The lines were rides were all short, so my husband and son were able to do many rides with their unlimited wristbands. I paid the lower rate to just go into the park, but not do rides (nice option to have). The splash pad was very busy on the day we went, but our son was still able to partake and enjoyed it. It's absolutely beautiful and a historic landmark. Because of this photo I like to photograph carousels now. I enjoy the carousels in Manhattan. I treasure this photo and I definitely would make it a point to return the next visit to Paris. In fact I'd like to photograph more of the carousels in Paris. There are around twenty carousels around Paris. Most from the 1900's when it's considered they reached their Golden Age.

If you can ride the Ferris wheel after dark, watch…read moreits reflection twinkle in the windows of the apartment buildings on the Rue de Rivoli and the Louvre, and look out over the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysées, and Sacré Coeur, and remain unmoved, then I can't help you. Every year this fair gets bigger and more elaborate, but it still manages to retain its imperfect charm. The flume ride will still ruin your clothes for the rest of the evening, the fun house will still put you in danger of a black eye, and the carousel will still spin its rickety way around again and again. Get ice cream, and wander at will. Everything's overpriced, of course, but don't worry, it'll be okay. This is a quintessentially Parisian event. The Ferris wheel is strikingly beautiful, and locals and tourists alike are willing to shell out a little more than usual for an unforgettable view from the top.

I missed my exit the other night and when I was turning the corner all I could see was bright…read morelights and lots of them. Of course I couldn't stop thinking about this place, I'm Happy we went. I went for 10 stayed till 12 am (closes at 1 am on weekends) did basketball of course I killed it got 4 tickets but didn't get anything as you need more so will hang on to those to get a bigger prize next time. Did a lot of shooting games which was fun and loud. Did the Pirate ship at first it was fun but they kept doing it I got sick near the end but made it of course. Food was expensive as it usually is 4 dollars for a hot dog in baguette but I still ate it all. There's police walking around everywhere so it's pretty safe. I'll be back tomorrow just for basketball

C'est le meilleur parc sur terre!! :)…read more I really enjoyed visiting Parc Astérix three summers ago, not trying to measure it up to Disneyland or American equivalents, but as a uniquely French amusement park, rather off the beaten path for two Americans. It took us forever to get there since the shuttle never picked us up at the Louvre due to rain, we trekked it to Charles de Gaulle and caught the charter bus from there. Soaked in rolled up jeans, flip flops and "100% anti pluie" ponchos, we had a blast sipping on tall cans of 1664 and running around the amusement park. There are plenty of old, Romanesque statues and plenty of photo opps. Lots of fun rides for families and people of any age, and it felt very safe. And the gift shop sold HOOKAHS. Tell me where you'd find that in les États-Unis! Way worth the bus ride out there from Paris!

During summer it stays light so long that most European women haven't decided what they're serving for dinner until 8:00. But this place closes at 6:00. Earns 'em triple bonus points on the looser-ometer. And the height restrictions. Ugh. They've got this height chart posted all over the park that breaks kid's heights into three categories. Kiddie rides only, Must be accompanied and Can ride unaccompanied. Both kids are Must ride accompanied or taller so we're golden. Dad can take his kiddos on everything! Until we show up to one of the more fun looking rides a discover that they've got a totally different height chart. Now neither of the girls are tall enough. Come on! It was stupid and a serious buzz kill. The best ride of the park was the Hydra. We ran most of the way over there and ended up being the last group of riders for the day. This thing spins you around and hops you up and down so smoothly that I was squealing like and idiot for a solid 5 minutes. And the fact that my little girls were right there with me? What a joy. And an awesome way to end the day. Park's closed, I carry my littlest one to the parking lot and think "Hey, only an hour and a half til dinner."

A charming park! Not…read morea very big park, but a very beautiful park. There are much less rides to enjoy here, but much more pretty views and things to-do. The food is also not as good at this park, but there are some wonderful sit-down dining experiences. Pros and cons, but overall a park that's worth the visit at least once! Really enjoyed a few of the rides. For the thrilling rides, I LOVED Hyperspace Mountain. Coming from CA, it was not at all what I expected, but I had a great time. It was basically a full-on roller coaster and I screamed the entire time. Avengers Flight Force was also unexpectedly thrilling. Loved Crush's Coaster and of course Frozen Ever After and Ratatouille were fantastic. I really liked Phantom Manor which I found to be spookier than the original Haunted Mansion. Big Thunder was fun (and longer) and more thrilling than its CA counterpart. I had a great time!

I think Disneyland Paris is great for locals, but if you live in the states, the best part of the…read morepark is how fantastic the pins are. While we absolutely adored Tokyo Disney, which is unique from it's merch to it's rides, Disneyland Paris feels like a logistically difficult echo to what's in the states. The TGV train from the airport wasn't great and getting picked up by Uber at the station was rife with scams. We felt generally that the park was not worth the hassle you go through to transit there (somewhat similar to my feelings on WDW actually). That being said the food was good and I enjoyed trying our Premier Access for rides (it made our visit a lot more smooth) but all in all I don't see us coming back as there's not much here that's unique outside of their fantastically large pins.
