I've always had very good luck with the fresh deli services as well as all the meals they make they make it easy cause sometimes they marked them down and I take salad and stuff to work in my nursing job and they still taste really fresh after two days. I live about 20…read moremiles away, and we're used to a smaller Market Basket in Warner and a competing store from a Maine-based conglomerate based in our hometown, which shelves often resemble a grocery store in the old Soviet Union. This store is gigantic. Not only that, but it's ready-to-go food sections are immense. Extremely well, equipped, full shelves, great variety of organic products, a huge meat section, an entire containers full of frozen fish, in addition to fresh seafood at the meat counter. I found the service to be excellent, with numerous people ambling by filling their carts while busy employees, restocked shelves consistently. For the life of me, I don't understand why this grocery chain does not have self checkout aisles. I invariably do my own to make sure that my vegetables are not bruised or damage when I get home, which usually is the case when I go through a checkout counter. I really like this place.
