I had gotten a highlight in February 2024. I went in with black hair and asked the beautiful chica, sorry forgot her name, that I wanted to highlight my hair gray, to blend in the grays. She says d she can do it, and explained it will be light but not quite gray. It took me a few hours there, but it was understandable. The service was very pleasant and I felt com and knew I was in good hands. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the outcome was to my satisfaction. My hair was lighter and the blend was so smooth, meaning it wasn't drastic. The price was reasonable and It was worth it. A big shout out to the chica, sorry I wish I remembered her name, Thank you very much. Its unfortunate that it took a bad touch up at classy cuts in Bonney Lake 5/2024 for me to write this much deserved review. I moved to Bonney Lake. **Update** After recommending this salon to many friends, I've come back for an overdue spa day. Lana took care of me again and made my hands and feet look amazing as always. She convinced me to try the SNS dip powder this time since my nails are pretty weak, and the acrylics feel so light and natural. I'm very picky about my nail shapes and designs but Lana worked with me and listened respectfully to every request I had. All in all, everyone , including myself, is obsessed with my nails and I'll definitely be coming back to Lana! Definitely recommend! read more

Lisa made a thirteen year old girl's dream come true. The teen dream was to have the ends of her hair dyed for the first time ever. Lisa talked with my daughter about the cut she wanted and gave her options on her color choice. She then dyed it exactly as my daughter wanted, and did it gently without any bleach, knowing this was her first time with hair dye. Lisa took great care with the entire cut, color, and drying. Bellevue Headlines is a no frills, get what you asked for type of salon which also offers mani/pedis and waxing. You will not see super trendy fashionistas come in and out of here as they seem to cater a lot to the neighborhood which consists of mostly Crossroads Microsoft employees and the like. They accept walk-ins as well as appointments. I recommend making an appointment as this puts you in front of walk-ins and can cut down on your wait time. Kim is our go to stylist here though I have seen others and have been happy. read more

I was on a vacation and was staying in Bellevue for the most part. I had called ahead of time to make sure I could come in and get my hair styled. They said it was totally fine and I arrived 10 minutes or so before my appointment. Unfortunately it seemed like one of those places that didn't write down my name etc. I had to explain to one of staff that I just wanted to get my hair styled and despite explaining that, they thought I came in a for a haircut? All I got was a basic flat iron, but honestly the work was okay for the most part. I'd say average. Eh just wish they would listen better, I'm coming here to pay and get a service done. I have gotten my nails done at many places and I was beyond satisfied with my visits here! I got a pedicure and a shellac manicure and both turned out lovely. The staff there are very friendly, warm, and easy to talk to while not being overbearing. Although the nail section of the salon may look modest, it is completely made up for by the kind and very skilled staff. We were both pleasantly surprised by the hot stone massage which we had never had for a pedicure at any other salon. This is my new go-to salon and I will be recommending it to others! read more

I had lana for my nails and my mother had Kim for her hair coloring. They both were absolutely amazing. It was my first time with acrylics and lana really worked with me to make sure I was comfortable and had the shape and length I wanted. They need more color selection though for gel but they are not primarily a nail place so it makes sense. My moms hair was done beautifully, she looks decades younger. I will start by saying the folks here as SUPER nice, but you better be ready to wait and have nothing else planned. I'd stopped going here 2.33 years ago because Kim made me AND my maid of honor wait 30 minutes when we had an appointment for our hair to be done for my WEDDING that night. I left and did my own hair, after expressing my disbelief at their lack of professionalism and consideration of your client's time. I figured, maybe 2+ years would have corrected her behavior. Incorrect! I arrived at the appointed hour today, only to be politely told by another woman who works here that "she's at the beauty store and should be back in 10 minutes". I was in no rush, so I waited 15. Then I called a new stylist for next week. Kim contacted me after I had left and was all excuses, just like last time. Very disappointed. :( read more

First hair cut since moving to Bellevue from Chicago. Made an appointment with Kim. Honestly, primarily as the location was so convenient. Figured as long as it wasn't super expensive or horribly bad, I couldn't lose. Very happy with the cut by Kim. She took her time, asking me several questions about what I wanted. (I'm unfortunately not articulate about how I want my hair cut, and had brought a photo but it was rather old and my hair is shorter now). I'm very pleased with the cut and the price ($27). I have short hair and went here on the recommendation of a friend for a haircut. There was no wait when I came in. Lisa was my stylist and after I explained what I wanted - a trim and some layering - we went over two options and settled on the one she recommended. I was happy with the results. It's not all fancy like some other places, but if you are looking for just a basic cut (shampoo was not included in mine) and blow dry this is a great place. Mine took about 40 minutes and cost $35. I came here to see how much it would cost to get my lashes done and I was a little shocked to hear they would cost well over $100 which is obviously not what they specialize in. I was about to leave when they said they could cut the cost in half and just do a very natural lash(which is actually what I went for) so I paid $70 and they weren't great, but they also weren't terrible. About a week in they already started falling out and if you ever had lashes they last at least 3 weeks so I was very disappointed. The first woman I talked to was so rude, but the lady who did my lashes was actually very sweet. I wish that was enough to get me back there, but it isn't. read more

Came in for a haircut today before work. Im new to the area so i thought i would give this place a try. Everyone was so nice including Lana, my hair stylist. She did a great job cutting my hair, putting a lot of detail and care into taking care of me even though she had other people waiting for a haircut from her. After moving from Las Vegas, it was difficult to find a new place to get my haircut done. When I got here I was going to a barbershop after 3 failed attempts to get my hair done right, I was about to give up hope and just consider flying to Las Vegas just to get my hair done right by my barber there. However, my wife needed a haircut as well and was looking for about two weeks and finally decided to come here. So when we went I let my wife get her hair done by Kim first, although we came 15 min before closing she took her time doing my wife's hair. She was really friendly and easy to talk to, my wife and her immediately hit it off. She also knew exactly what to do with my wife's hair with little explanation. I knew I needed a haircut too so I went after her and Kim knew without me giving as much explanation like I normally do and she hit it out of the ballpark. My hair has never looked so good and to top it off she does it better than my favorite barber in Las Vegas who I swear by. My wife's haircut and shampoo costs about $30 which is awesome considering Kim's attention to detail. Mine is a rocking deal at $15 which is the price I'm used to in Vegas. I'm writing this review because Kim is amazing. I was hesitant to write one because then she will potentially get a surge of new customers lol. Waited for 30 min for a haircut on a Sunday. Should've never came here in the first place, really regret it. Bad service, the person who washed and cut my hair barely spoke a word of English. And to top it off I don't this this person has ever cut or washed a woman's hair EVER! It was an accident but the guy got water and shampoo in my eyes, all over my face, up my nose and my shirt. The new owner butchered my hair. I'd made an appointment asking for Kim, who always did a good job in the past, but when I arrived the new owner took over the appointment. She asked what length I wanted but seemed to pay no attention to the answer, and proceeded to hack away to create multiple uneven patches, then kept shortening the rest to match so that the end result was much shorter than desired and still a bit uneven. She also changed the price from between when I walked in and when I paid. I saw another customer emerge with uneven hair---she said she was going to stop the hacking and get her cut repaired somewhere else. I'm not going back. read more

The designer is really nice and friendly, but I plaid $60 to cut my hair and do a treatment, and it turns out the haircut is very bad. It was hard to find out at first since he styled it after the haircut, but as soon as I washed and dried the hair by myself, there is a really weird angle and layer that makes my hair looks so strange and horrible. I believed in the designer since he told me he have been a designer for over 30 years, but seems like his 30 years experience is just not working for me I guess. read more

If you ladies are afraid of letting random people touch your eyebrows, you can FULLY trust Mehri, at the salon. She knows the art of eyebrow and does threading, which is by far the best hair removal technique and among the most ancient methods. It is just amazing what she can do! I was desperate to have my eyebrows done by someone who does not wax them and messes up the shape, she is by far the best I have found between Seattle and Bellevue! Would never visit again. I got the worst hair cut and highlights ever and the poorly done highlights were very expensive on the pocket. I had virgin black hair and wanted a balayage/ombre in caramel shade and the result was messy. I got lower half of my hair colored in red brown and the upper half was black. The color transition is not looking natural. I am going to have to redo it at an extra cost. read more

I am Persian and I know the art of threading, in fact, I thread my mom but I cannot do it to myself. It is the best way to remove hair, shape eye brows etc... I usually get threaded in the Middle East because they KNOW how to do it, I tried Avi at Salon Image, she charged me more than a $100!!!! That is ten times the price in the M.E and five times the price of anywhere else! I went to Mehri at the Bellevue Headlines Salon and she did a great job for just $20. Granted you can find many many cheap threading places in Vancouver, Seattle is definitely the opposite! I suggest Mehri over Avi anytime! read more
