Hired him to do re-modeling work..at first was good, but when it came time to paint the ceiling, it…read morewas a disaster because he didn't know what he was doing and the ceiling cracked and pieces were falling down on the floor. he always had a ridiculous excuse of why it happened.. and is easily offended when his errors are brought up to him...he installed (?) when it came to the tiles in my kitchen, he didn't have the grout high enough so the tiles were sticking out all uneven bad enough that I tripped 2x and the 3rd time I fell flat down on the tiles right in front of him and lost 8 days of work from the pain...he of course, laughed and asked if I tripped from my flip flops, and my response was NO it's because you didn't use enough grout and set the tiles correctly..he didn't seal them and the grout is cracking all over the kitchen and foyer...he also didn't use enough adhesive because the tiles were loose and were moving around...I had to hire another man to fix his inadequate work...he showed me the bottom of the tile where is was smooth and very little indication of adhesive used...also when you remove tiles, they break, he removed 12 tiles and 10 of them came up in one piece...he always has an excuse when asked a question, never admits when he made a mistake..he damaged a lot in my house and porch...he also likes to create work for himself. ie...after talking about removing the wallpaper up my stairway, we didn't come to a price, nor did he give me an estimate, but he started taking the wallpaper down, on his own and left it like that....he also brought his wife as a helper and she was snooping in my bedroom and bathroom.. where she had no business there..she also broke my daughters telephone cable for her modem and didn't tell me until the third time I went into the room and was trying to figure out why it wasn't working...she wasn't going to tell me, just let me find out for myself.. do yourself a favor and avoid a headache... I have to pay a guy $800.00 to redo the floor correctly.. he also painted my kitchen cabinets...painted the drawers inside halfway so that when you open them you see some paint and then the original wood...not professional.. there was also other instances where his work was not up to par...not enough room here go into detail....
