She really listens and looks at your full medical history when considering treatment or issues, when you are medically complex this is very reassuring and unfortunately, not the norm in today's medical environment. When I've had flashing lights in my vision her staff fit me in right away and when I was raveling and had an issue she got on the phone and looked at pictures I sent to determine if I needed emergency care. She is absolutely wonderful and I wish all doctors were as thorough and knowledge as Dr. Lavery.

I was happy when they opened a Westside location because I get a monthly shot and it makes it very convenient to just have to travel a short distance to get a shot that I am in and out of the office in less than 10 minutes. There was also a doctor there, Dr. Phil, who is new to the practice and I've met with once and I would take her as a stand-in for Dr. Javari as well. She was up-to-date on my case and had read my file and understood exactly what I needed. Then add to that an experienced, kind understanding on top of everything office staff. at both. I walk into either office. They know me they've checked me in and if there is time they've already checked on the dates and tell me what's open so I can make my next appointment that way I don't have to stop on my way out. They are always thinking of the patient time and doing all they can to keep things moving smoothly. I called again and asked for Dr. Panuto to prescribe me a new medication. I was told I need to call my insurance and ask medication was covered under my insurance and also did not contain the ingredient I was allergic to. Now, have you ever heard of a doctor telling you to research your own medications? I spent hours on the phone with my insurance asking about medications without the ingredient and could not even be told the cost of most of them without prior authorization. This would have been made easier for me if the doctor could have just given me this information. I have now switched to a different allergist and called Dr. Panuto's office to have my test results sent. I told the woman on the phone to please call me when they faxed the records. I called the new doctors office 2 weeks later and asked to make sure they had the results and to my surprise, they had never received the fax. I called Dr. Panuto's office again and asked why they had not been sent and the woman told me I needed to have a records release form before they could send the forms. I'm confused why it was confirmed that the records were faxed but I was never told that I needed a release form? Do not go to this doctor!

I got in for a new patient appt. next day. Dr. Holtzmeier was on time, very professional and great bedside manner. I didn't feel like he was rushing me out when I asked him tons of questions either. The only thing I would change would be to have better signage for his office. They are located on an entire floor above Hoolihan's Restaurant on Detroit Rd. (off the Columbia exit) but all that's there is a University Hospitals sign. Kind of confusing but so worth it once you know where you are going. I'm quite happy with my choice of Dr. Brant Holtzmeier.

The Physical Therapy unit is on the 3rd floor which is also the location for St. John's Medical Center. Westshore Primary Care (Westlake) is on the 2nd floor of this building. I did regular physical therapy here for my back for about 6 weeks. The PT that I saw was great. His name is Eric Jankov (DPT - Doctor of Physical Therapy). He asked me the right questions about my back and provided exercises I could do at home. I met with him twice a week from April 2018 - May 2018 for 45mins to an hour at each meeting. I had less back pain after my sessions. I just need to sit less at work; meaning, try to get up every hour to walk around...haha. I know we all struggle with sitting for too long during the work day. Also. I may be confusing both locations of University Hospitals on Detroit Road but I believe I came to this location for an X-Ray as well. But just like an ex boyfriend, if you can't meet my needs there are plenty of other fish in the sea. Chose this office because their close to home and all the online reviews were great. One thing that makes this place a great choice is convenience. Three floors jam packed with every kind of doctor you can imagine. They have primary care physicians, dermatologists, physical therapists, dietitians, podiatrists, radiologists and the list goes on and on. It's a one stop shop, unlike my previous doctor who had to outsource everything. Going to several different offices and waiting is a thing of the past for me now. I have never experienced such a high level of care, ever. I came in contact with at least 6 different employees, they were all shockingly pleasant. Everyone was helpful, happy to answer questions and likable. The doctor diagnosed a problem I have been having for years in less than 30 minutes with his bare hands. No x-rays, tests or samples needed. I feel terrible that at first I didn't believe him, since I had been diagnosed previously with something completely different. After he told me the problem and his advise fixed it, I realized that my doctor--he's the man. I have been recommending this place to everyone. If you are suffering and nobody is able to make you feel better (like I was), definitely come here for a second opinion. Once you call in and tell the receptionist what your concerns are she will get you with the right MD or DO (I saw a DO) and I'm pretty sure that these doctors are the 'elites' of the medical world. My research showed that only one in 5 doctors hold the title DO. They are able to diagnose, perform surgery and everything in between. They take a hands on approach and for me it got a little 'uncle touchy' but I have never came across a doctor who could tell me what's wrong with me by touching me everywhere and moving me about and asking me 'does this hurt, does that hurt' etc. Not only was I shocked that he figured me out so easily, everyone I have told is floored as well. First of all I called and was on hold for over 30 minutes and no one answered. I called back and went through the same thing again. I called a third time and finally got through to someone. That individual was clueless as to what was going on with my scheduled procedure. She told me I was scheduled for a different procedure than the one that was ordered. When I explained I was supposed to get a different procedure she informed me I was incorrect. I called the Cleveland Clinic to verify what had been ordered and I was correct North Shore had me scheduled for the wrong test. I called them back and phone rang for 25 minutes straight and no one answered. I waited 45 minutes called back and had the same result. I then called the Cleveland Clinic back and they put me on hold and tried to contact North Shore directly. They came back on and told me the offices were closed, that was at 3:23 PM and North Shore states on their website they are open until 4:00 PM on Fridays. North Shore claims they have won awards and are highly acclaimed, based on my dealings with them it must be for gross incompetence and unprofessionalism. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this 'medical circus' as you can. From what I can see they couldn't care less about their patients only the patients insurance and their bottom line.

They threw me on an antibiotic saying yea this will probably do it but we don't know. So I could be walking around with an infection and just not know it! I will NEVER go here again.
