I went online and there was an offer for a $300 reward for spending $3000 within 90 days. I tried to apply for a credit card, but had to open a savings account first. I opened the savings and then applied for a credit card I received the card, but it had a limit of $500. My credit score is over 800 and I have never had any late payments. I then sent them a message and I attached documents showing $297000 in bank accounts and millions in a Fidelity Investment account. I received this reply: Subject: CREDIT LIMIT Navy Federal Response 03/27/2024 : Thank you for your message about the credit limit assigned to your newly opened credit card account. USAA had stopped the check because they thought it had been overnight end to the wrong address. Incredibly, the credit union worked with me without hassle as I worked with USAA to reissue the check. The Navy Federal Credit Union basically gave me an interest free loan for 10 days until I finally got the new check. Fantastic customer service from both the staff on location and those I dealt with by phone. I also have a car loan through them and have been very satisfied with the service I've received. When I asked Ms. Little, the Assistant Vice President about this, she stonewalled me and backed her staff, even when proof was provided of the information breech. When I raised the concern about the data loss other institutions have had as of late, and equated the two, Ms. Little kindly offered to close my account rather than focus on her employees misdeeds, (which were at the least lacking in judgement, and at the most, a crime) I gladly accepted her offer and closed my account. The contempt they have for their "customers" is only matched by their ineptitude and/or unwillingness to provide good customer service.

After numerous attempts and the guarantee of a return call that never happened, Exchange closed our account. No call, letter, nothing. They not only closed the account which was not in poor standing, but also deleted all files they had on our business. The amount of time wasted and the lack of remorse was very off-putting. Highly recommend searching elsewhere for your banking needs. Communication is everything especially when financials are involved.
