So I've been going here for a while and typically very nice service and good variety and prices…read more Today I went in to get a few bottles and they packed my bottles in a brown paper bag. I took it thinking nothing of it. I take the bottle to my car and the bag is fine. I went to take them to my house and the bag breaks and two of the three bottles fell on the floor resulting in it shattering and my food being cut up and bleeding. So I called them and was informed that because of NY law they could only get those bags and they have signs saying that the bag are not that strong. Which is perfectly fine as I know a few stores that do that but I replied that they can also inform their customers of this because I didn't see the sign. The guy who picked up the phone keep on making the excuses of the sign and honestly that just got me very upset. Ok you have a sign. I am telling you that I did not see the sign. It take 5 seconds to say, "Hey we are putting them in these bags but warning they are not that strong" and avoid this whole situation - which I know because I've done it in my own previous jobs! I wasn't even calling for refunds or anything. I was calling to get them to inform their customers of this problem because what if it injured me worst than a few scratches all over my foot? It is little things like that which show how much you care or don't care for your customers. Now I don't plan to come back here unless I have to, or if I can find the soju products elsewhere, never again.

When I arrived home, I noticed that in the fancy box it comes in one of the bottles had a half broken seal and was leaking. Those were the only two bottles in stock and they refuse to initially exchange. They later agreed to exchange, however only with a same item that would not arrive in time for a Christmas gift. I tried to exchange for another item of equal or more value, expecting to pay the difference but they would not work with me. I had to go to another liquor store in order to buy the same bottle to give as a gift and out money now. They are really making me go out of my way to dispute the charge on my credit card at this point. Awful way of doing business, especially during the stressful holiday season. There are better locations you can shop at. ****After initiating a credit card dispute and placing this negative review, the business issued a prompt refund which was applied towards another bottle in stock.
