Glasses came in about a week or so, about normal for my prescription, sometimes it takes two. One Lense was made the wrong prescription, so the glasses were sent back to be remade. Was told it would be about a week or so till they got back. THAT WAS TWO MONTHS AGO! I'm an overly patient person so some of the blame lies with me. I've been wearing glasses for over 50 years so when you tell me that the "manufacturer" says my lense is on "backorder", I have a hard time believing you. I've been calling every two weeks and every update to date has been less than accurate. Was recently told that they should be in by the end of the week. That was 2 weeks ago now going on 3. I'm an OTR truck driver so this experience has been less than stellar. I don't know if I'll ever get them at this point and so much time has passed I think I'd rather have a refund so I can take my chances elsewhere.

I had an appointment just before July 4th for an eye exam, I new because of the holiday that…read moregetting my glasses would take a little longer, eventually, someone called and said the lens cracked while grinding it, (I believe he was just stalling for time) so they had to order new ones, weeks went by, then they called again, and said they were ready, I went there and tried them on, I couldn't' see a thing. The gentleman in the back, took my old glasses and the new glasses and tested them, he came back out and stated the doctor wrote down a prescription wrong, and they would have to re-order the lenses again. I eventually called up there and made the statement that it has been a month, and I still don't have my glasses, a few days later they called again and said they were ready, I went up there and picked them up, I did not wear them at that time, I wanted to wait until I got home so my eyes could adjust to them. I quickly realized there was several things wrong, The first one was the lens on the right side was not properly ground and did not fit the frame right, in fact, it wasn't even touching the frame, The next thing I noticed, I could see well out of the top portion of the lenses, but the bottom portion was blurry, I thought maybe my eyes needed to adjust, but after two weeks, I had nothing but eyestrain and headaches, I think that's because the doctor did not do a closeup vision test, just the distance test. On top of that, I noticed the frames they gave me, were not the frames that I gave them, I gave them a pair of brooks brothers titanium half rim Gray frames, they gave me a pair of shiny metal frames just like the ones that I'm already wearing , they are exactly the same ones. I took the glasses to the office manager on the doctor side, I told her what was going on with the blurry vision, and that I had ordered transitions, a long with anti-scratch, and anti-glare, I told her at that time that these were not the frames that I gave them, and for her to look at them, she noticed they were shiny metal just like the ones that I was wearing. She also made the observation at the lenses already had scratches on them, I told her I was aware, and that I paid for the anti-scratch coating, apparently I didn't get that, The office manager stated she will let the doctor know and call me herself the next day. The office manager on the doctor side did not call me, but the guy in the glasses side did, he asked if I wanted to make another appointment to see the doctor because the prescription was obviously wrong, I said no, it's been six weeks, I just want my money back. Then I asked him what happened to the pair of frames I left there, he said he didn't know what I was talking about, I told him the frames that they gave me were not the frames that I left there, and that they had switched them out, he adamantly denied this, He stated we don't sell that brand. There was no way that they could be switched out for another pair. I told him that you could have bought some on eBay. There's three pairs on there right now just like them, he just kept stating that the frames were the ones I left there, he told me my frames are ready to be picked up, I could come and get them at anytime. I went there to pick them up, too girls were sitting behind the counter, I told them I was there to pick up my frames, The gentleman came from outback and brought them with him and handed them to me, there was not one person in the store, no one at all, then he stated they will mail me a check, none of them were very friendly. I opened up the frame case and looked inside, much to my surprise the frames that I originally dropped off were in there, The gray Brooks Brothers titanium frames, I guess they just magically reappeared once I confronted him about where they went, see enclosed picture, obviously, the gentleman with the white glasses wanted them worse than I did because he's the only one that I had discuss it with, The two girls knew nothing about it, I guess I should probably file a police report on it, just in case this happens to someone else, since no one cares to follow up on it. You can confirm this with your office manager that these are not the frames I had showed her the day before, and that I did tell her, they were not the frames that I left there.
