My family and I had a photo session with Jessica last month when we were visiting Kona. I reached out to her through her website inquiring about a photo session and her availability while we were visiting. She emailed me back very quickly, and after a brief phone call we settled on a date and I sent her a deposit to hold the date. She was very quick to reply to emails, and updated us on the time to meet for the photoshoot to make the best of the sunset. On the day of the photo session, we met her at the entrance of the location she picked for us. Jessica was very professional and was very patient working with us and our 13 month old son. Jessica made us feel very comfortable and not awkward in front of her camera, and we had a great time during the photoshoot. A few days after the photo session, Jessica sent us a link to preview our photos which we were eagerly waiitng for, and they did not dissapoint. The photos were amazing and we were very happy she captured many great moments of our family. About a week later she sent us a link to the high resolution photos, and there were more photos than we had expected, which was a great bonus. Omg ... words cannot describe how amazing of a photographer Jessica is. Her attention to detail, to capturing MOMENTS, is beyond incredible. There is no doubt she has found what she was meant to do. She delivered more than I could've ever asked for, and more than I even knew I wanted! Being artistic myself I had high expectations ( which honestly I thought would be let down ) but once I met Jessica in person, all doubt left me. She's so easy to connect with, and also makes being behind the camera extremely fun and easy!! ( I never feel comfortable behind the camera, EVER! ) We had the BEST time shooting ever. Jessica photographed our wedding recently on February 29th at Mauna Kea Resort, and her and her partner (Ciara) were both absolutely fantastic to work with :) We met with Jessica a few months before the wedding to talk through all the details and so that she could get to know us a bit more before our special day. She was so professional and asked just the right questions to fully understand what photo poses and shots were most important to us. She also suggested that we adjust the timing of the portraits so that we could get the perfect shots at sunset on the beach, and I'm so glad she did! The final product was outstanding! We had the best mix of portraits, family pics, and candid wedding ceremony and reception pics. We wanted to have family pictures taken while we in Hawaii on vacation in December... We heard about Jessica through a friend and I was a bit worried using someone that I knew nothing about. She was very prompt in answering question in my emails for 2 weeks before we got there and gave us suggestions for locations and what to wear so that we could take the best pics possible. We met her on the beach early in the morning for our pics and she was super friendly and laid back..just like my family and even though her demeanor was very casual, she was very professional and definitely knew what she was doing. There were 10 adults and five children ages 20 months-14 yrs and she was very good at positioning everyone and helping us get the pictures we wanted. I found MyModGallery through Instagram. I had reached out to multiple photographers in Kona, Hawaii for my elopement. Jessica was the most warmest and friendliest person that had responded back (and that was through email!). She is no different in person. She helped recommend a MUA, florist, and videographer. She kept in touch throughout the whole process and I even had sneak peak photos the same night as my elopement. She is creative and even had a plan B for my elopement, something I never thought to have in place. Everyone that has seen our photos has absolutely LOVED it! I truly believe I received more then what I paid for from Jessica's time to the amazing photos!! My boyfriend and I did a mini session with Jessica this winter at Kachess Lake and Jessica did a fantastic job at capturing who we are and how we interact with each other.
