The owner called and kept me updated . He also let me know of an upcoming oil change , he never pressured me to do it just let me know if I wanted to get it done he could do it then or schedule an appointment when it was due. Also chose this one because they are in business long, and are certified in all different mechanics. Anyways walked in here with my dad, and both the female and male who was the owner, were very nice and answered my dads questions. The reason why we didn't ultimately bring the car here is because of an insurance issue, as progressive didn't list them after we filed our claim and wanted an estimate which involved a vehicle inspection in which we did for the claim. Despite their website saying that they accept most insurances. But doesn't rule them out completely, maybe well use them for non insurance work if needed or for something else!

I stopped at an O'reilly auto parts store to begin diagnosis. The truck was not throwing any codes so i was baffled. I didn't make it very far when we left and it overheated and i pulled over in front of a shop which was fortunate for us. The shop wanted to charge an arm and a leg just to diagnose it but they did use a diagnostic tool and the verdict was there was air in the engine coolant system. We had to get a hotel room again for the night. I was not happy that the shop wanted to charge me $250 to install a thermostat and bleed the coolant system so i looked up mobile mechanics. Drew was the first to reply. Mind you i was trying this at 9pm. We had a conversation on Yelp then exchanged phone numbers, Drew offered to come tonight to see if we could get it running properly so we could begin our 1100 mile trek in the morning. i gave him a hundred dollars to buy a thermostat and antifreeze. He did come and try that night but it started getting pretty late so we made arrangements for him to come back first thing in the morning. he came back at 8 am as promised and proceeded to do the job which he did very quickly. The thermostat was not the problem. It was still overheating. Around noontime we decided it was the water pump. Again we got the pump and he installed it very quickly. The whole fiasco cost me $500 but had i had that shop do the work there is no doubt it would have costed me much more! I am very thankful and grateful that the Earth is inhabited by fellas that have a heart and consciousness and compassion. He s tuck with me all morning until my truck was running properly. I highly reccommend this service for anyone needing something don very quickly. It was nice getting to know Drew and now we each have another friend, Blessings to you Drew!
