I needed a physical, so I called a number of doctors' offices covered by my insurance. Unlike the others who either weren't taking new patients or weren't taking them for months, Dr. Golovan was able to get me in within ten days of my call. His staff is friendly, and unlike virtually every other doctor I've visited over the past decade, Dr. Golovan didn't subject me to the eight-minute shuffle--that game where overscheduled doctors make you feel as if you're imposing on them if you take up any more than eight minutes of their time. Instead, Dr. Golovan asked questions about my health. Then, he listened. Then, after I was done telling him about my concerns, we discussed them. I don't think I've ever had a doctor who was so genuinely interested in his patients' health and so dedicated to making sure that patients' concerns were taken care of. Also, the staff members I interacted with were extremely friendly and courteous. In sum, if you need a doctor in Cleveland, I would highly recommend visiting Dr. Golovan.

You can have the best surgeons but if the staff can't do their jobs, it doesn't matter. She has been there for four months and the issues continue and it is getting worse. It takes weeks for her to do her job, then you can schedule,, meanwhile Dr Shaia has open slots. Patients are needlessly suffering. This is ridiculous behavior from a doctor's office. This is not an insurance problem. It is a TISH problem.

It was something that should be done- common courtesy. I take full responsibility for that. But things happen. There are reasons, but I'll make no excuses. Soon after I received a letter telling me if I didn't reschedule with their office I could no longer seek medical services from The Ohio Medical Group, assuming this would only apply to his office and the handful of other doctors located at the same small facility in Olmsted Falls. I didn't particularly care for this doctor's bedside manner on previous visits and never planned to return to his practice, so I simply ignored the letter and eventually sought another primary care provider. I soon learned this minor slight against Kelly would severely limit my ability to seek adequate healthcare. I AM NOW BANNED FROM SEEKING THE CARE OF ANY DOCTOR IN THE OHIO MEDICAL GROUP because of this minor infraction. The Ohio Medical group is a huge organisation that comprises a very large portion of medical practitioners in this community. Almost every doctor's office I contacted through my insurance has now told me they can't accept me as a patient because of this man, and that organisations irrational policies. Other than the mistakes I mentioned there were no other infractions or difficulties. I was, and I am always polite and respectful. Should each of them wield so much individual power? My ability to seek adequate healthcare is extremely limited now, so take this as a cautionary tale. I have nothing for disdain for the vindictive way I was treated and am strongly considering pursuing this further through TOMC chain of command whatever good that will do. Treat people like human beings. We are flawed. We make mistakes. And maybe, just maybe, a patient's well being should take precedence over time, money, and one man's (or one woman's) inflated sense of importance.

I have never gone to a practice that is this experienced, up-to-date, and as Capri g as the ones at AIA. I was happy when they opened a Westside location because I get a monthly shot and it makes it very convenient to just have to travel a short distance to get a shot that I am in and out of the office in less than 10 minutes. There was also a doctor there, Dr. Phil, who is new to the practice and I've met with once and I would take her as a stand-in for Dr. Javari as well. She was up-to-date on my case and had read my file and understood exactly what I needed. Then add to that an experienced, kind understanding on top of everything office staff. at both. I walk into either office. They know me they've checked me in and if there is time they've already checked on the dates and tell me what's open so I can make my next appointment that way I don't have to stop on my way out. They are always thinking of the patient time and doing all they can to keep things moving smoothly. That's what you need from the doctors office trusting caring staff member and doctors who really take the time for you. I give the practice of allergy and immunology associates the highest grade you can possibly get - they would get A+

I called again and asked for Dr. Panuto to prescribe me a new medication. I was told I need to call my insurance and ask medication was covered under my insurance and also did not contain the ingredient I was allergic to. Now, have you ever heard of a doctor telling you to research your own medications? I spent hours on the phone with my insurance asking about medications without the ingredient and could not even be told the cost of most of them without prior authorization. This would have been made easier for me if the doctor could have just given me this information. I have now switched to a different allergist and called Dr. Panuto's office to have my test results sent. I told the woman on the phone to please call me when they faxed the records. I called the new doctors office 2 weeks later and asked to make sure they had the results and to my surprise, they had never received the fax. I called Dr. Panuto's office again and asked why they had not been sent and the woman told me I needed to have a records release form before they could send the forms. I'm confused why it was confirmed that the records were faxed but I was never told that I needed a release form? Do not go to this doctor!
