I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long. Overall, this location was consistent with the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. No surprises, just the usual dependable Rack experience. I'd definitely return.

The store was very well stocked and clean. You didn't see much on the ground from items knocked down. The items I found were priced very well. No complaints. There was so much variety here that you could spend a lot of time in this store. Upon checking out, I was greeted by a young lady. She asked me about opening a store credit card and I told her no thank you. Her demeanor changed, lol! It's a Lane Bryant located in an Outlet mall. They may not have the NEWEST releases but it's not really old stuff either, and the so called sales are the same sales you get at a regular store. Might as well go the the regular store and get the same sale on the newest stuff. I'll travel a little further from now on and go to the location at Carolina Place, where they actually carry my size. I went in yesterday looking to get some bras and underwear. They didn't have anything in my size that I needed. It was rather frustrating actually. The sales ladies (which there were like 5 in the store and I found that overwhelming) were fairly nice and tried to be helpful to a certain degree. I was the only customer in the store and they each came up to me at least 2 times asking to help me. I know it's what they are supposed to do, but when there are like 5 of them that's a bit oppressive. However I was so frustrated that I'm afraid I wasn't as nice as I could have been. I was looking for Hipsters (underwear) and the only sizes they had were 14/16 and 18/20. They kept talking about how the underwear table needed to be fixed (it was a hot mess), but instead of one of them just doing it they told some girl in the back she could do it when she came in next, a few days from then. The store was empty except for me and there are 5 people working, two of them could have knocked it out in like 15 minutes!! Regardless I dug through and found 4 in my size, but not 5 in order to get the 5 for $29 so I left them (they weren't cute but generic and not worth it). I moved on to bras They had 1 bra in the buy 2 get 2 section in my size and preferred style, so I went to the regular bra wall. They literally had ZERO in my size and preferred style. Needless to say at this point when one of the girls asked me if they could help me I got a bit snippy and commented on how they didn't seem to have a whole lot going on in the store. I think I offended her a bit, and to be fair she did well to contain her snark. She's why they get 2 stars instead of 1. I'm pretty sure had I been her I would have snapped back at me lol. I ended up buying a few things from the athletic section, however when I go to the Carolina Place store this afternoon I'm going to return the two shirts... I felt bad for being irritable with them so I bought them when I should have just left with nothing. When I tried them on at home I didn't like them. So I'm sorry for being irritable with the staff, however it doesn't change the fact that this store doesn't have product. If I wanted to go to a huge store full of clothing I can't buy I'd go to Abercrombie.

It's located in the heart of downtown Belmont not far from the vet urgent care and Twisted Sugar. The site described that it is a consignment store that sells a mix of new and consignment clothing for women, children, and some home items. The windows displayed some luxury brand items and packaging, which was quite impressive. Staff greeted everyone warmly when you entered and they were happy to help out. I decided to browse on my own and enjoyed looking through the racks at my own leisure. Most of the brands I saw were some for a little older demographic at the time, but there were some familiar names like Chloe, Zara, and others. I liked how there was a clear division to show what side the consignment items were on and which side the newer items were on. (Right side of the store for the former and left for the latter.) While I didn't walk out of there with anything, it was fun looking. Parking options are street parking or finding a lot.

Although I didn't find the color I needed, I knew I wanted to come back. When I finally came back to shop, I had such a wonderful experience! I was greeted warmly, had a fitting room started for me, and was tempted to buy half the store! I came back another day for some pieces I didn't purchase the previous time, but they were gone :( There's a sort of thrill and disappointment at seeing the limited availability. Creates a sort of shopping rush to the experience! However, I did notice not all the staff are as warm as I experienced on my first shopping experience there. The last time I went, one staff member, short hair and bright blue contacts, wouldn't even make eye contact with me, and hardly spoke a word.
