I got a friendly server - he was more than happy to tell me about local transportation (they don't have Uber here) Good cold beer on tap (Hasseröder) You can sit inside on a cold day or you can go out under the umbrellas and heaters. I've stayed and dined at the Movenpick in Stuttgart, and it was good every time. So when I found myself lost in Hannover for an evening with no clue (or help from German yelpers), I reverted back to what I know true. Movenpick, you did me right. I found a seat at the bar and the friendly bartender (could've sworn she was 15 years old) offered me a menu and drink immediately. The setting is comfortable and warm. The menu is casual and understandable (for us crazy Americans). The schnitzel and a cold pils is a fine way to relax after a hard day of work. Trust me, you'll enjoy both very much. Also, do not forget that Movenpick is famous for its ice cream. You absolutely MUST ask for an ice cream menu when you're done and try a few flavors. A wonderful ending. read more
