The class started with a good lecture about the serious nature of concealed carry. There was an excellent medical briefing prior to shooting which is lacking in many classes. The class had various levels of ability and the instructors were able to help everyone. This is a good class for beginners and more experienced shooters. An important reminder is to review the equipment list so you don't have any problems at the beginning of the class. Even with some problems, the instructors assisted some shooters by supplying ammo or equipment, read the equipment list.

The confirmation email I was sent before the start of the course gave me all the information I needed before arrival so when I got in the morning there I was ready to rock. The course took place at a beautiful private range and the class size really allowed for hands on instruction and one-on-one when it was needed.Both Evan and Ben are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to home defense and the use of your handgun in that scenario. We had the opportunity to run through some scenario-based training and the course was a good mix of classroom instruction and range time. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to familiarize themselves with firearms, learn how to handle your firearm in a defensive manner, or is just looking for more shooting practice!

The class had a bit of time on situations of when to use force (based again on Utah law). Then the course focused on basic practical handgun skills.
