That said, I'd encourage anyone considering this charter to know that the price they quote you isn't the full price -- they also require a captain's fee of $60/hour. Unfortunately, the day before our charter (end of June), a cold front came through. They called to let us know they'd had to cancel charters the day before due to weather, but that ours would still go on, just later in the day. With temperatures in the low 50s and the water even colder, we made the difficult decision to cancel -- it just wasn't safe or comfortable for kids to be in the water. That's when we learned our $500 deposit was non-refundable, and we might even still owe the captain's fees. I could understand keeping the deposit if it meant they lost the chance to book another charter that day -- but that wasn't the case. No boats were out on the lake due to the cold; everyone on shore was bundled up in sweatshirts and jackets. Honestly this experience left us feeling scammed. I would think twice before booking this charter in advance.

You're probably wondering is this guy legit? That's what I wondered…read more Short answer: Yes he's just disorganized and isn't the best communicator, but will give you a killer jet ski experience. Probably, your only option for a last minute jet ski (all other places in Tahoe get booked in advance). Long answer: he was a pain to communicate with. Lot of back and forth and waiting around. Then he wanted me to book online. On top of that, it's at a local beach that's exclusives to locals of Incline Village, so he has to guest pass you in, unless you have an Incline Village pass. He'll make you book on his website. Don't do it until you actually see him and confirm he's taking you. Also, there's an extra $15/ per person charge on his website that is very unclear - not cool. Once you actually get to the beach, it's a blast. He gets you on awesome jet skiis and freely let's you explore all over the lake without any boundaries. That made it worth it and a fantastic end to our Tahoe trip.

Living in Reno, this has become my favorite way to spend time on the lake and when guests visit in the summer months, I have been taking them on this cruise. I've experienced the Mimosa Cruise and they are great at making sure your cup is constantly refreshed. The charcuterie board was very minimal and basic so I suggest eating before or bringing snacks with you to absorb the mimosas. I have also experienced the live music cruise but 10 min before boarding, I received a text saying the musician had double booked so there would be no live music and they offered $20 a person refund which to me seemed a bit ridiculous since the whole purpose of the live music cruise is live music. I felt like a better refund should have been offered or a coupon for 50% off the next cruise. The captain is a lively man and the two women who help steer the boat and serve drinks are great and a lot of fun. I will add that I before purchasing tickets for the first time, I called and left a message because I wanted to verify where the pickup location would be but no one called me back. Also, though I have fun on the cruise and plan to go again, I am a bit worried about the communication and policy of this company after reading other reviews that their cruise was canceled and they had a hard time getting refunded especially after my experience of no live music on a live music cruise and being told last minute and only receiving a small refund.
