Less Than 1 Star! Unfortunately, I can't give less than one…read morestar--but if I could, I absolutely would. I stopped by Mr. Tea Boba & Coffee intending to order a regular hot coffee (offered in two sizes: small $3.89 and large $5.89). I was told the only milk option available was whole milk, as they had run out of alternatives. The experience quickly went downhill. The man at the counter refused to let me order a large and said I could only get a small. When I asked about adding caramel drizzle to their house coffee, he suddenly denied that order too. When I politely asked why, he told me it would be "too expensive for me." I then asked the price of a latte--he said it was a little over $5. I replied that I would gladly pay that amount for a house coffee with caramel drizzle instead. Still, he refused and repeated that it would be too expensive for me. I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and shocked by the interaction. This was not just poor service--it was offensive. I truly wish I could give zero stars.

Ordered an iced caramel latte for myself and a Thai boba for my husband. The latte was EXTREMELY…read moresweet. To the point it was undrinkable. I was hoping after a while the ice would make it more palatable, but no such luck. I had barely touched the drink. Since I was busy with our toddler my mom took it back to get a replacement or refund. They demanded the receipt, and when it was produced they agreed to the refund but refused to make a plain latte to replace it since "you didn't like it the first time." I'm very laid back and don't like asking for special accommodations at businesses, but this request should be the basic in customer service (and as someone who has many years in customer service myself, I would know). I've never witnessed such rude and unprofessional behavior. The owners/employees should be ashamed. Don't patronize this business that is run by people who obviously have zero respect for their customers. 0/10

Went recently in the early evening. Thought we were beating the dinner crowd in the shopping…read morecenter as parking can sometimes be a little crowded with 2 restaurants and surrounding retail, but parking was already filling up. Nice atmosphere. There were two small groups already there, and I get the impression it is kind of a hang-out for some high school/young adults. The staff was friendly, and even though we'd indicated we'd had boba tea before, they were great at giving the whole tea spiel. I'd seen lots of colorful teas and fruit and such online, but we were just looking for the standard milk teas, as a good one of those is essential. My daughter got a taro with boba which was going to be my pick, so I quickly chose the Cinnamon Roll from the wall, which is winter melon milk tea, winter melon and cinnamon (syrup) drizzle, and boba. The boba was still warm in the bottom of the cup, which was an interesting first for me. But the boba was generous, and the drizzle gave it a sweetness and flavor that definitely tasted like a cinnamon roll. My daughter said the taro was a little bland, and on sampling I kind of agree that the taro was a bit mild. I did have one issue with my cup. When I went to pick it up, I did so from the bottom and it splorted out the top of the straw; I felt like a kid with a juice box, though I definitely didn't pick it up with any type of Hulkish vice squeeze. I don't know if it was because of the warm boba or just a thinner cup that was softer to touch. Picking it up close to the top of the cup helped. I do like that there is a closer boba tea option than there ever used to be, and while it wasn't my absolute favorite boba tea of all time, it's definitely some place I'll return to try a few more of the traditional milk tea options.

There is plenty of table and couch sitting in the front and back of the store, and the side of the street it is on gives it so much natural light to the front sitting area. - Coffee: The coffee was excellent, and there were a ton of flavor and mix options. I also give them extra props for the extra non coffee drink options they had. - Food: The store had several pastry and treat options, but they also had full meal options. I was excited to see that they had so many breakfast choices. As the shop was about to close, we tried mostly treats. Specifically we tried the cheese straws, strawberry cake pops and peach pound cake. I enjoyed the cake, but I think the cake pop was my absolute favorite of the three. - Prices: while some of the treats were a little expensive, most of the main drink and food options were on par to other coffee shops. - Staff: The three girls we spoke to were an absolute delight, and so pleasant. - Merch: The store had a few items such as t-shirts, candles and mugs available I give this shop a 4/5 's and will definitely be back. It is thankfully on my route from current home to my old hometown, so hopefully I will get to see them again soon.
