I contacted Mylan maybe 3 months ago regarding their terrible blister packaging on Tapentadol tablets. Its impossible to get them out without breaking them. I'm arthritic they really hurt my fingers because the blister are soooo thick. They said they would look into it but haven't, just fobbed me off. Now that I have found some reviews on this patch I know I am not crazy. A friend of mine gave me some of these patches he got them for free since he is on Medicaid and they gave him a case and he doesn't need to use them anymore and knows I buy Salonpas. I use them when I do yardwork and I'm trying to put one on and wondering how does this patch stick to you? I thought I wasn't opening them correctly I'm on my third one and went online to see if I was doing something wrong but I guess from reading these reviews they just suck. So instead of being frustrated I will just throw them out. To be fair he has probably had them for more than 2 or 3 years since that is when he needed them from an operation to remove cancer. This should be a 0 for their Mylan 5 % lidocaine patch. I do not know why a pharmacy thinks it is ok to substitute this patch instead of the Endo Par pharma patch which is a good patch. 1. This defective patch tries to roll when applying and is very thin and crinkly 2. This defective patch buckles within 10 min of wearing 3. This defective patch has little to no adhesive, bunching up and for the low back falling in the toilet. 4. This defective patch does NOT give pain relief at the level of a 5% patch certainly not at the level of the 5 % Endo Par Pharma patch and truthfully not as much as many 4 % over the counter patches 4. This patch in drug reviews has ratings of 1.9 not out of 5 but out of 10 and 4.4 out of 10 and in this last review the categories were separately scored which artificially increased the rating. I've used lido patches before from this company that were made of cloth that worked perfectly but as every bid pharma company does they cheap out and change the product to save a buck!! I want to report a serious problem I have with Mylan in Italy. They produce and distribute a drug called Talofen (Promazina is the basic substance) that is used in Alzeheimer patients to help keep them quiet. My mom, 81 years old, is sick and the doctor started her with this, mid-December. Now, this drug disappeared from all pharmacies in Milan and it is not possible to find it. I called Mylan and they say they are out of stock and cannot do a thing to help us. They told me it is not possible to buy it till March, 10th. This is a joke. There is no substitute for this drug and changing drugs to these kinds of patients is a big issue. I hate that Mylan has such an unprofessional behaviour and invite all users to think before starting using their products. Also shareholders please do not trust this company. read more

The Mylan lidocaine patches don't work! They are flimsy pieces of plastic, not cloth, that don't stick well and thus your skin can't adequately absorb the lidocaine. They provide no pain relief whatsoever. Seriously, any $10 over the counter version is significantly better. Also I was told these also had an icy-hot component but that's not true either. They also have big bold words written across the patch so if you don't have clothes over it, everyone sees the label. If you do wear clothes over it, they catch on the plastic every time you move and become dislodged. It's the single most horrible product I've ever purchased and neither CVS nor Mylan will provide any sort of assistance. read more

I got a Rx for the Lidocaine patches, even after insurance paid I pay $30.00 They are useless, do not stick at all. I have had other patches that work just fine, so I know the difference. I have used 4% lidocaine patches made by several manufacturers for several months with good results. I was told the 5% prescription ones were even more effective so had my doctor right it up. I was given ones made by Mylan. These are the worst ones I've ever used. Even the ones made by Walmart were twice as good as these. The first one I used fell off within an hour. I'm out $74 and have a box of useless patches. They get a 0 rating. I want my money back!! read more

I have had many problems with my Estradiol Transdermal System patches sticking. I can't even put them on my backside since they fall off easier there than the front side. My Cigna health plan charges me a lot of money for these and they seldom match up with the progesterone I take. When I do get a patch that sticks, it leaves a bad residue that is difficult to remove. The company needs to work on a solution to this problem. They are earning a lot of money and making a unsatisfactory product. The directions say if the patch falls off, put another patch on. Your Lidocaine patches suck the big one!! I have to use these with tape. I have used Lidocaine patches in the past ( not your brand) and I have NEVER had this much trouble with them. They stick for maybe 5 minutes if your lucky and you have to wear these for 12 hours??? I use paper tape to make them stick because my skin would be raw if I used another kind. There's really no place to leave reviews for a pharma manufacturer as a whole. So, I thought I'd chime in here in the unlikely event someone will read this before filling a Mylan RX. This company makes the absolute worst generics. This is immediately obvious simply by the fact their pills are usually larger and harder/more plasticky (extra filler/binders that are characteristic of cheaply made drugs). Their zolpidem and hydromorphone generics are particularly bad. Good pharmacies will usually only use this brand when their normal supplier is out of stock. The best course of action is to transfer your prescription to another pharmacy with a good generic in stock. It's an inconvenience, but well worth it. read more

I have been in pharmacy for over 9 years, and this is by far the worst pharmaceutical company I have ever dealt with. They will not assign a pharmaceutical representative to our office no matter how many times we've requested one, as we deal with many of their drugs. TWICE I've placed an order for samples of a specific product for an elderly patient to try before purchasing (for over $300, mind you) and they never sent them. Whenever I've called to inquire about where my delivery is, they either leave me on hold for over an hour until I can't hold anymore, tell me they are 'in a meeting', take down my name & number and never call me back, and the excuses go on and on. Very safe to say our office will not be recommending their products any longer. Mylan purchased rights to EpiPen in 2007, a time when EpiPen was $50 per injector... and slowly raised it to $600 per 2 pack. Epinephrine was discovered in the late 1800's. The injector pens were first designed, experimentally, in the 1970's and began being used in the 1980's. Mylan has a Lidocaine Patch 5% that is totally ineffective. I know you want to develop a truly cheap patch but this is an embrassament to Mylan. It seems to be made of rough material, maybe papper and plastic and is uncomfortable on the skin and makes you itchy. Most importantly, it is not adhesive and doesnt stay on. It also folds and wrapped onto itself when you take it from the package. If this is made in America....then we dont have much to be proud of. Listen many of us are inpain. Dont mess with us. I just spent a long, frustrating phone conversation with "Din", a female who said she is a pharmacist and gave me a case # of MIR-2019-2722. My question involved TOBI inhalation solution, NDC 0078-0494-71. There are different instructions on how to sterilize the nebulizer after use on the information from Mylan (Boil in water for 10min.) and the information from the nebulizer manufacturer (Boil in water for 5min.). She read a section from the package insert (which I have, and have read thoroughly), but had nothing further. I asked for someone else to help me and she said no one else had additional information! The Lidocaine Patch is totally useless. I am not sure how can get theses exchanged for those made by Watson which are good. The Mylan patch falls of almost immediately and itches. I am taking these and Watson brand to pain management doctor and CVS tomorrow. Perhaps the doctor can ask specifically for Watson brand. All the Mylan brand I purchases are worthless.
