I've had my walls painted in the den, living room, hallway, and entry hall. the painter also painted my cabinets on site, and did an amazing job. He indicated he didn't know what type paint the contractor used, because it wasn't oil based because when he sanded it, it had a powdery feel to it, oil base wouldn't do that. He also stated if I hadn't painted my cabinets, I wouldn't be able to wash them. They were not smooth,and had a dull finish with powdery substance on it. On a second note, he stated that the contractor did a great job with backsplash, Mosaic, flooring, building cabinets, and did a good job painting walls and ceilings, and didnt need a redo, and I agree. I paid the contractor $1350 for the painting of the rooms, and $2500 for the painting of the cabinets. Once again it is sad that the contractor cannot contact me concerning these issues or take responsibility. But if he can live with it so can I.

They did an amazing job and were done quickly just in time for Christmas. The house was left in very clean condition which is a plus as some contractors leave a lot of debris and dust. However, we have a huge den with a 12-foot ceiling, and it was more than I wanted to tackle or even had the time to do so. I knew there was quite a bit of wall and ceiling repair needing to be done, too, prior to painting. So, this time around, I decided to hire professionals to do the job. Our flooring guy recommended 1st Class Painting and Restoration, assuring us they'd do a great job. After getting a few quotes, we opted to go with them. As a couple who hates to deal with contractors and therefore does most of the home improvement jobs ourselves, I can only say I wish all contractors were as easy to work with as 1st Class. It was a smooth process from start to finish. Getting someone out here to give us a quote was done quickly. Getting us on the schedule that was conducive to our timeline was also super easy. We were told the painters would arrive between 8:30-9:30 a.m. each day, but they were here no later than 8:15 a.m. Early arrival is something that never happens with contractors! The crew worked nonstop (except for their lunch break) for the two days it took them to repair the damaged areas, sand and then paint the ceiling, walls and trim. I'm still amazed that they got it done so quickly! It'd have taken me at least a solid month of working every Saturday and Sunday from dawn to dusk to do the same job. The room looks awesome! I love the paint color that I chose, and they did a great job applying it to the walls. The ceiling, the crown molding, the baseboards, and the other trim all look brand new, too. I did not know a reputable painter, as my previous painter retired. After meeting Price while walking my dog one day, he explained that he had a painting company. The trim on my then 63-year old house was in need of pressure washing and a new coat of paint, so I asked Price if he would be interested in this work. After getting Price's estimate for the work, we agreed to get started. There is always more than meets the eye, whether it is exterior or interior painting. Price took great care in pressure washing, sanding, spackling and painting the trim. He was meticulous, professional, fair and pleasant. I knew I had made a good decision in choosing his company to do this work! Meanwhile, the interior of my home had not been painted in about 10 years. I was two months away from being able to move in and wanted fresh paint in a different color, and all the ceilings painted while the house was empty. Price met me the day of the home inspection and we discussed the particulars. I could tell in the first five minutes that he was a professional and I felt confidence in him right away, which was important since I wouldn't be on site during the work. He and his crew painted the ceilings and repaired the walls which were a mess, then painted. A point of great customer service was that I requested that old light fixtures, drapery hardware, and a ceiling fan be removed and they did this for me.
