This is in response to the reviews made by Mikito L. and Zoe A. and especially Michelle A. regarding the park party. As owner, I got wind that something had happened on the day of your party. We found out that the entertainer was in the park and was having a difficult time locating your event at Pelham Park. A thorough investigation concluded that although the magician was actively searching for your party at the park, he had conducted himself in a manner that was unbecoming and brought ill repute to our establishment by his losing his temper over the phone and using expletives while speaking to you. This behavior is deemed unacceptable and not condoned in this establishment. Subsequently, Marco the Magician is no longer part of this establishment and his contract with us has been permanently terminated. As you can see, we take immediate corrective action to protect our valued customers. I did contact Michelle A. to apologize and refund her deposit. I personally promised her a free show, performed by me, which Michelle A. found acceptable and thanked her for accepting my sincere apologies. It is my intention to personally repair any damage created by the x-member and to Michelle A's credit, she recognized that x-member as being "one bad apple." Worth every penny!!. Rocky and his assistant were great! Very professional! I loved their flexibility and understanding. I had agreed to pay cash, but as I had done several transactions during the day my bank wasn't allowing me to withdraw more cash. I called them an hour before the event, explained the situation and very cordial they agreed to do an electronic transaction and asked me if still wanted to start at the my scheduled time, I said 30 minutes later and they agreed. The kids were entertained the whole time, with dances and games, we all love the bubble machine and laser lights. The girl doing the face painting did excellent work. Rocky did ballon animals, also great! They served the pop corn and cotton candy in good timing. We had issue with the electricity were they were sitting and with no problem they moved the cotton candy machine and continue their work. At the end of the show (past the time scheduled) I asked Rocky if he could give the treats to the kids and he agreed. I'm grateful for everything!! You guys rock!! So I was planning my daughter's 6th birthday party, at first I wanted something small... But then last minute decided to get a clown..l so I did a Google search the Friday afternoon for the next day Saturday, I was not expecting to find anything this late much less a great clown. But the stars were aligned and I got My house of Magic! It was worth every penny, I've had clown parties before but nothing like this. Everyone played along my daughter's teenage cousins got their face painted (few adults too) everyone danced and sang along, participated in the magic show, it was definitely a party maker, I strongly recommend them. We have been using my house of magic for the last 6 years. We recently had them for our fund raiser at Leonard in Great Neck with about 400 adults and about 85 children. I knew this was going to be a big event and I needed someone trustworthy and competent to handle such a big crowd. I used 3 people from My House of Magic (I did pay extra for an additional assistant because of the scope of my party). They came out and did face painting, balloon animals, and had those 85+ kids having loads of fun. They played games and did an amazing magic show. My guests kept asking me what company did I hire for my entertainment, because they did an amazing job. I love these guys and they have always come through for me. Let me start by saying I LOVE this company! I used House of Magic for my sons' 8th birthday and it was a party he will never forget. I booked a bounce house and magician for a group of 12 kids. House of Magic offered the best price by far and provided the best entertainment that we have seen yet (and we have used many different companies). When I initially called for a quote I was unsure as to what I actually wanted. Their staff gave me several options and were amazingly helpful when I was making my selections. Finally, they were on time, their bounce house was extremely clean and in perfect condition, the entertainment (in case I haven't mentioned it) was FANTASTIC. AMAZING! I am as thrilled writing this review as I was after the show ended. The magician (Debo) came out to entertain my 6 year old and his friends and family but we were all entertained, all left in awe with his magician skills. He captivated everyone's attention and made everyone want to participate. My son laugh, and happiness was priceless. House of Magic is everything and more I could have expected them to be. My Sister-in-law hired them for a party she was having and they were amazing. Rocky and his Assistant were so entertaining, all the kids were intrigued. They enjoyed the balloon animals, the games they played with them and he live animals. Since that party which was over 2 years ago I have used them for both of my kids 1st birthday parties and my Brother has used them twice too. My house of magic entertainers did an amazing job for my sons first birthday party. We had a large crowd of young and old and the entertainer was a great with everyone. The magic show was the finale and ALL the people at the party were amazed. My adult friends as well as he kids wanted his business card so they could use him again. I absolutely loved these guys! Rocky came to perform for my sons party this last Sunday and it was the most wonderful experience. I called them on that Thursday thinking they would have no availability and to my excitement they did. To make it even better I asked for a minion since the theme was minion and they had one!!! About a week and a half ago Rocky and his assistant covered my son's Joziah's 2nd bday party and they were awesome and professional! The kids loved everything from the face painting to the magic show! We ordered the VIP package and they did not disappoint!!! It was worth it both the kids and adults were entertained! Excellent entertainment. Rocky was very animated and funny. His jokes were age appropriate and even had the adults laughing. It was the highlight of my daughter's birthday party. The kids enjoyed snow cones, cotton candy, bubble show, games and lots of dancing. Rocky arrived early and was very professional. The only little (emphasis on little) negative tidbit was the face painting, it was on the amateur side, but granted it was done by a teenager. Rocky was AMAZING! Rocky performed at my son's 4th birthday party and had the kids in stitches and captured their attention for the entire time. He is one of the best kids performers/magicians I have ever seen. He brought out bubbles, balloons, a dove and a bunny -- the kids were soooo excited. I hired Rocky for my two kids birthday party. Him and his assistant were there on time. All the kids enjoyed the show !  I highly recommend. Reasonable price  that included facepainting,balloon animals, live animals, magic, music, dancing and bubble show . Will definitely hire again.
