Great experience renting a jet ski from here. The two things that make me nervous renting boating/water equipment is (1) the complex paperwork/threat of huge fines/ding you for something that's not your fault, (2) the low-tech / manual / not sure what to expect process. Both were the easiest - paperwork was simple, reasonable understanding of consequences/fees/what happens if x occurs. Also, everything was easy to understand, book, and fill out online. It took me 5 minutes to do everything and when I got there, it was a hello, simple instructions, and on my way to the jetski. Definitely coming back! read more

Very unprofessional. Asked about hourly rates for jet skis and was told we could rent 2 jet skis for 4 people. 5 minutes later husband was told we could only rent one because the jet skis were very low on fuel and to come back in 15 minutes when the jet ski was ready. When we came back, we were told we could no longer get on as it was a risk, however they continued to let people go out on jet skis for over an hour while "being on low fuel" and telling us that it was a hazard. All around a great experience! We booked a tandem jet ski ahead of time and filled out the waiver online. We were able to find street parking and the location easily. They are located just behind Whitecaps pizza. The check in process was very smooth and they were able to store valuables like my keys and wallet at the shack. After a short walk to the water we were given clear and easy instructions and we were on our way. There is a compartment on the jet ski to store small items like your phone, hat, or sunglasses. We had a BLASTTTTTT! We chose to rent for an hour, and it was the perfect amount of time for two people to switch off driving. I would also recommend going earlier in the day when the lake isn't as choppy. I would definitely come back and do this again! read more

Very unprofessional manager. Spoke to Karey regarding my past experiences with another person before pandemic. I used to go there a lot and use this company to book for Jet Ski rental. Unfortunately this is first horrible experience I had and first time talking to Manager regarding my booking. I was offer with better deals last time for my birthday and this time since we are renting multiple jet ski and celebrating birthday, I nicely asked her if there is any deals and she said nobody ask around for deals like me and don't expect anything from them now and in the future and she mad fun of me. She was talking to other people in the background as well before answering my called. She laughed at me and said I'll cancel your reservation and she just did. We are celebrating my nephew birthday who just will be turning 10. We don't care about deals or discount. I.just asked because previous manager seem nice and had offer us without us asking. Will never go back again. Love the Jet Ski and king beach but will not go back to this company again. Ruined kid birthday. Other places are now booked too. Don't get me wrong. Employees are much professional than her and nicer and this is my first time writing reviews on social media because she is extremely rude and not considering kids at all. MY FIRST TIME ON A JET SKI!!!!! And I was scared as hell. It was so exciting and quite the opportunity. We rented a jetski from the Tahoe Aquatic Center for $100 for an hour and it was worth every penny. My guy splurged so I can cross another thing off my bucket list of things I want to do. :) My guy started it up first and we took it out to the middle of Lake Tahoe. That's when it hit me, I was such a little fish in a big pond. The view was incredible, although I was so nervous being out there. We drove back in and I gave it a shot. Just came back from Kings Beach, Tahoe. Celebrating my boyfriend's birthday I decided to rent a jet ski for him. He had an amazing time as did I. We rented the 155hp jet ski for 2 hours and was worth the $$$. Called ahead of time to make a reservation on a Sunday at 9:30am. And was very glad I did because they were busy after 10:30am. And if you rent a jet ski before 11am or after 5pm you get $10 off per hour. The staff was super friendly and gave clear instructions on what to do. I would definitely recommend them for rentals. We arrived and they had our jet skis ready and the staff was very friendly and thorough. Rented a jet ski on Sunday that I reserved and prepaid online. I was immediately emailed a link to the forms needed prior for the rental. We have five people planning to ride it during the rental period so that was very helpful. The form was short and easy to execute. When we got there my reservation was noted, no lines, no waiting. They checked the forms, handed us our life jackets and we were on our way. Rotating riders was easy and fast, no hassles or questions, the jet ski was top notch. The employees were polite and extremely helpful. We go to Tahoe a lot and I will only rent for Tahoe Aquatic Center from now on. Great experience. read more

Excellent ski-doos (not just clunky 3-seaters), friendly and helpful staff, competitively priced (for Lake Tahoe). Lots of fun on the lake. For most people one hour will be enough. Leave enough time to get there and to find parking. Only issue was that online advance waiver signing for my party of four didn't work. Although I received email confirms that e-signatures were completed, when we showed-up the Center did not have a record of them. Wasn't a big deal but another reason to allow enough time pre-ride. Went here on a random Saturday with two other friends after eating all you can eat lobsters at boomtown. We called and booked three 150hp jet skis on the same day and we were in luck since they had jet skis ready to go at 5pm perfect time since the clouds were coming in (no sunblock). This was my second time jet skiing my first time was in Thailand. These boats hands down were wicked as hell. I pushed the Sport button on the ski and maxed out 67mph. I recommend rented the skis for 60 min since 30 min is not enough. I paid $108 for 1 hr and I'd say it worth it compared to ATVing. Definitely coming back next summer! read more

I love this place!! It is I believe a family owned business. Both employees provided our group excellent service! They were super friendly, welcoming, and caring. I would definitely go back and rent jetskis from them when we come back to King Beach :D It was awesome! They provide a 1 2 and 3 jet ski rider and the jetskis they have are awesome! High speed/turbo ones! They take pride on their jetskis! The location is beautiful! They don't restrict you on where you can jet ski. Once you pass the drive way, you can go as fast as you want and as far as you want as long as you can get back to the dock lol. They look after your valuable items too! So you are worry free when you're flying through the waves out there! Also, provides chairs for friends and family who will be watching from the shore! My 2 boys -- ages 18 & 20 -- rented jet skis yesterday. The support and equipment was first rate, the lake was calm and they had a wonderful experience. The only challenge was finding the Check-In counter, and as others have explained, it is not obvious from the main road. I parked a few blocks north in a public space near the boat landing, and walked south down the Beach to come at it from the water. If you are coming in from the road, look for the Java Coffee shop and walk past it towards the water -- you will not miss them if you do that. Highly recommended! read more

Excellent customer service. I have been jet skiing several times but find most jet ski businesses to be arrogant. This place offers $10 discount if you rent before 11 am or after 5 pm. Our rental was after 5 pm but the Lake was rough/ wavy. We used up 45 minutes of our rental time. The staff was kind enough to give us credit for 15 minutes that we could use the next day. They also gave us bonus time since we rent one ski between three people but were only able to have 2 people on the skiing at a given time (since the lake was rough in the evening). When we got there the next day to use our 15 minute credit, they gave us a bonus 15 minutes (total of 30 minutes)! Plus we go upgraded to a high power jet ski. We had a blast jets skiing on lake.
