The good news was that it was ON SALE and I got it for about 30% of the original asking quote. Every girl dreams about having a wedding dress so rare that no one else has it. I did a lot of digging to find the designer and style and only find that one other bride had worn the dress online. I took note of the alterations she made to it, and did the same to my dress. I'm very happy with the results. My shopping experience at the store was good in that I found the product I wanted, but if you can, go into the store on a day where they're not too busy - I accidentally rushed my fitting, and I should have taken longer to enjoy the experience, since that would be my only wedding shopping experience.

They happily customised an "off the rack" gown to incorporate my numerous requests, and all for a quarter of what I had budgeted! I was so happy I took my dress here for alterations!!!…read more I bought my dress from Alfred Angelo's in the States and needed to get my alterations done here - it was a big ask, a lot of work needed to be done, and I knew it was going to be an expensive undertaking. On my first consult with my dress I took two friends and we were BLOWN AWAY at the boutique-private-style and romantic ambiance of the shop! It was beautiful, with crystal chandeliers, silk designer dresses hanging beautifully on racks, soft ottoman cushions and long mirrors... all helped create a calming sense of "my dress is going to be in good hands." AND IT WAS! My dress was a gradual mermaid ALL LACE dress. The whole top of the dress needed to be re-worked, including taking the lace appliqué off the top of the corset and re-shaping the frame of the corset! They took my dress from an interesting-cap-sleeved creation to a beautiful and natural looking sweetheart neckline which matched my bra and my natural shape! They put in so many hours to work on my dress, and needless to say, after one more consultation -- THEY FINISHED MY DRESS IN ONLY 3 WEEKS! It was beautiful, and for the amount of hours they put into completely restructuring the top of my dress, they charged me only HALF off what they should have charged! Beautiful work, beautiful sewmanship, and beautiful and friendly staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The staff were friendly and very helpful. It was our first stop so they were happy to let us browse, but were also on hand to answer any queries.
