After much research for a newborn photographer, we decided to go with My First Photo due to them giving me the best quote, we were also impressed with the photos on their website and IG account and it was exactly what we were interested in. Booking the appointment was as very easily done online and I received a text from Jenice prior to the photoshoot. The studio is located inside the home and it's a very nice set up with lots of props, background options, etc. Jenice had everything ready when we arrived and along with her assistant they made us feel very comfortable and I felt safe handing them my newborn baby. I loved that we were able to see the photos on an ipad as they were being taken, and that Jenice was very friendly throughout the shoot, making small talk. She was also very thorough explaining everything. We received all the photos with a watermark after 10 days of the shoot and received the edited images within 48 hrs of us choosing our top picks. They were prompt in responses, absolutely on time for their appointment, and so cautious with the whole preventative measures for the corona virus. They were easy to communicate with and super friendly. Not to mention they were so great with my 6 week old son. I've just received my photos to choose from and I think it's more than safe to say I love them as I am purchasing another 35 photos!!!! Let me start by saying that Jenice is an amazing, caring and passionate photographer. I've done 3 shoots with her so far and each one has been special in its own way. Maternity at 35 weeks: My husband and I did our beach maternity photos at Dania beach. We are first time parents so you can imagine that we did not know how to pose or what to expect with a big pregnant belly. She was very patient with us and helped us by suggesting comfortable poses for us. TIPS: take a lot of props! Ultrasound scans, baby shoes, baby outfits (they will add personality to your photos) Maternity at 39 weeks: we decided to do another shoot right before giving birth because I wasn't feeling too good about myself. We went with a silhouette type photoshoot and we are so obsessed with our pictures!! Our pictures came out so intimate, powerful, beautiful and they made me feel so feminine/ empowered. I highly suggest to moms who aren't feeling beautiful about their pregnant bodies. Especially the last couple weeks of pregnancy that are the hardest on you. Newborn shoot: oh my goodness! Who knew you would get so emotional watching your first baby (1 week old) get photographed in all these cute outfits. Such a beautiful & emotional experience. I decided to bring the whole family. Grandma, grandpa, auntie, mom and dad.- with that being said she was so patient and super interactive with my whole family. She and her husband (power couple) made us feel right at home. She was super cautious with our baby and she knew exactly how to make him comfortable and put him to sleep (can we take her home? ) Our session collided with a feeding time, and she was so understanding. She let us feed and change our baby without rushing us and with no issue. Overall, I highly recommend My First Photo! Amazing job! I came in to this think it was going to be all about the mom and I would just and at my mark and smile, but I was very wrong she took everything into consideration including me making shire that we got every photo we could imagine consistently asking what my wife would like and what I would like to do in these photos and she handled our baby so well! I recently took my babies newborn photo with Jenice. It was a very nice experience. She is a baby whisperer. They were very patient and kind. My session was at 10 and we had plenty of time to feed baby and wait for him to fall asleep. She also have lots of props and lots of colors blanket to choose from. Go with her and you won't regret. Had our little one's newborn session today & I am so glad we went with my first photo! Jenice is truly amazing at her art. The patience, the warmth, the creative eye surpassed my expectations even including my other two little ones.
