I got the scratch resistant coating on my lenses, but within a couple of months they had several scratches on them even though I was careful with them & only used a lens cleaning cloth. When I went in to inquire about getting the scratches fixed since I'd purchased the special coating, the woman told me rather curtly that they don't fix them, but order new ones & that would cost me $40. She seemed like she had no time to deal with me although I was the only one in the store. I also told them twice that I was not satisfied with my frames because they did not fit on my nose properly & was offered no solution in order to fix that problem either. They told me I would "get used to them" -- I assured them I was used to them, they didn't fit properly. Both times that I went into the office to ask for help, an officer worker named Angie was rude to me & failed to be the least bit attentive or helpful. I then called & spoke with John & although he was a little nicer, he was not helpful either. So now I have expensive glasses that I don't like, that don't fit well, & that are scratched. I will not return & cannot recommend Columbus Optical, unfortunately. I hate my ill-fitting, scratched glasses & the customer service is just awful.

No notice of his retirement to come in and get your records. Just a letter to the editor reliving his history and the next day he disappears. Took the records with him. Now as someone with an eye disease I have to start all over. I went in to discuss and after a few minutes dancing around I was told that it sure is a bummer. More like unethical. I don't care how many decades they have been in business that is some of the poorest service I've received anywhere.
