Comes to the table with a hot plate...candies underneath to keep the food warm! The menu has English translation which made it easy for us to order. Comfortable pleasing restaurant to the eye. Gilbert, an employee quickly introduced himself and said that the restaurant is only one month old. That explains the lack of reviews. The atmosphere is calm and luxurious. The chairs are lush and it feels like a high class restaurant which, luckily, the prices do not reflect. I ordered a caiprihana, a traditional Brazilian drink to start off. I know, weird for an Indian restaurant but it is my favorite drink and they made it perfectly! I ordered two entrees so I could try their tandoori speciality and my favorite chicken tikka Masala. The lamb was out of this world. Perfectly cooked. So tender. This was the meal I was waiting for. For lunch I had gone to a touristy German place and got lamb that was just so disappointing. The lamb here melted in my mouth and had just the right seasoning that you look for in Indian cuisine. The chicken tikka masala was everything I wanted it to be. On top of the amazing food, service was on point. Gilbert took great care of me and even gave me a free schnapps to wrap up my meal! I will be back for sure. If you are in Heidelberg, skip the expensive tourist restaurants and head over here.

The place is super nice, the decor is super cool and they have some cool music and videos going on on TV. The staff is super nice and they are so friendly! this place also accommodated our party and separated our checks for us. THE TROPICAL- this drink is refreshing and also it is a little weak but for a light drinker this was perfect! I was looking for a fruity drink and this was perfect. CHICKEN SHAHI KORMA- this was a pretty good dish, it is a little bit on the sweet side but none the less pretty good. this is also not a spicy dish so it was perfect for me, but if you are looking for something not in the sweet side perhaps this is not the dish for you. CHEESE NAAN- this was a fresh piece of naan, the cheese was a bit weird, it looked and felt like scrambled eggs to be honest but the taste was definitely there. LUNCH OFFER SMALL - we also came another day and tried their lunch special, they had two sizes a small and a large, I selected the small and I was pretty satisfied with it, the choices are depending on the chef for the protein but it is a perfect way to sample some of the dishes they have on the full dinner menu. the small dish is definitely enough for one person and I even took some food home. This place is pretty good and they also take cards. this was a great experience and I definitely recommend.

Come here if you're looking for an authentic Indian spot that doesn't hold back on the spice! This restaurant is a block or two from the Frankfurt Main train station, which makes it a convenient stop for folks transiting through Frankfurt like we were. We came for lunch Thursday afternoon around 3 pm, and to my surprise there were more folks eating than I expected to see given the late lunch time. The menu has a lot of options... the other location I went to focused on South Indian dishes like dosas and uttapam, but here in addition to South Indian dishes, they offer a huge selection of curries and rice dishes as well as Indo-Chinese dishes. Please note that this is a veg restaurant; there's no meat on the menu. My friend and I split the chappathi ($7.25) and the onion rava masala dosa ($10.50). The chappathi was good and came with two curries, a potato curry and an aloo matar (cauliflower pea) curry. Both curries were good, but the aloo matar curry was super flavorful and my favorite of the two. The rava dosa was really good too. It was crispy and had a good amount of onion filling. However, the sambar it came with was super spicy, the spiciest sambar I've ever had. I couldn't eat it at all sadly. It also came with different chutneys than what I'm used to, but the ones they had were okay. My favorite was the coconut chutney, and I'm not sure what the other (yellow) one was. The food was fine, but the service was super lacking. All of the servers weren't very helpful and sometimes even was a bit rude. If tipping was common here, I would give very little to no tip for the service we experienced.

Germans have butchered the word curry there I've said it, well and truly butchered it. But my rating isn't based on my hate for this food or the germans calling it curry, its based on my experience here. I wont lie i've been to a couple of these places in Frankfurt and like the concept of the different heat levels and challenge of trying to go as hot as you can. I infact on my arrival in Germany refused to believe that Germans know what spicy food is (I still don't to be fair) and a fellow English person and I were taken here and told to order as hot as we can, we asked for the top rating of F (the scale works a-f, a being the mildest f being the hottest, past C you need to be above 18 and if you order f I believe you have to sign a waiver saying any death or injury isn't their fault... you also get a free chocolate milk) we were promptly informed they would only sell us D, we accepted thinking this will be easy, a few bites in and it wasn't bad, then the pain started, I got through half of my sausage, my mate ate all of his and threw up on the way back to the office. If you are partaking in this challenge I recommend getting the toilet roll in the freezer the night before, as the next 24 hours will put your body through some agony. But back to the Eschborn location, the queues are long, the food really isn't tasty even if you order an normally spiced version, you have to stand outside and eat. Also its really expensive for what is essentially sausage, ketchup and curry powder. I suggest walking a little bit further going to Bombay Curry for some really curry.
