Disneyland Paris was the last of all Disney theme parks worldwide that I had yet to visit. Unfortunately, it turns out I saved the worst for last. While the photo opportunity of the hotel outside Disneyland Paris is a worthwhile stop, the park itself was too similar to its Anaheim counterpart with very little variation in the rides and a way worse (rougher, shorter, and totally different) version of Indiana Jones. All the rides left something to be desired. Space Mountain was really the only ride that I felt was better than its Anaheim counterpart, because it had a vertical loop and a barrel loop which the American version doesn't have. The customer service at the park was also horrendous. Having held an annual pass to the Anaheim parks for three decades now, I've grown accustomed to friendliness and respect from employees. This was nowhere to be found at Disneyland Paris. All the cast members were rude and terse, taking their sweet time to take your order or make your food and not going even the slightest bit out of their way to make your experience memorable. Although smaller in size, Disney Adventure World was a better use of money and time, with memorable rides like Crush's Coaster and Ratatouille (which single-handedly are the rides that made me give at least two stars as my rating instead of just one). Crush's Coaster is especially unique, but the wait times can get quite long (even the single rider line) so hit this ride first thing after rope drop. It's also super close to the entrance, so it's very convenient to do when you first arrive. I would only recommend buying a pass to Disney Adventure World if I were advising a friend. The food across both parks was also awful. I didn't love a single thing we ate, and we tried different foods nearly every hour we were there from open to close. The crowd here was also the rudest I'd ever encountered across all the parks worldwide. People would routinely shove past you, cut you in line, and generally disregard any sort of personal space. If you're looking for the best Disneyland experience, save your money in Paris and go to Tokyo Disney instead! For those curious about timing, we walked 30k steps from open to close and were able to ride sixteen rides and see three shows across both parks.
I loved this park! Disneyland Paris was an absolute dream come true! It's so much more affordable than the American parks. It was cheaper to fly to Paris, get a hotel, see the sights, and hit Disneyland the next day than it would have been for a road trip to Orlando and a 1-day Disney World entry. Now that's saying something! Some of the highlights of this trip were: the park is so easily accessible by train. The station literally delivers you right in front of the park. The Disneyland Paris app shows continuously updated wait times on rides - very handy! Sleeping Beauty's castle is an attraction in and of itself, as it should be. The are multiple gift shops on the first level and stained glass and tapestries depicting Sleeping Beauty's story on the upper level. In the "dungeon" there's a fun surprise! A "sleeping" animatronic dragon! So cool. We liked the Alice in Wonderland hedge maze, the Red Queen's castle, and the Dumbo ride (although the line was long on this one) It was interesting to see how different The Pirates of the Caribbean ride was. Some classic scenes remained (pirates jangling cups from their jail cell, hoping for a dog to deliver the keys) but many were updated with animatronic Capt. Jack Sparrow. Some scenes remained in English, some were translated to French and a few replaced the dialogue with swells of music. Overall, the Pirate ride seemed disjointed to me - it's just been edited and done over so many times it's no longer really cohesive. If you're tired of lines and your kids just want to blow off some steam, Pirate's Island is the answer! Swiss Family Robinson's Treehouse felt weirdly colonialistic, but the rope bridges, mini-beach, pirate ship and cave maze were all really fun and a great improvement on Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer Island. Interestingly, while they sold a few Mickey Mouse ears, they didn't have much of a selection and most gift shops didn't have them. Plenty of guests wore ears they had acquired at other Disney properties. It seems the French were too stylish to be conned into wearing them! Snacks were expensive, but portions were good! Apparently all "fine dining" places are reserved out months in advance. I had already braced myself to pay a bit more for snacks, so this was fine. The day parade featured a Maleficient robot dragon breathing real fire which caught our attention! I'm told the night parade with fireworks is "not to be missed" but I opted to take one super-exhausted kiddo out early and beat the rush for the last train back to the city for the evening. I was here literally days before they open their new Frozen Elsa World park, so arguably, I missed a lot, but this was such a satisfactory trip, I would definitely go back.
THE GOOD ----------------- + Still a pretttty big park to conquer, but relatively manageable for small kids. + No shortage of amazing Disney-themed rides! All of the traditional ones (e.g., It's a Small World, Mad Hatter's Tea Cups, Pirates of the Caribbean,) that Disney fans grew up with at other Disney parks, are here too! + Many rides are for kids of all ages, with the exception of only a few that require riders to be of a certain height (e.g., Hyperspace Mountain, Orbitron, etc.) + Sooooo much scenery (e.g., Sleeping Beauty's Castle, Main Street, themed lands, rides, parade) to take pictures of and with. + Plenty of restaurants to dine in at, including buffets, or do counter service. The food is actually decent and unlike the usual fast food served in the States. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Warning to non-kid lovers - Avoid Disney parks at all costs. There will be enough tantrums, crying, rude acts, complaints, unsanitary bathrooms, fart smells that will test any person's patience and stomach. - Felt that more tourists were rude here versus at the U.S. parks - might have been due to the language barrier and that many tourists were from all over Europe speaking different languages, so people were unable to communicate their pleasantries/courtesy. - Expectedly long lines for the most popular rides (e.g., Peter Pan's Flight) - Where were the Disney characters???? Not a whole lot of Disney characters to take photos with, unlike in the U.S. parks. - Disney cast members weren't the most friendliest/engaging or as happy-looking as in the U.S. parks. - Oddly, there were no soft drinks for children sold at the vendor stands. Only Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, Fanta and Fuze Ice Tea were available. Children drinks (apple or orange juice) were only sold at restaurants. - The fireworks show occurs VERY late at 10:30 PM, so keeping up little ones can be a challenge. MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------- = Once 7 PM hit, the crowd noticeably got smaller, not to say it was empty, but there was definitely less people as some families left, either for the day or to return later in the evening for the fireworks show. CONCLUSION -------------------- = This is a Disney park so expect all things Disney here - buildings, structures, statues, rides, characters, restaurants. Make sure your phone is FULLY charged and bring a phone charger pack! There will be long waits for rides and some counter service restaurants + lots of people no matter when you visit, so bring your best version and patience. Most importantly, HAVE A GOOD TIME!
Disneyland Paris was fun and much better than expected! As someone who lives in Los Angeles, I expected the park to be jam packed. It was quite the opposite! The park is super spacious and as a result it never felt overly crowded. Rides were easy to get on with not a ton of wait time. My favorite ride was Crush, which is a smaller rollercoaster that is very unique (you're sitting in a shell). My husband really enjoyed the larger roller coasters like Space Mountain and Avengers Assemble. Food was unique and I liked trying all sorts of new treats.
Cast members are the locker drop of area are extremely rude here. Unfortunately the food at Disney Paris is very underwhelming with the exception of the potatoes over by Ratatouille's area. The merch is nothing special. There's so much room for improvement. One thing forsure is it is very aesthetically pleasing, clean, and not too crowded but maybe that's because it started to suddenly snow and temperatures were very low with rain and wind.
I was super excited to be able to visit Disneyland Paris and just having had the experience, was a 5-star moment. But I will say that the food was not good and some of the rides were just not as great as the OG Disneyland, which is a place I'm familiar with since childhood. As for the food, we had ice cream, popcorn, chicken burgers, beer, and champagne throughout the day. The champagne was excellent of course being that you are in France after all. The chicken burgers were sub par. Ice cream was pretty tasty, I got a salted caramel. Popcorn was standard and the beer was actually pretty good. As for rides, I really enjoyed their version of the Haunted Mansion. It was charming and different enough from the original in Anaheim, that I liked seeing how they re-created the scenes and the imagery. My favorite ride is Pirates of the Caribbean and I will say that I was underwhelmed by the Paris version. The drops were anti-climactic and it just felt a little dull. We loved Big Thunder Mountain the most as it had really thrilling moments and it was a nice length in time. We also found our way to the dragon underneath the castle, and that was a nice touch. I will say that we got to the park via the RER train and we felt more comfortable taking a rideshare back since it was past 10pm when we were done with the day. This was soooo expensive and confusing. There is no clear place to call a G7 taxi, which is the service we were using. And they charged us an exorbitant amount. So I would plan other options for any future visits. Overall, I enjoyed myself, as did the family. Entry prices are amazing compared to Southern California, but you are also spending quite a bit to make it over to Europe for this Disney Paris jaunt!
Who doesn't love Disneyland? In Paris we may have taken a day to try out some of their exclusive rides and exclusive foods. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded and we rarely had to wait in a line (never more than 20 minutes). We also enjoyed some of the cheapest beers we have ever had at an amusement park or major venue. My wife had Duchess while I had La Belle Blond Francaise Marguerite La Francaise IPA. We also ate a lot. Including: Nutella Crepe Pepperoni Pizza in the shape of the all star Mickey Cheese Pretzel Champagne to cap the night off _______
Now I know they say this is the happiest place on earth and they told the truth. I felt like a little kid again. Trust me get the fast pass and do studio disney first. The food halls and stores for souvenirs were all so unique. I rode almost every ride and even got to see the parade. I did get to enjoy each park and some sweet treats. I can't wait to go back.
So I debated what I was going to give this Disney as I've been to Orlando, California, Tokyo sea, Hong Kong's and every other Disney park but animal kingdom and Shanghai. The rating is based off the cleanliness of the place and the shorter lines. The experience was a bit off as every ride we tried to ride or ride broke down. Legit even Indian jones was broken all day. Disney is Disney. I think it's missing the boat on adults but they do a good job with the kids. Food was ok. I however will say what a crazy experience to say 10 years ago when my wife and I went to hong Kong Disney the guy Jean Marie was doing glass figures and we bought jack from a nightmare before Christmas. Well today we walked into the glass figures and I immediately recognized him. My wife didn't think it was him but I don't forget a face. And showed her the pictures from 2015. We couldn't believe the odds he was here now. We spoke to Jean for a while and we shook hands and I bought a mini mouse glass figures for my wife as a gift. Overall, if the rides were working I'd give it 4 stars as the rides just aren't as good as other places.
Disney and París all in one place who wouldn't love it here! It was a nice area outside leading into the park with tons of shops and restaurants to choose from. When inside there was so much more to explore. I enjoyed my experience here and would recommend visiting here. We bought through Viator so we were misled to think we were getting two parks instead of one that's the reason for my 4 stars.
I was about to have a pretty big monumental birthday and wanted to do something fun and over the top. We flew into Charles DeGaulle from Atlanta. The flight was pretty quick. 8hours. I did TONS of research so I pretty much knew what to expect. I felt so fortunate to be able to afford such an amazing trip. Having said that , I think it's important to give DP a full review. They do fall short on the snacks. There was only one popcorn machine in the park. All the food trucks had the exact same things. I feel they could have some really cool French or iconic Disney snacks . The gift shops were pretty good except there weren't any "Paris" only ears. I did order some from Etsy before I left the USA. The rides are pretty much the same with a few twist. The one thing I did like was the "premier pass" It was awesome. We did 18 rides in one day. We didn't have to "book" them like in CA. The staff were nice and the patrons were too. I'm not sure how people are saying it's cheaper than CA. Our round trip flights were $$$ each. We did stay at the Disney hotel and that was pretty pricey. I would definitely recommend going but do your research.
Disneyland Paris does not disappoint!!! Although smaller than Disneyland Anaheim, the grounds and attractions and the food is still spectacular and wonderful and beautiful. A day at Disneyland Paris was enjoyable and lovely to experience. The visitors to the Parc were a better caliber of people and families enjoying their time and experiences together, so much different than in California. In California the children are brats and parents are not being responsible for the actions of their kids. However, the children and parents were respectful of others which is so refreshing. The kids were still kids, but the parents were setting a wonderful example to enhance the atmosphere. The grounds were well kept and vibrant. The queues were well managed. Food was served delicious and hot. The rides were full with the line moving. The website provides helpful information on everything and I recommend making reservations and using the Disneyland Paris App to make your experience enjoyable. The Parc was well-maintained and indeed resonated the theme of Walt Disney here in France!!!

I think Disneyland Paris is great for locals, but if you live in the states, the best part of the park is how fantastic the pins are. While we absolutely adored Tokyo Disney, which is unique from it's merch to it's rides, Disneyland Paris feels like a logistically difficult echo to what's in the states. The TGV train from the airport wasn't great and getting picked up by Uber at the station was rife with scams. We felt generally that the park was not worth the hassle you go through to transit there (somewhat similar to my feelings on WDW actually). That being said the food was good and I enjoyed trying our Premier Access for rides (it made our visit a lot more smooth) but all in all I don't see us coming back as there's not much here that's unique outside of their fantastically large pins. read more
While visiting Paris this week and having the time to come here I decided to spend the day at Disneyland Paris and compare it to Disneyland in LA and the Magic Kingdom in Orlando. Unfortunately it's in 3rd place. Yes, admission fees are less here and it shows. Here are some of my observations; This park seems smaller and has fewer attractions than the other two. The number of dining options (both table and counter service) appear to be similar. The train ride around the park only makes one additional stop other than the one at the entrance and there isn't much to see on that ride. Kind of boring. I noticed several areas of the park had leaves and other natural vegetation on the ground that needed to be swept up. You would not see that at the other two parks. They stay immaculate. Also, I thought that some of the areas needed some remodeling and freshening up. Another thing was that most of the food/souvenir carts were not open. Not sure why? Two positive things were that the RER Metro runs a train to within 200 yards of the front entrance which makes it very convenient to come here from Paris without a car. It only costs 2.5€ to make that 40 minute trip from central Paris. The other was that I had a good meal at Agrabah restaurant in the park. Yes it was 45€ with a drink but the food quality was very good and it is an all you can eat restaurant. If you live in Europe this location is convenient and that is why it is popular. It's like visiting the US without actually having to travel there and spending a lot of time and money to do so. However if you come to the US and go to either of the other two parks you will notice that this place is not up to par. read more

This is a beautiful place to come to Disney with friends and family enjoy your time with rides and food it looks small but you will enjoy it also if you like Ratatouille make sure you make a reservation with time about 3 months ahead because it gets book fast read more

I did TONS of research so I pretty much knew what to expect. I felt so fortunate to be able to afford such an amazing trip. Having said that , I think it's important to give DP a full review. They do fall short on the snacks. There was only one popcorn machine in the park. All the food trucks had the exact same things. I feel they could have some really cool French or iconic Disney snacks . The gift shops were pretty good except there weren't any "Paris" only ears. I did order some from Etsy before I left the USA. The rides are pretty much the same with a few twist. The one thing I did like was the "premier pass" It was awesome. We did 18 rides in one day. We didn't have to "book" them like in CA. The staff were nice and the patrons were too. I'm not sure how people are saying it's cheaper than CA. Our round trip flights were $$$ each. We did stay at the Disney hotel and that was pretty pricey. I would definitely recommend going but do your research. read more

Disneyland Paris does not disappoint!!! Although smaller than Disneyland Anaheim, the grounds and attractions and the food is still spectacular and wonderful and beautiful. A day at Disneyland Paris was enjoyable and lovely to experience. The visitors to the Parc were a better caliber of people and families enjoying their time and experiences together, so much different than in California. In California the children are brats and parents are not being responsible for the actions of their kids. However, the children and parents were respectful of others which is so refreshing. The kids were still kids, but the parents were setting a wonderful example to enhance the atmosphere. The grounds were well kept and vibrant. The queues were well managed. Food was served delicious and hot. The rides were full with the line moving. The website provides helpful information on everything and I recommend making reservations and using the Disneyland Paris App to make your experience enjoyable. The Parc was well-maintained and indeed resonated the theme of Walt Disney here in France!!! read more
Oh Disneyland, I will love you in Florida, California, Japan.... and most definitely Paris!! I am a huge Disney parks fanatic, and it has been my dream to visit all of the parks across the world one day. Getting to visit EuroDisney was everything I could've hoped for! DP reminds me a lot of the Disneyland California layout - Both parks right next to each other, including the downtown Disney area. There are quite a few different hotels on property - A couple within walking distance and some just a short shuttle ride away. Getting here was surprisingly easy from the city. We booked a Disney shuttle in advance that picked us up from the airport. They had plenty of workers outside that helped us know where to go. Or, if you're comfortable with the trains, the station will literally take you to right in front of the parks... It's almost funny how close it is. DP consists of two parks - Walt Disney Studios, a much smaller park but is currently growing rapidly, and the original 'Magic Kingdom' park. Tons of the classics are there, like Adventureland, Fantasyland, etc. There are also unique areas, like the Alice in Wonderland garden and Indiana Jones outdoor roller coaster. The magic is just as consistent here, with friendly cast members, great food and cleanliness all around. We had such a great day here and the added convenience of how close everything was around the park made it even better. This park must be on your bucket list, and is pretty easy to get to from Paris or even nearby cities/countries! read more

It's very easy to get to by train from any part of Paris... When arriving by train, you exit up an escalator, and through the doors, you know you have made it to Disneyland, not any Disney property but Disneyland Paris. The lines weren't bad going into the park and when we entered there they were Mickey & Minney!!! This park was so fun because it's smaller than Orlando and the food adventures take up a notch!!! We arrived when they opened and left by 5:30, having completed every ride and have tried all the foodie stops we were educated about on TikTok :) and boy, there were many!!! Deadpool tagged along, and I have added a few pictures with him. If you're in Paris you don't have to be a Disnry Fan to have fun at the park but if you are you will really enjoy yourself!!! Stores, Food and Speciaty Stores were filled with so much to try and buy. So if you're a Disney fan, what's stopping you!! read more
Stunning! Absolutely gorgeous. Especially at night. We tacked this on very last min to the tail end of our honeymoon (maybe 2 weeks in advance of our trip) It was easy to do, even for what I know to be a "busy" season - October, fall, halloween time. For reference, my home park is WDW and I am what people like to call a "Disney adult" which is fine by me I'm so glad we stoped in. We were there for 3 days. Stayed on property (which was like a Eisner era time capsule) loved the free admission included with our hotel stay (including extra magic hours each day including the day we chaned out, so for a two night stay we got 3 days in the parks included) and we had a great time. Even my husband who is not a Disney adult really really enjoyed himself and was in awe of how gorgeous the park was at night. Everything was doable in that time frame. The food was so good. We did not get our first picks for dining (which is not unexpected within the booking time frame) but what we did have was very good and we were fine with it - I have written reviews of those separately Also ahe to say the merch. was SO GOOD! I spent far more money than I planned to. Lots of items specific to this park so plan to shop if you like souvenirs or are a Disney adult. If you are a Disney fan in France, please go and experience it at least once. I would love to go back (before having children and then again with children) and stay in the Disneyland hotel to witness the shows from my room and experience that hotel. We enjoyed a fun day visiting both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park while in Paris. Both are so close you can easily hop between them and it's a great value to grab the two parks pass. Getting from Paris city center to the parks via RER was a breeze. You step directly out of the station and into the entrance. The park had your usual classic rides, Mickey shaped treats, character visits and parade. Food options by comparison to the parks in the states seemed a bit limited but there were a few unique treats like macarons which were indicative of the location. read more

Extremely, extremely, extremely busy! Shoulder to shoulder crowds and way oversold! It was so crowded you couldn't even get through the streets without bumping into people! Is Disney that desperate for business that they make it miserable for everyone in the park? The lines were so long and you are nicked and dimed to death! We were there for two night and 3 days for a family of 5 including hotel and I spent before upgrades, food and toys $4,600.00 I don't think it's worth the money, we could have done a lot more with that money after it was all said and done. The lines were so long unless you had a fast pass and then it was so inconvenient to backtrack to ride the ride after you were told what time to return. I recommend Lego Land it's much better! read more
It was a brisk beautiful day filled with happy fun seeking people. It was not too crowded. Longest line we waited in was 50 min. Recommend the single line other than Nemo if you don't need to ride together. Bistro Chez Remy was excellent. Needed a reservation or wait list. Has fun. No mishaps. Glad we came. read more

It's just an overpriced outdoor mall with some fake castle in the middle. Worst Disney park I've ever visited. It's a money printing concentration camp, especially if hot. Rides are broken or malfunctioning. Lines insane. Smelly. Long. Rides break in while waiting in line for hours. It's a decrepit picture of 90s former glory. The Shrink-wrapped plastic magic doesn't cut it anymore. I'm done with Disney. For good. Never again. read more
Great park! You can definitely see both parks in one day if you have a good plan. BAD: There was a lot of construction and several rides were closed for maintenance. It would've been smarter to do the construction in phases instead of closing large sections of the park. Minus stars because the food selection inside the park was terrible. The signage to the food and shops just outside of the park was terrible. I didn't know it existed until we were almost leaving the park. They had it blocked off with construction boards but they should've definitely put up signs saying it was open for business. The "wait times" for rides was always wrong. All the wait times were longer than advertised by at least 15-20 minutes. Honestly, the wait times would not have been that bad if their other rides were open. GOOD: I felt like all the rides were more intense than in the US. Faster, more turns, and longer. Once we found the eating area outside the park, it was perfect! The light and drone show at the end of the night was AMAZING! The entire show put the show in the US to shame. So many times it gets canceled in California due to weather. The US definitely needs to switch to drones and lights. It's a must see while at Disney to end the night. The Ratatouille area was so awesome. My kids loved it!! We bought so much merchandise! They had a great selection of items. Did I mention the light show at the end?!?!! Truly made the night!!! They stuck to the traditional Disney shows that made Disney what it is today (not all these new movies/shows that have been out recently). I'd come back in a few years once all the construction is done. read more

Disneyland Paris was built in 1992, and unfortunately, it's really starting to show its age -- the structures, paint, and theming all feel tired. Speaking of theming, the transitions between lands are poorly done. It's a small detail, but it really affects the overall experience. Bathrooms are few and far between. In Fantasyland, you might as well need a Fast Pass just to use the restroom. When I checked the park map, I was shocked at how spread out the bathrooms were -- definitely not enough for the crowds they pull. Operations are slow. At many food stands, one worker is expected to do the job of two -- taking your order, getting your food, and then handling the payment. As a result, even the food cart lines take forever. Another interesting observation: very few people wear Disney gear here. It's a totally different vibe from the U.S. parks. Wait times? A complete lie. Whatever is posted, add 20-30 minutes, easy. Line management is also poor -- if you're a group of three, good luck. They constantly pull groups of two from behind you to fill seats, which makes boarding frustratingly slow for others. It's more a design and operations problem than anything. Don't expect Disneyland Anaheim or Orlando nostalgia here. Honestly, it felt more like early 2000s Knott's Berry Farm in February... but with sold-out crowds and none of the charm. Snack game is weak too. Forget about grabbing churros or decent popcorn. The corn dogs are straight from the freezer and taste air-fried. I figured with France's high food standards, this would be better -- but no. Even the beignets are very different. Also, no real confectionery shops -- just some candy stands. If you're visiting Paris and considering a trip here, think twice. I had free tickets but still had to upgrade to the Premier Access pass (€160 per person) just to avoid 70-minute wait times. It helped a lot, but it was a very expensive solution. Highlights: * Space Mountain was fun if you like going upside down (though the theming makes no sense). * Phantom Manor was excellent -- definitely one of the best experiences there. * Pirates of the Caribbean was a neat reverse-version of Anaheim's. * Hollywood Studios Paris is pretty ugly overall, but Avengers Campus, Ratatouille, and Crush's Coaster were fantastic -- just expect very long lines without paid access. read more
Best birthday gift to myself ever!!! My first solo trip to France had to include going to Disney, and I definitely had an amazing time! Planned, prepped the day before by purchasing ticket and scheduling the bus ride. Even on a dreary day, the weather couldn't stop my joy. Be sure to get a map, it helped navigate particular areas suited for adult rides. And DO NOT miss the electric light show, it's like nothing I've ever seen! One of the best days from my first time visiting Europe. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed this park! The lines were significantly shorter than US, and some of the rides were very similar. Some in English. Most in French. I did not like the Indiana Jones ride that much as it was more roller coaster than that of California Disney, but thunder mountain was a lot of fun, and I liked seeing Pirates in French too! I also liked that they sold champagne. 20€ but at least it came with a souvenir cup. Until the renovations are done, I don't recommend Walt Disney studios. Stick to Disneyland only. And be sure to STAY for the drone show! It was awesome!! read more
In total transparency, I'm not a Disney enthusiast--Disney's best days were in the 90s. With that said, I stayed here for a few days in one of the hotels. When you get here, it's almost like you're treated like cattle: wait in this line, go through this security check, wait in another line to check your luggage, etc. Even at the end of the day, when you're in the park, they direct you to the exit with light wands as if you're on a runway. Regarding the other reviews, it's not fair to compare this to theme parks in America, because this isn't America. It's a foreign country hosting an American theme park, so people can stop the comparisons. The restaurants fill up quickly, and you need to get reservations early; otherwise, your favorite restaurants won't be available. That said, some restaurants don't need reservations, but for some reason, some seemed to be closed 24/7. There seem to be multiple parades and dance routines throughout the day. There are many stores throughout the theme park, yet the majority seem to sell the same things--no variety. Also, these are 'top tier' hotels, but they don't have any refrigerators, which makes no sense. But at the end of the day, we had fun and made memories, so we'll probably go again next year. read more

I would love to visit all of the Disneylands of the world. Disneyland Paris was my first one and it was so much fun! First, it's way less crowded than Disney World in Florida for obvious reasons, so that was already a plus in my book. Then, you still have some of the classic rides from Disney World but also ones specific to Disneyland Paris. There are two parks - Disneyland Park (the main one and where Main Street and the castle is) and Walt Disney Studios Park (where Avengers Campus) is. We bought the two day ticket, which allows you to hop back and forth between the two. We split the park into two days but WDS Park is much smaller so if you were really ambitious, you could go from open to close and do both in one day if you really wanted to. But we wanted a more leisurely experience and did 2 and ended up having extra time on the second day to re-ride the rides we really liked. Definitely download the app because if you want to eat at any of the restaurants, you need to use it to book way ahead of time. We checked two weeks prior and all the good restaurants/time slots were gone. But due to people cancelling last minute, we actually ended up being able to do most of the restaurants we wanted, so keep checking that app. The parks are about an hour from the city center and you can take the RER A. Be mindful of train times though because there was one night we found out at the park that the trains stopped after 9, and that was the night we were waiting for the fireworks, which were not until 10-10:30. Make sure you get to Main Street at least an hour prior for a good spot. It was annoying but it was worth the wait, especially since it happened to be the 30th anniversary, so there was a special drone show too. Same goes for the parade - if you're planning to go, be sure to go an hour beforehand to get a good viewing point. We were on the sidewalk at first and then one of the cast members told us to go with him and we ended up getting a prime sideline spot! Overall, it was a really magical and wonderful experience but probably something I only need to do once in Paris. read more

Can't be a Disneyland Magic Key holder and not check out Disneyland Paris on my Paris vacation right? Disneyland Paris is pretty beautiful for sure, which is centered on the significantly larger Sleeping Beauty Castle in the middle of the park. Although Main Street seemed almost like a carbon copy of Main Street back at Disneyland in Anaheim, the rest are very much not. Frontierland, Adventureland, and Fantasyland have their own unique features, and Discoveryland was designed to not be a straight copy of Tomorrowland. The one thing I noticed was that park attendance was significantly lower than anything I would have seen at Disneyland or Walt Disney World. Most rides didn't have lines longer than 30 minutes, which was staggering to me. For those that don't feel like waiting, you can get Disney Premier Access on an a la carte basis or buy Disney Premier Access Ultimate and cut the line on EVERY ride. Kinda glad I didn't get Disney Premier Access Ultimate because there were a lot of rides I ended up skipping on. One thing I noticed is that the rides are significantly more rollercoaster heavy. Hyperspace Mountain is nothing like the Space Mountain versions as it is a legit rollercoaster with inversions (which I am very much NOT a fan of). Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril is also a rollercoaster, unlike the Disneyland version. Only thing that was fairly similar was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Only tried one food place and it was ok. Wish I had been able to get a reservation for dining, but those filled up pretty quickly. Full credit that tickets are way cheaper here. A one-day ticket for both parks was about $136...I wish tickets were that cheap back home. Everything is primarily French (obviously), but also in English as well. All the Cast Members here speak English too. Only weird thing for me was how the parades and the fireworks presentation at the end of the night was in French and English. Definitely nice to have visited here once, but there's no need to come back. Enough to do in Paris and I have plenty of Disneyland back home! read more

Starting off bad. so not impressed. Been to Disneyland in California now Disneyland in Paris and none of them can touch Disney World in Orlando Florida. It looks like a mid-level hotel staying in a resort not impressed. The hotel is old. The staff is not too friendly just really not impressed. you do not get that Disney welcoming when you come in. It's not as a friendly Happy place. Can't believe I travel from the US to here for Disneyland not impressed. To make matters worse if this place is not so freaking horrible waste of freaking money do not travel to this place here oh my gosh, they just gave me like the hardest time about a selfie stick. Ask the guy if I could just put a selfie stick in a locker no no no you can't have a selfie stick. I'm like well that's not on your Website or anything. Don't waste your money coming to Paris to Disney. Paris is overrated. read more

Checking Paris Disneyland off my Disney bucket list. I was excited and had high expectations for this visit but sadly I was disappointed. We bought 2 dated tickets for Magic Kingdom and Walt Disney Studio and uploaded them to the Paris Disney app. Pretty easy. Our visit was in late May and there was a good amount of people. Not like US spring break crowds but more like Labor Day or Presidents' Day weekend. There were pretty cool things that's not at the US parks like a dragon under the castle ( must see!), a pretty French village feel to the area where Ratatouille is, an awesome Sleeping Beauty castle, drone show. Also the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride totally blows away the US ones. You actually go under the lake! And Phantom Manor is a different experience. That said, all the positives end here. The rides seemed much shorter and some totally different ride. For example, my fave Indiana Jones was reduced to a jerky roll coaster ride with none of the background story. The park seemed grungier with trash on the walkways, the restrooms were not maintained- some stalls without toilet paper. Food was mediocre at best and the cast members not very friendly. Total opposite of Tokyo Disneyland! The Walt Disney Studio park was very small with very few rides. And the smoking! Despite no smoking signs, there were people vaping and smoking with no attempt of enforcing it. Hoping the parks in Shanghai and Hong Kong fare better FYI- it is relatively easy to get here on the RER red line- it's the last stop. read more
