A very Wyoming style casual, friendly, and energetic bar and grill. Just had a casual pleasant "business" lunch here. The server was happy, friendly, and fast. The $16 BBQ Beef Brisket was pretty good, the beef brisket is house made with a lovely nice smoky flavor. Wish had just a tad more meat cause it was delicious. Can I give Sheridan some praise for having an amazing bar and grill? Why yes, yes I can and this place was thee place to stop after a LONG day of driving! Sat inside since we were a larger group (they do have outside seating so maybe next time). TV's everywhere with sports and other options. Easy going atmosphere and music playing. Waitress took our orders and food was out pretty quickly. Definitely recommend the BLT (get me that bacon LOL)! read more

We stopped here on our road trip to grab lunch, and it was a nice casual spot. Tried the Santa Fe grilled chicken sandwich w homemade chips and the queso beef burrito w chips & salsa. Both were ok, queso burrito was tasty but seemed to have just a small amount of queso in it, and they gave us fries instead of chips & salsa. We were hungry so we didn't ask to correct it. This is a well established place off of main st. Across from the post office, we came for dinner and a brew.. we chose to sit on the covered deck to get some fresh air.. Our server adjusted the fan to keep the ever present summer flies at bay. I ordered a burger that was supposed to be cooked medium but was more like medium well but still tasted good and wasn't dried out. The wife had fish and shrimp both of us chose the house potato chips that were crispy and seasoned well. This will be an uncharacteristically boring review to match my limited time in Sheridan, WY. Don't be fooled by the three stars; I actually liked it here and would return. Great, friendly service and hopping on Friday night, which is quite the contrast to everything around it, which was as quiet and barren as an abandoned ghost town in Tombstone, AZ. I ordered the homemade creamy chicken noodle soup, which was the thickest soup I've ever had in my life, but it was good on a cold and icy night. A blue cheese and bacon half-pound steak burger followed, which was dry but overall was decent, with a generous side of fries included. Simply put, this is a happening downtown bar that offers pretty standard bar food with solid service. I'm sure if I was there I to drink, I'd give it a higher review, but I was only there for a quick dinner. Yawn. Even I'M bored by my review, and I wrote it. read more

The food is to be expected; the menu is mainly fried foods which have a familiar taste. The waitresses are sweet and the food comes out fast. If you sit inside, the restaurant can get kind of noisy. But they do play sports on all tvs so you can watch any game any time. An easy dinner or lunch from a predictable spot that will be an expected meal. read more

We were looking for a place to watch a Utah Jazz playoff game. Checked Yelp and Google and came up with the Pony Bar & Grill. Most of the bad reviews we saw were in relation to the service. We ordered the nachos for an appetizer. I ordered the prime rib sandwich no bun for dinner with a side of coleslaw. Prime rib was ok. Service was great and the drinks were flowing. Went here for lunch today and had their Shrimp Po Boy special. They sautéed the shrimp in a sauce which had a little bit of Cajun-type kick to it. Excellent lunch. I'll have to go back and try dinner with a cold beer at some point when I'm back in Sheridan. read more
