Once again made an appointment to see the ever elusive Lucy. But, this time, I really didn't care…read moreif I saw her or not. The one I wanted to see is Jennifer. And, wouldn't you know it, making an appointment to see Lucy was to guarantee Jennifer would be waiting for me. Wouldn't you know it, I arrive and who is waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs? Jennifer. Due to the stiffness in my back and the tightness of my leg muscles, I had a real difficult time negotiating the stairs. As I was making my way down the stairs, I made a mental note to self to make sure Jennifer spent extra time on my calf, thigh and back muscles followed by some mild stretching to make sure my muscles were relaxed enough to climb back up those formidable stairs once the massage was over. Once Jennifer began, the tightness slowly ebbed as she worked out knot after knot until my entire body felt renewed and rejuvenated. For a while, I was going to make seeing Lucy my quest. But with Jennifer there I could care less if I ever see Lucy. This time around, Jennifer gets 5 stars.

The massage was so good, this spa could easily become a destination spa. Have to try and get back after 2/16. Very nice that they put a notification of their closure on their website, points for that, but they should have also left a message on their phone. Not everyone will think they have a website. "Central Therapy provides Spinal Decompression, Acupuncture, Microdermabrasion to it's customers." For sure my memory could use some help, but I'm not sure visiting a spa and getting a massage will help my memory. Maybe they have some memory exercises they do while massaging your scalp. Some of the other things they specialize in, I've never heard of. I think, at least for the intermediate term, I'll just get a massage. They are pretty good at that. Upstairs there are extra services such as massages, facials, scrubs, reflexology, etc. for an additional fee per service. They also have a dining area where you can purchase lunch/dinner as well. Upon arrival/check in you will pay for your day pass/services and then you are given a numbered key. The key will open a numbered locker to your left where you store your shoes only. Then, you walk barefoot or with socks on to the men's/women's changing rooms. Once in the changing room, you will look for your numbered locker which the same key fits, to store your street clothes, so that you can put on the uniform. The change room is massive and has bathrooms, showers, and the entrance to the pool. ***You are not allowed to wear clothing in the pool, not even a bathing suit, just FYI. However, if you're daring enough to enjoy the pool in the buff, the men's and women's pools are separate and walled off. So it's not coed at all, if that's a concern. I consider myself pretty cultured, but this is one thing that I was surprised about the 1st time I visited and not comfortable with, so I have never partaken in the pool. Other than that, the various degrees of saunas are great, the massages, and the food in the dining area. I enjoy what I partake in, and find it to be a good value overall.
