It would be more advisable to choose a lawyer with a strong reputation. I have collaborated with various attorneys who work as a team to provide you with a seamless legal service. However, the first lawyer I worked with charges 35% for their services instead of the standard 30%. Although I didn't mind the higher fee, I received a payment confirmation email, but I haven't heard anything back from them since March 28th. They promised that the liens department would contact me, but no one has done so. I still don't know who my lawyer is, and I only receive emails from someone named Taylor without any payment updates. He got me in contact with Sachs Law and they made the whole process a breeze. Everyone was always helpful and friendly, called me ever 1-2 weeks to check in and give me updates. After my treatment was finished they even negotiated to get my bills lower. They told me there would be some money left over (I expected $500-$1,000) and they mailed Me a check for $11,000. Sachs law picked up my case after another lawyer basically didn't want to "fight" or even try to get my case resolved. Other law firms are looking for "easy" slam dunk cases and most founding lawyers aren't involved with the day to day aspect of the case. With Sachs, I always had my questions answered and my case was resolved very quickly without any issues.
