I'll list the positives and the negatives, it was a very mixed bag. We went on a Saturday night, the place was packed and we didn't have a reservation. They were very accommodating and offered us a table upstairs; we assumed it was a rooftop area - wrong! It was a low ceiling loft area that was full of people and hot. Given the current state of Covid, we were uncomfortable in this setting; waiters wearing masks was hit or miss, some of them were better at covering mouth and nose than others. We ordered beers and food, and quickly asked if we could just get the food for takeaway instead of dining in. They said yes. We drank our beers and waited...and waited...and waited. At least one other couple came in after we did, were seated and served their dinner and were eating for probably 15 minutes before our order was ready. It wasn't a complicated order, a summer roll and some pad Thai. We took it back to our hotel and ate it, it was good. To sum up: Positives: accommodating staff, tasty food. Negatives: spotty Covid precautions, fully packed low ceiling hot upstairs, took forever to get our order. read more

We were only charged three. Had I realized that at the time, I would have said something. But I did leave a tip despite it all being self serve. That said, the food itself was very good for being a Pan-Asian restaurant smack-dab in the middle of Germany. The larger main courses were more in the varietal Teishoku style, and their sushi rolls were as good as any you'd eat in the San Francisco Bay Area (which is to say ... pretty good!). The one thing that put a bit of a damper on the dinner for me was that I'd ordered a half-liter of beer, and asked once again if it was coming out as it had been a while. Well, two different servers returned with a half-liter each, so I had to gulp down a liter of beer in front of my friend's family which probably didn't look so good. :-P Other than that, Vinami was very good. I would come here again, only next time I'll be sure to ask ONE person for a beer and ask only them if it takes a while to come out.

On a Monday visit. This place was quiet popular, the price range was a little bit high. But for Baden Baden city it was acceptable. Based on my Asian food experience, we expected something special. I ordered the menu E1 "Maki Mix". My boyfriend the Chicken in Mango Curry sauce. The waiter was very friendly and we got our drinks fast. The food was served very quick as well. The sushi was served on a coal plates and dry ice for the eye-catching presentation. It was delicious My boyfriend loves his food as well. We enjoyed our meal there. Really bizarre experience with this restaurant today. Walked in looking for some lunch - the door was unlocked and there was an open sign in the window. Walked in and there were about 4-5 male workers there who failed to acknowledge my presence other than awkwardly and somewhat rudely looking at me.
