Vanessa is so good at what she does! Every time I come in she comes up with something new, and every single time I walk out saying "okay, this set is my favorite!" The videos I uploaded are the same set under low light and then direct light. An hour later I'm still sitting, no manicure, while my daughter is almost finished and walk in customers are taken care before me. Besides talking about us in Viatnamese, no apologies were offered, and we were told that this is how it works. I left the place, my daughter's shellack is chipped already. I REALLY don't recommend this place. I made an appointment for my mom and I to get our nails done together. When I arrived I was told to sit down and they began with me. My mom sat next to me and they said they would begin with her as well. For 30 min (when I was getting my nails done) no one treated her. She continuously (and nicely) asked if anyone was going to start with her and was shot down every time as they aggressively said "yes yes we will be right with you". I've had acrylics for years and this is the best place I've ever found. Every nail is shaped exactly right with the exact right length corresponding between the nails. I had gotten a new set here about a month ago and I got a fill a week ago I've got the same color as I did before which is white. My nails turn brown which I have never had happened to me and I've been having my nails done for the past 10 years with the same color white. I went in today to tell them what happened and they told me they would not fix my nails they would only fix it if it was broken or chipped. My girls and I have been going for many years... and I have seen 2 bad experiences customers and honestly as a witness, it just felt like cheap people trying to get out of paying for something or trying to get hard working people to give discount prices, (for what I had witnessed with my own eyes as good work). My experience is Vanessa is one of the sweetest persons I have ever met and the grace she showed on these very rare but awkward situations was a real example of how we all could act in tough situations! It has been certified as a part of the Envirostar program ensuring salons and establishments of this nature are up to code and respectable. It is clean, sanitary and pleasant. Yuckity yuck yuck! two stars only because I previously had a good pedi here. Last week came here for a french shellac. The technician (not even the one who did my mani) kept trying to talk me out of the color I wanted (I like colored tips). I HATE when nail people do this. Anyway so the manicure was very, very basic. She trims and files my nail. As she is painting my nails with the second layer of shellac a new girl sits down two chairs over to get a mani. At this point, her manicurist says something to mine in their native language, and my nail lady takes the cuticle pushers, cuters and my nail file and gives it to the other technician to use on the girl. Cleanliness is important to me in a salon, and that will cause me to never return here again. read more

While the nail services are great I ran into a problem with the service. While getting a pedicure my nail technician criticized me for feeding my son formula, having him in daycare, and for the fact that I don't want to have more babies. I am a mother of a 3month old little boy. I work full time as a stage hand to put food on the table and a roof over my sons head. I sleep maybe 3 hours a night so I can work and spend quality time with my son. I left my son with his father for one hour so I could get a pedicure for the first time in 3 years. From some reason I can't find a nail salon on the East side that is CONSISTENTLY good. I've been in this place 3 times. I heard about it from my hair stylist. On first two times I had a good experience. And yes I agree that "Vanessa" is great when she's not answering the phone BUT she is not always will be available to take care of you, it will probably will be another girl. Another issue is that they take walk- ins and because there isn't enough staff they start getting stressed out and rush to finish to take care of the next customer and that effect the quality of their work at least in my case. On my last visit I didn't feel pampered or relaxed.I waited 20 minutes soaking my feet while the water were getting COLD and two girls one of them Vanessa were busy with another customer from the moment I walked Ianthe another customer walked in without an appointment and was treated immediately by one of the girls while I was still waiting. Then came in like a storm young woman apparently one of the employees and five minutes later she thanks me for waiting and start my pedicure. Both pedi+mani were mediocre nothing outstanding. I am not planing to go back and now looking for another alternative place BTW I had an appointment. Cost for Pedi+Mani $35(not included tip). read more

I came in yesterday in desperate need of a manicure. I walked in 15 minutes before closing and Vanessa took me in immediately, despite them being pretty busy! I wanted acrylic nails done but didn't really know what I wanted. She asked me if it was for a special occasion and I said no. But I wanted some bright and fun colors! She told me she will work her magic and she did! She spent so much time on me and even stayed an extra 45 minutes after closing time. This place is incredibly clean and parking was very easy to find. Very conveniently located in a busy plaza. Next time you're in, ask for Vanessa. But beware, she is super popular so schedule as early as you can! I brought my mom here for pedicures a few weeks ago as walk ins. They were polite and able to take us right away. My mom saw the "Senior" special on the wall and decided to to the mani/pedi combo- I had just a pedicure. the pedis were okay- my foot massage was laughable- basically she put lotion on my legs. When it came time to pay, and I asked for a Senior rate for my mom, the girl asked, "how old is she" I responded- "67", to which she replied, "Oh no, senior rate for 70 years and older." I honestly felt that I could have said 80 and she would not have given us the senior rate. Really 70?? Who else has such a high age for Seniors? Needless to say we won't be going back. read more

I recently moved to Bellevue from Colorado, and will be on the hunt for my new nail salon. I went to this nail salon this morning as it was close. Wasn't the worst manicure I've ever had but certainly not the best. Although the technician was polite she barely talked to me and it felt like I was being rushed. I did not have an appointment and waited about 10min to be seen, I wasn't upset by this at all and was pleased they could take me in right away. However upon getting home my nails still feel rough as if they were not fully filed, and they are short of amazing. I'm very happy with my nails! I wish I could show you how they looked before this (they were rough) so my nail tech had her work cut out for her. She communicated with me throughout the whole process about what she was doing/why she was doing it which I really appreciate. The color I chose was really hard to work with, being such a light color, but my nail tech did a great job of making it look amazing! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the salon is a little messy, and picking out my color was uncomfortable (I was given 4 rings of colors that sat in my lap for a long time because there was no where to place them on the counter- and I couldn't really look through them while my nails were being trimmed/prepped) However I'd sit through that any day to get sparkling nails like these! read more

I like it here. It's not a spa, but it's not a dive. What I like best is the ratio of price to quality. I've paid double their price for double the quality (yes it's out there!). But I don't always like to pay that price for my nails, especially a pedicure heading into Fall. So their services are *fine.* Nice even. Nothing fancy, but definitely solid. Vanessa suggested some nice modifications to the design I'd chosen for my nails. She has a good eye. They turned out well. I brought in a Pinterest picture of a design I wanted and she duplicated it. AMAZING! Not only do they do a good job they're so quick! I had a mani and pedi done in 40 minutes with 10 minutes for it to dry! And it doesn't look rushed the polish is down to the cuticle so they're no gap but it's not messy, they shape it prefectly and are so kind if you ask for an adjustment or have a request. read more
