This is in regard to the service Dept. Update... The service Manager saw my review and called and said he wanted to make things right. They picked up the Bike yesterday and I am a half hour away from the dealership so this is a significant gesture. I will update again once I have the motorcycle back I will make a final updated rating. I brought a 2006 Kawasaki 250 KLX in for new tires, plugs and an oil change. I was quoted $600 to $650. It seemed a bit steep but at $165 an hour labor charge the math seemed about right. I just got the bike back and now there is a fuel leak evidenced by the drips below the bike and the smell. In addition, there is a bolt that was left off and put in the saddle bag without informing me or any explanation. And to top it all off my total bill out the door was over $1022 after an estimate of 600 to $650. 57% over estimate seems like a problem to me. read more

On it in for a service and give you back one that barely runs now while taking zero accountability and tell you the issues are now above their capabilities to diagnose and repair. And refuse to assist with getting it repaired. They forgot to reconnect spark plugs, it won't idle and not running on all 6 cylinders now. Do not buy a used motorcycle here. They take trades, but don't even clean them up before they list them for sale. I bought one that would not start. After 2 hours with a new battery and charging it they filled it with gas, handed me a charger, and said don't shut it off until you get home. After 30 days I was able to start it and took it back. When I unloaded it, it would not start. If you see a 2005 BMW K1200LT don't buy it. You will be screwed. read more

Bought a bike from this place in November, after dealing with a terrible salesman (Davin), who decided to tell my parents who were with me buying this bike, all the illegal things you can do on it and all the past charges he personally accrued(?). Davin also told me I'd have the bike by the end of the week I bought it, and keep in touch throughout the week. I did not get a single call from them until a month later saying it was ready. Through out the time of waiting in the dark for my bike I called a lot and eventually got up with Davin, he said "if you're that pressed to ride it, you can pick it up when the part ships" Granted the bike had a recall, but telling me it was to be ready by the end of the week when Kawasaki had not even made the part yet for the recall, it seems like he just wanted to make a sale. I called many times between then and was always given attitude and the lady trying to "help" suggested I just bought a newer bike. It's very clear they only care about making a sale and once that sale is complete, you won't hear from them. I called many of times trying to get in touch with a manager but every time he happened to be at a meeting or at lunch and nobody could give me any info on him. I left this company alone for a month or so because it seems after all the lying and getting screwed over, nothing would come of it and it would fade away. Until recently when trying to get a hard plate for my bike I learned the bikes registration had not been transferred into my name. I was hit with a fine for that, they didn't seem so care, naturally I called and was unable to get up with a manager. After calling recently revolving my registration and plate, I was told that the issue had been fixed,,, the issue being my registration. They had nearly 3 months to do this, and ive been riding it for about 2 months, with a messed up registration. I write this in hopes if your thinking about going to redline, it is the worst deicison you can make, this place has stressed me out to death and jeopardized me getting in legal trouble. I didn't mention the online prices being drastically lower than what they'll try to get you to pay but that's irrelevant. I hope a manager sees this, because wow, this place is terrible. I havnt even scratched the surface with this review, so many more red flags that I didn't mention. I've told this story to countless employees just so they'd pretend to get the manager, I've had 3 people tell me he'd be calling me and well, it's been months. I bought a used Ducati Multistrada V4 S, put a couple thousand miles on it in a short few weeks and then noticed that the front forks were leaking oil. Taylor at Redline told me they would take care of it. They picked up the bike and completely rebuilt the forks with the needed new seals. We brought our boat in for a regular service of the engine. We thought because they were a Yamaha dealer that they would be the best place to bring it to and the engine worked great, it just needed maintenance which should be easy. Nope. We paid our bill and brought our boat to the water and it putts and doesn't run. We opened the engine and found they hadn't pushed in the spark plugs and now they are full of water because we had put it in the water. Their mechanic comes out with new spark plugs and it still doesn't run. The mechanic then tells us that he doesn't work on boats, he works on ski dos and he would have told the service department to not take the boat in if he were there when we dropped it off. Furthermore, he said he wasn't there when the spark plugs came in, and he is the only mechanic, so someone else did it. WHAT??????? Disgusting! I'm now waiting for a reply because we are due the money we spent on the service that wasn't done properly and we are due the money that it will take to repair the engine with someone else now, and we are due the monthly storage of the boat since we haven't been able to use it in a month so far. Of course, no one is calling me back and we should have read the reviews but it was just a maintenance so it shouldn't have been a problem, but we now have a floating trailer. There are more reputable dealers to choose from, buyer beware. I'd give this dealership a zero star rating but one star is the least you can give. I was lied to about a full Akropovic exhaust (2500.00 value) on a 2024 Superduke 1390, turned out 3 weeks later they provided documentation, it was a slipon. Also a tech pack that was to be installed for free (1100.00 value) it was all right there on the buyer's invoice, 2905.11 dealer added accessories. At the time, I realized they are really getting about 500.00 for the tech pack since the exhaust was worth about 2500.00. an Akropovic slipon is worth 1500.00. I let them process the tag, I got a temporary tag and it expired yesterday after a month and two weeks. I went to my local DMV and they had no record of the dealer sending them anything. The DMV suggested I call the dealership and "tell them they need to get off their a**" I called and got a story line, they sent it out last week and was working through documentation some as far back as December, I bought mine January 24th. I paid 24,500.00 out the door for a bike that was advertised for 19,999.00 on their website but when I called they had put a full Akropovic exhaust on it and it went sour from there with this dealership. Mysteriously they did not have the stock exhaust they took off. Oh they did help me load the bike on my truck, I thank them for that. read more

Horrible markups on Motorcycles. Horrible Customer Service. Slimy Practices. Called the store looking for a specific bike and they told me they had one. It was just off the truck and had not been assembled yet. I wanted to buy it then and there but they had me come in since the bike was not assembled, I assumed that meant I could not buy it over the phone because it was not assembled and inspected. Once I drove the 3+ hours to this location the bike I wanted had a 'sold' sticker on it but they acted like It was mine while in the shop. They kept having me look at multiple other bikes but I told them multiple times I wanted the specific bike I came in for. We then started the paperwork to start the purchase process. Once we got to the price they wanted over $12,000 for a bike that has an MSRP of $8,000. Over 50% MARKUP! Then when I was talking price telling them I did not want to pay the markup they told me the bike I wanted was actually sold to someone else but they were "PreApproving me for another motorcycle" This company is a joke. They pulled my credit for a 7900.00 jet ski which ended up being $$12000.00 after all the little fees and charges, I also told them the payment range I wanted, they came back telling me I was approved with a really low interest rate with Payments almost twice what I originally wanted. DO NOT TAKE YOUR MOTORCYCLE HERE FOR SERVICE!!! I bought a 2022 KTM RC 390 here and after 6 months it had a ECU failure. I took it in for repair since it was under warranty and they could not find the problem. After 5 or 6 months of taking the bike in and out of the shop they "finally had the parts to fix it." I took it in for them to fix it and i get a call from them about 3 or 4 days later and they said they WRECKED my bike. According to JOHN, they were going to get me into a new motrocycle and they did not. He just kept saying that they working on it and made my own insurance cover it, even though they wrecked it on a "TEST DRIVE".If you take your bike her for service just be aware that you are not covered, you bring it in at your own risk. They will not take resposability for wrecking your precious motorcycle. read more

Purchased a new bike at end of December 2023, paid in full at time of purchase. Never received my plate, temporary tag expired. Asked John, my salesman whats going on and he had no answers. Spoke with Glenn and only answer is "sometimes there is DMV delay" and he issued 2nd temp tag. 2 days later I get the property tax bill for the permanent plate. Turns out they registered/titled the bike to someone else! Avoid this dealership at all costs. They are great to deal with while they are taking your money, horrible after. DO NOT FINANCE ANYTHING FROM THEM. RUN AWAY DONT WALK... Was told out the door pricing would be $12,500 actually was almost $18,000. Purchased the GAP/Torque protection and have been going in circles since May! Its September... I have called Redline and have been put on hold and transferred so many times I have lost count. They use Synchrony Bank, Redline calls them Syn"crony!" Now I know why. They don't have an online app or portal for people who purchase Redlines stuff. Bike was considered a total loss in May. In order for the GAP to kick in you must call Synchrony Bank and wait 10 days for them to only mail you a balance sheet. By that time, you have already paid them multiple times to keep your credit in good standing. So you have to keep calling for new statements to give the GAP people. Then the GAP people make you get multiple copies of all this information that Redline supposedly does not have or won't give you! After waiting months and months the insurance paid for the total loss, then Redline must subtract all these extras from their side all the while I'm still making payments. At this point I have an overpayment. Then Torque/GAP company sends the overpayment back to Redline! WHAT?? I already paid Redline the day I bought the Bike! why would you send them the refund check??? My thinking, Redline, Synchrony Bank and The Torque/Gap group are all working together to make a GAP claim nearly impossible to submit. After I get my refund check, I will be calling the Better Business Bureau. read more

Inept. On so many levels .... My husband called and talked to Glen .. even had him email us information about the utv we were looking at.. I have been looking at them on line and was so excited to actual touch and look at it. We told Glen we were coming. Yet when we arrive no recognition of correspondence until my husband showed him his email to us...My husband goes to find Glen while I look at ( what I though was my new ride). On closer inspection passenger seat had a tear and the seatbelt had a stain. The decals were pealing off. I still wanted to ride it. Glen goes off to find the keys. We just purchased our 3rd bike from here within a year. Always a good selection, they update the showroom quite often. Taylor was able to work with the sales manager to get us a great deal on the ATV we wanted. We did have a trade in that Greg in service was able to look over, Greg also checked the warehouse for a specific color we wanted which he found and pulled out to have built the same day. I came back later in the day, as promised Greg had our new ATV built and ready to roll. To the business owner: Trying to give redline a chance despite all the terrible reviews. You have a USED rzr priced 1,000 over the price of a brand new one. With missing interior parts and scratches. I came with the asking price in cash no finance necessary. And your manager wouldn't even start this machine up and prove that it will go into gear before we sign papers to buy the machine. Now I realize why this machine has been there since at least october 2020. Your reasoning for one of your employees not to drive the rzr around the parking lot was that it doesn't belong on the pavement and that it would require you to replace the spark plugs after starting. And it wasn't wet conditions outside so save that reply. You have side by side parked on the sidewalk outside. Very ridiculous and I doubt you will ever sell that USED machine for $1000 over new price. Future customers: I would avoid this place at all cost. All the bad reviews you read here are 100% accurate. Don't know how this place is in business. I'd suggest rockingham sportcycles. Called them once leaving redline and they value their customers and have a side by side BRAND NEW that they are putting the oil in for us to come get. They told us we could drive around the parking lot even though we aren't since it's new and know it hasn't been tagged out. EDIT: REPLY TO OWNERS PATHETIC RESPONSE: it was bone dry outside no wet conditions.... And if you can't justify why your employee can't drive a side by side in the parking to prove it works you must know there is something wrong with it. BUYER BEWARE - Unethical charges for customers My experience with this dealership was overwhelmingly negative due to the ownership/finance manager, not the employees. My purchase was ruined over $15. My initial quote came back much higher than advertised online. The web ad I found clearly states "Your Price = $6,954." I was shocked to see that this dealership forces a $500 "prep" fee onto the purchasing customer. No where does the website state or relay this information. They explained it covered their cost in parts and labor to get the bike ready to sell. This is completely backwards from every other dealership I have EVER worked with. When the dealership is purchasing a used vehicle they offer a price to the seller that includes what they think they need to do to get the vehicle ready to sell. I highly suspect they are low balling customer selling vehicles, and then passing the cost off again on to customers purchasing the used vehicle essentially double dipping! When I asked for an itemized list and cost analysis of the work done to this "like new" used cycle with around 100 miles on it, the service work listed an inspection, oil charge, and sparkplug replacement totally $300 charge to the dealership from their service department. Yet I am still forced to pay $500 for this "prep" fee? Even though I disagreed with everything to this point in negotiations, I realize that inventory is low for motorcycles and this is the EXACT model I want. I ask them jokingly to take $15 off their offer to cover a tube of touch up paint from a website they recommended to me because they do not have a vendor to supply it to fix a small paint chip on the gas tank. They came back with a hard NO. Surely they won't break a sale over $15 when a US Military veteran is willing to rent a motorcycle trailer, drive 20 hours round trip to pick it up, and finishing the titling, sales tax processing and other processes my own when I get back to PA?? Most of the negotiations to this point where over text message. I called the office to speak to someone thinking it could be a communication error and was directed to the internet sales manager. She confirmed within 5 minutes that the finance manager and owner would not meet my simple request to cover the cost of a paint pen, regardless of my commitment to the sale. She explained that from their viewpoint, someone will buy it sooner or later for the price they want and my personal scenario is of no consequence to them. I was without words. Of course, I was told. "we'll be here Monday morning if you change your mind, hon" ask it was pretty much closing time. For me this was an ethical issue. With the amount of money I was to spend to travel down there, take a personal day from work due to the fact that it is a two-day trip for me, $15 is of no concern. To have the dealership flip a such a minute amount of money back in my face is an insult to retail and sales in general. They literally wouldn't cover the cost of a cup of coffee for myself and a friend that were planning to make this trip. I totally understand that it's not their fault I live half the country away. I get that it's their property and they can sell it on their terms. But after two consistent days of negotiations and trying to make a deal.... to which they have denied EVERY request I've asked - to be unwilling to compromise over $15 to fix a paint chip on a USED 2018 bike I wanted to buy is ABSOLUTELY anti-consumer. I hope this review helps other understand the mindset of the finance and sales team before they get too invested in something they want. Especially after the ridiculous year 2020 has been for us all. Did so for evaluation and break down.. they told insurance company the motor failed with 800 miles on the unit as normal wear and tear.. this was May 14, 2023... as of today through their Honda tech quiting and all the other BS I have been fed over the past year my talon runs after they rebuilt the motor, but now has clutch issues!! I haven't seen my talon since last year because it hasn't left their shop! No clutch issues when it went in and mind you I have been waiting a year on the repair I have already paid 4900$ of the 8900$ bill. I'm not usually the one to complain and I haven't over the past 365 days I haven't had my talon but hey anybody would at this point. Make it right redline admit you can't fix it refund my money and give me my damn talon back so I can put a motor in it!! Two squirrels and a monkey could have fixed it by now! How does a new 2023 machine cost $10,699 and I get charged $11,995 okay mark up to make profit okay understandable. Then I receive a copy of my contract and I'm charged $875 for parts and labor? I haven't had any work done to the machine so why am I getting charged parts and labor. Is that from where it was traded in? Then that cost should have been taken off of the trade and not added to my loan. Then I get charged $1,195 for warranty and $899 for gap. She only told us it would be $5 a month and not that it would add that much to my loan. Then I'm getting charged $300 for a document fee? A car dealership don't even charge that. Y'all are just doing dirty business and trying to get money anyway possible and that's not acceptable. And idc if it adds "value" to the machine it made my loan go up to $16,000 wtf for a ,$10,000 machine. Nah man. Y'all either make this right or I'm going to park it at the store and leave it and it will be y'all's problem. And if it adds "value" then pay the $16k and take it back. I don't want anything else to do with y'all or the machine cause y'all are just snakes. A bunch of crooked people wanting money. The sales Man who helped us was great. He may not have known but someone should have said hey you're gonna get charged $875 for parts and labor that have been done from when it was traded in. DO NOT BUY from RedLine Powersports Myrtle Beach My father in law whom is a VETERAN bought a 2021 slim from them in August, agreed to pay full price if they'd cover the cost of shipping it back to New York as we were on a family vacation. They agreed and hired a shipper who then KEPT the bike for a week and whomever they hired put 110 miles on the bike and broke something in the clutch. They took 35 days to finish the paperwork and he just recieved his plate last week. When he called Redline to discuss the miles on the bike, the clutch, and the missing key fob they apologized and then hung up! Customer service is despicable, whom they hired for shipping are TERRIBLE and they offered nothing other than an apology for a broken bike. If you shop here and spend thousands you'd think they be a little more helpful or concerned but don't be surprised if they screw you over too even if you've served our country they could give two shits how they treat you. read more

We were looking for a specific bike, Derrick showed us the KTM 690, but he knew I really wanted a Husqvarna 701. It is the same bike in different clothes for those who don't know. anyway he told me he had a husky in the back still in the crate. If this dealer was shady like all these negative reviews say it is, I guarantee they would have pressured me on one of the 2 ready to go already built KTM 690s sitting on the sales floor. Because I know shady business and this is not one. they went above and went out of their way to get me onto the bike I really wanted.Then we discussed pricing etc. We met Glenn who walked us through the deal. my wife and I were very impressed by the professional staff. I'll make this quick. I had first hand experience with their service department and sales department. Two months after dropping off to repair my Honda pioneer 1000 deluxe, not even the first phone call from them with an update. Of course problem not fixed either. I encourage you to not take your problem to Redline Powersports for a solution. Second sales department will charge you a fortune above the asking price of your vehicle you are looking to buy for freight and preparation. Also any added accessories go ahead and count on them charging to install it as well. Lastly, if you have any problems with your new vehicle and give them a phone call for advice I would not expect a phone call back either. Went in to buy a Wave runner. Never got waited on or acknowledged that we were there. Went online and filled out a quote request. No reply. Filled out another request. Salesman called and said he couldn't give pricing cause they would have a better deal after May 1. He was going to pull the one I was interested in and get it on floor and call me back. Never called. We went back on May 4th. We had to ask for help. Salesman was sitting at his desk in middle of floor playing on his cellphone. He was not interested in showing us the unit or selling us the unit.He wanted us to come back in a couple weeks. I told him I was not coming back and would look elsewhere. I was close to Gastonia NC and went by Full Throttle Powersports. I had 3 employees great me and within 30 minutes I had the Waverunner I wanted.. If you want a place that just wants your money go here. Drove 2 hours to there store excited to buy a new side by side. Told them I wanted to drive first, they said no problem have to do paperwork first and if don't like it can rip it up. So after 3 hours still waiting to finish paperwork even with them knowing I needed to buy a trailer down the road and that the store was closing they didn't care. So when I finally got up and said deal over they pretty much begged me for the deal. They have no consideration for customer time or wants. They only care about money.
