McGregor's Restaurant at Mydland Market is very good. Beautiful modern restaurant in a nice residential neighborhood off of West 5th Street - friendly service. They've recently dropped their prices and are very focused on service. Very good salads (chicken Caesar is a standout). Good burgers, wings, chicken fried chicken, great waffle fries. Some regular tables and booths as well. In the summer they have great Mountain View tables. Even a roof deck with live music on some occasions. Fun place. Nice bar too. We stopped here for a quick dinner on our way to a meeting. Based on Yelp reviews it looked like a place we might enjoy, and it was AMAZING. It's very welcoming, the staff was wonderful, the food was OUTSTANDING. They were literally in the middle of a menu change so there were a couple of things we wanted to get but couldn't. We finally settled on chicken tacos (phenomenal, perfectly spicy, perfectly cooked). The drinks were spectacular and the bar tender was super friendly and helpful. I have been here at least a dozen times this past year. The food is good, cooked to order, and made with good quality food products. The drinks have been very good and good size pours. Such a nice- off the beaten path- restaurant in Sheridan, WY! We stopped here in our way to Yellowstone from Mount Rushmore! Everything seemed brand new & the menu was perfect! Been here before and it was pretty awesome. Since management has changed, don't bother! The food is not good. Portions are way too small for the price and if you complain they treat you like crap! I wouldn't have written a review but the manager was rude and didn't show a bit of concern. The wait staff was good but will not be coming back. Would give 0 stars if I could. read more
