I overheard them telling a lady that they were out of apple juice but could make up fresh juice, you get served these massive shakes with no serviettes or spoons to help you out and their eftpos machine wasn't working. I am a lite eater in the morning so I could only finish half but if you're a breakfast person, you'll find the portion content. The Coffee Mocha was delicious though adding an extra shot of espresso to it made it much better than original mocha. The chocolate was overpowering the coffee without that extra shot. No complaints there because I like hot chocolate too, just wanted more on the coffee side. Place was nice and clean and the service was good. Definitely recommend it.

I had a flat white ($3.50) bacon and egg panini ($10) and Tella Ball Shake ($10) at 930am...why? I don't know why, but why not? I consumed my calories for the day in one meal but I have no regrets. The panini was alright, had a little too much bread action going...the same can be somewhat said for the shake. The shake itself was great, the tella ball was just OK...didn't taste much like a doughnut and the nutella/bread ratio was off, unless you were eating straight from the middle. She said the most popular item all year round is their almond croissant, filled with an almond frangipane, but her personal favorite at the time was the seasonal Hazelnut Praline Brioche. Given that this is something you don't see at any ordinary bakery, I couldn't resist and you could say she talked me into it! My second choice would have been their handheld apple pie with its perfect lattice and caramelized sugar on top. The HAZELNUT PRALINE BRIOCHE (A$12) was essentially a light airy donut filled with a smooth chocolate hazelnut cream that tasted like a Ferrero Rocher. The amount of filling was generous and oozed out with every bite... I could have eaten spoonfuls of the filling just by itself! A slightly crunchy praline crumb topping gave it a crisp cap. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of this brioche as it wasn't too rich nor too sweet. I also got a flat white coffee which was good, hot and paired nicely with my brioche. My mom got their seasonal lemon monkey bread which she said was just okay. It didn't have that cinnamon gooeyness that one would normally expect in this type of dessert. Similarly, they also offered a lemon vanilla custard tart which my sister enjoyed. Oddly, it was labeled only as a "vanilla tart" on the display, which is a little misleading, especially for anyone who's not a fan of citrus. This cafe has a nice open air seating area with ample space, a couple seats at the coffee counter and some seats outside.
