I walked in and there was only 1 other customer. A gal leaves around the corner and waived me over to her counter. I noted that the place was spacious, bright, and a little cheerful. It's the common look of most spots in South Florida from what I have seen. She got right to it and went over the options. She was plenty cheerful and quite helpful. A manager had to come over to help with something at one point and he was great too. He said it had been a madhouse and that I was a little lucky the hour that I had stopped in. Things were good to go pretty quick, and I was on my, grateful that I had popped into the right place at the right time.

I've always chosen Rise over other places because the quality is great and, until recently, the staff has always been kind and helpful. Today was completely different. I called ahead and explained that I do not currently have a car because I was in an accident, and that I was waiting on a Lyft to get there. I was told they would stay open and help me. Then, when I arrived and was literally pulling up, the employees saw me and ran out of the store to their cars. I understand businesses have closing times. What I do not understand is telling a customer you'll wait, being rude and passive aggressive on the phone, and then leaving while watching that customer arrive, especially after I explained my situation. The way this was handled was beyond disappointing and honestly disgusting. Since the previous manager left, the customer service at this location has noticeably gone downhill. I have always loved Rise, but today made me feel completely disrespected as a loyal customer. I hope management takes this seriously, because this is not how frequent customers should be treated.

I picked up 4oz of shake (which is weird because I only shouldve been able to pick up 2 according to "the law" not that Im complaining. But I didnt even have any idea it would count as flower, I still feel like it shouldnt have Ive had friends pick up shake to smoke specially because I guess it doesnt count as flower at other dispensaries. I called to ask and they told me it does count or whatever so idk how they did it to check out all 4oz but hey, thanks. I dont know how to feel about having to wait about another 3weeks before I can buy more flower but you cant always win. I use my shake to infuse butter and oils and I made some fire pastries today. Cooking and infused edibles is a lot of how I medicate so its good to know this dispensary has reliable product in that sense most of the shake looked like kief barely any stem or clippings something I would probably still pay full price for and I got mine on April sale so it was a steal. Im looking forward to seeing if the flower is as good as the product in other states up north seem like theyre different brand down here but so far what I picked up didn't disappoint. Have not tried their cartridges, gels or concentrates.
