I quizzed the front desk about the new policy and the told me I could get 1/3 yard but would have to the price of a 1/2 yard. What a lame policy. I've spent plenty of money at patio town not anymore. I guess I will keep doing my business with Site One where they sell by weight. At least you get exactly what you pay for. Not open on Sundays but I guess I can wait a day and save some money.

Asked for a $150 more on top of the $650 I was quoted, which was fine because it was a big job and $650 was already by far the best deal I'd found. Paid via Zelle. - Cut up logs and stumps with a chainsaw and used a tarp and wheelbarrow to move all the stuff across half an acre. - Polite, expedient, considerate. I fed him lunch and coffee and water. I wouldn't hesitate to have these dudes back.

But the result was much more, the variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, (some bearing berries for birds) is the envy of the entire neighborhood. The plants have matured into a planned "painting" of contrasting foliage. My experience is that money spent outside of the house goes further than remodel money spent inside...maybe it is the "alive" thing that plants have. Diana, the owner of Trio Landscaping, was excellent to work with. She spent a lot of time getting a good understanding of our budget and what we wanted before she created a plan and sent it to us. We had several zoom calls discussing the plan and making minor revisions to ensure it met our needs. Her design is spot on for our space. We were out of town the week the construction took place and came back to a completely new backyard! It has transformed the way we spend time in the back yard - hanging out with friends, grilling and just reading and relaxing. I now have a backyard I am proud to show off. They did a decent job on that so i expanded the scope and had them do three more gardens. They were to pull out all weeds, and put down weed suppression mats. It looked great and clean until this spring when their shoddy work was exposed. Weeds coming up everywhere. John, the face of the company, is a nice guy but he made lots of promises he's since broken. They made a huge mistake and ripped out HALF of a huge established perennial garden. TERRIBLE. They said they'd reimburse me for replacement plants and plant them. They did but literally NOT ONE came back this spring. I've never had this issue with plants i install. Last month i had to contact John 4 times before he responded. He assured me they'd make it right but has since ghosted me. I feel very deceived. We paid lots of money and have little to show for it. Half the reason i hired them was because they were a scrappy start-up, John seemed trustworthy and i wanted to support them. Never again.

**Avoid This Place at All Costs - Dishonest and Unethical**…read more I've been a customer for years and have spent over **$40,000** at Sam's, but I can no longer stay silent about their shady practices. They pretend to be trustworthy, but they're nothing more than **rip-off artists**. Recently, I took my **deck boat** in for bellows replacement and a possible bilge pump issue. They tried charging me **$3,600**, claiming I also needed a U-joint and resealing. I got a second opinion from another mechanic who completed the job for **$1,100** and confirmed **none of those extra "repairs" were necessary**. Even worse, they'll **hold your boat hostage** and charge you for work they didn't do. They sent me an **$180 invoice** for absolutely nothing--just for keeping my boat there. This is **not how you treat a loyal customer** who has spent tens of thousands with your business. **STAY AWAY.** They'll **invent problems** to overcharge you and refuse to release your boat unless you pay up. **Total scam.** in the end , I got my boat fixed with gimble bearing, bellows and bilge pump done at Bumps marine in Lester prairie for $1350, so the $3600 price tag Sam's tried to get me for was a total lie to get more money from me . So much for thinking I was a valued customer after spending 40k with them over the past 3 years.
