    Didn't even attempt to blend the hair in. Shaved up the side of my head on one side.

    Just got a haircut here... barber was nice but horrible haircut. Not even close to an even cut. I asked for a 2 on the sides and finger length on top... same instructions I've given for 10 years. Had to ask him to go back and cut much shorter on the top. Initially barely touched the top. One side is shorter than the other and the barber buzzed up much higher on one side than the other but didn't bother blending it. Looked bad when I left and worse when I got home and showered. I'm gonna wait a week for it to grow out and get it fixed somewhere else. Probably Omar's Custom Cuts. Much better shop. I should have gone back there in the 1st place. Really bad haircut and I was in the chair over an hour for a trim. Just go somewhere else. Avoid. $35 for a haircut that is worse than what I expect at Great Clips.

I made an appointment the day before for 10am, arrived at 9:59 and checked in. Waited 15 minutes while they started two other clients, not sure if they had an appointment or not. When I made my appointment I saw that there wasn't a lot of scheduled appointments in the books so, I thought that getting helped on time wouldn't be an issue. I waited 15 minutes before they sat me down and put my feet in the water to sit around for another 15 minutes. By now I realized that I wouldn't be able to get both services completed before I needed to leave. During this time, two other ladies walked in and were also waiting, but I found out later they were walk-ins. Another lady walked in after I had been waiting for 30 minutes, looking to be a walk-in, but they said it was gonna be a while because there were people waiting, so she was trying to schedule an appointment for later that afternoon. I ended up getting up and gathering my stuff and told the lady that she could have my appointment since I had been sitting around for 30 minutes with nothing happening. I looked at the lady who had scheduled my appointment the day before and who had checked me in the day of and she gave me no response. I went out to my car and the lady ended up making an appointment and following me out. Just asked what happened and I explained the situation and she had told me that most people were walk-ins for this establishment.Also the other two women that were waiting left shortly after I did and I asked if they had an appointment, but they said that they were also walk-ins. I don't understand why you would take an appointment and not honor it. There is a reason for appointment, mainly so we can keep our schedules for the day. After seeing the empty books and being told that most people are walk-ins, I believe the two ladies they helped before me were also walk-ins (not verified), and ended up taking my reserved time. It's very frustrating at the lack of professionalism with businesses nowadays. Nothing was done to honor my appointment, nothing was said when I voiced that I had been waiting for 30 minutes, and nothing will be done because I am just one person. I am not telling you, whether you should or should not use this company for any service, I am just providing a rating of my experience. I have a place that I normally go to, but it is 30 minutes away and they are fantastic. Looks like I need to go on here and give them a rating too to show how much I appreciate the service I received from them. Looking forward to a reply.

The nail tech, Ruby, forgot the color I chose and painted them the wrong color. Because I was rushing to another appointment, she told me to come back the very next day and she would fix it. When I called to schedule the correction, Ruby wasn't there, so I made an appointment for 9:00 AM the following morning. Today, I arrived on time and waited over 30 minutes because she was late. During that time, the owner/manager came over, looked at my toes, took photos, and explained they had already been having issues with Ruby. Because I had already been inconvenienced by having to return for a mistake that was not mine, take additional time away from work, and then wait over 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment, I asked the owner if acrylic could be added to my big toenails at no charge as a gesture of goodwill for everything I had been put through. The owner agreed and instructed Ruby to do it. That is when the situation escalated. Instead of accepting the owner's decision and taking accountability for the original mistake, Ruby became argumentative and confrontational with me. At that point, my frustration was no longer about the color itself. It was about the repeated inconvenience, lack of professionalism, being late to a scheduled appointment, and being met with resistance and excuses rather than a sincere effort to correct the situation. The issue could have been resolved professionally, but Ruby's attitude and unwillingness to take responsibility turned a simple correction into an unnecessarily negative experience. I also want to be fair in my review. I previously had my fingernails done by Austin, and I will absolutely give credit where it is due his nail work is beautiful, and I was always happy with the quality of his services. However, I did have an experience where I felt he was unnecessarily rude to both my mother and me, and that interaction ultimately led me to stop booking with him. While I can acknowledge the quality of his work, customer service and professionalism are equally important to me as a paying customer.( Fortunate for me I do have this whole encounter voice recorded so that I was able to go back ACCURATELY create this HORRIBLE review! ) The salon itself is clean, well-maintained, and organized. The workstations, floors, and overall appearance of the shop were consistently kept neat during my visits. Cleanliness was never an issue, and I appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining a professional environment for customers. Stylist Review for Ruby: Ruby was the original technician who did my pedicure and unfortunately my experience with her was disappointing. She painted my toes SUPER SLOPPY the wrong color after I had clearly selected a different one and asked me to come back the next day to correct her mistake. SHE Never showed up the day she told me to come in to correct her mistake . When I returned for my scheduled appointment, she arrived over 30 minutes late. What was most frustrating was that instead of taking accountability for the inconvenience and mistake, she became argumentative when the situation was being addressed. Everyone makes mistakes, but professionalism is measured by how those mistakes are handled, and unfortunately that was lacking during my experience. Review for the Owner/Manager: I appreciate that the owner ultimately tried to make the situation right. At first, there seemed to be some hesitation when I requested acrylic on my big toes as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience of having to return, missing work time, and waiting over 30 minutes past my appointment time. However, after reviewing the situation and recognizing everything that had occurred, the owner reconsidered and approved the request. While the experience should never have reached that point, I do appreciate that management eventually listened to my concerns and attempted to provide a reasonable resolution. Review for Austin: Austin is very talented when it comes to nails, and I want to give him full credit for the quality of his work. My fingernails always looked great, and I was consistently happy with the results. Unfortunately, I had an experience where I felt he was rude and dismissive toward both my mother and me, which ultimately led me to stop booking with him. While I can't fault his skills as a nail technician, customer service is just as important as the service itself. If professionalism and communication had matched the quality of his work, I would likely still be a client today.

    One start review, because you can't give less…read more I went in today 03/06/2026 @ 2:45pm to SOAK off my gel/acrylic nails. The bald Asian man at the front seemed like most Asian shops, pushy. I thought nothing of it. As this is how most shops are in Arizona. He sat me down at his station and kept trying to sell me on getting my nails done (fill, new set, etc.) At first I was definitely considering on going with a gel nail once my current nail polish( gel nail) was removed. However, the chain of events changed that. Before soaking of my nail he was prying the nail apart. He started cutting my finger, not acrylic, nail jaggedly and then used an acrylic nail to try and remove the gel nail I had on. I told him it hurt. He seemed frustrated and said it would take longer to soak off. I clearly wanted a soak off to save my nails from more damage. Anyway, I went for a basic pedicure, while I was soaking off my gel nails, since I wanted the gel nail color removed off my toes. I was looking for a "metallic color changing" nail color (Popular on social media at this time ). He was quite rude and said they don't have that. He stated, he has the color panel he showed me and then brought out "cat eye" nail colors after I asked the woman who was doing my pedicure. He kept interrupting her and told me there was an additional up charge of $10 on top of the gel manicure and pedicure cost. He then told me the regular matte color nail polish I was thinking of secondly, was an additional $5. What takes the cake is that when I asked what color a nail was, he stated "it's that color, it's what you see". I'm color blind! The nail I was painting at had no name and wasn't in any color order. It only had a number. Anyway, I knew that most places upcharge for gel nails $10-$15 more than the normal manicure, but to add $5 for a matte color and an additional $10 for cat eye is crazy. Not to mention being extremely rude when asked about a color that had no name or color flow to determine the color. The young woman who did my pedicure was sweet and nice. I do not recommend this place at all, especially for an ADA person. To be clear, I am Asian and I felt like this man was either racist or sexist and definitely was not professional at all.
