My daughter started going to Kumon Valencia when she was 3 years old at Me. Rafael's first location…read morenear the mall. The staff were so patient. She used to be so small that she could just run through the classroom under the tables without having to duck during fist couple of sessions. They were able to instill great work habits and work skills in her. It was hard at times to make her do homework, but going to the center consistently and communicating with Mr. Rafael and the staff has encouraged her to keep working. We moved to Kumon CC with Ms. D when we moved to a new place, but she has brought the established work skills and study habits with her. She delivered her speech at her sixth grade graduation recently and graduated with honors. She is now working on level L (logarithmic functions and on) and she is very motivated in finishing the program. I thank both Kumon centers for giving her the tools to succeed in school and be very goal oriented. She wants to be a neurosurgeon or a nurse when she grows up. She now volunteers at Ms. Bea's center and loves it. She grades worksheets and loves shadowing assistants at the early learners' tables.
