AVOID AVOID AVOID !!…read more Madelaine is a BS artist. She, the firm's owner, and the entire firm will ghost you once they get your payment !! Avoid this "law" firm at ALL COSTS!! These people are the most difficult, dishonest, and arrogant people I have EVER worked with in my 30+ years of professional life. They will 100% talk a good talk in order for you to send them money but the second they have it good luck getting them to do what they say they will. They will tell you everything you want to hear during your free consultation because their goal is to get you to send them money to hire them. Once they have the money you sent them, they will ghost you and not return your emails at all. You can CC the head of this firm and he too will not reply nor will care at all that his underlings are refusing to answer your emails, refusing to pick up the phone despite being in the office, and refusing to return your calls. I hired this firm thinking they sounded really good on the phone and also good in an online video chat despite my partner telling me she didn't trust Madelaine and "something was off with her" during my initial video chat with her prior to hiring her and the firm. Madelaine is an expert talker and is trained to talk the talk in order to get you to hire them. That's her job. To get the money in and then she will disappear on you! She will initially promise you frequent communication and will promise you that she will do what is needed on their end within a short period of time but weeks will go by and you'll hear nothing from her or anyone else at the firm. I heard nothing from them for weeks that then turned into a couple months. These people have zero respect for their clients and only care to grab that money you have. They WILL try to manipulate and gas light you that it is YOU or YOUR CASE PARTICULARS that is the problem on why they have not done the work you paid them to do. *** There are a suspicious number of reviews on here that speak about their "great communication" and specifically Madeleine's good communication with clients. I find these reviews to be EXTREMELY suspect in that they claim to be positive on the EXACT things the firm and MADELAINE herself have been proven to not do at even a moderate level of satisfaction let alone the extraordinary level these suspect reviews claim. Like master manipulators they are sneaky enough to try to gas light you in thinking "well how is it the exact things they failed to do for me are the exact things these people claim this firm and MADELAINE are exceptional at doing for others?" This appears to be something they have mastered in their game to get your money and then have plausible deniability on anything OVERTLY illegal hoping no one will file a report with the Ontario law society and other entities that exist to monitor people like this. They will hide from you and ghost you after they take your money. Then they will have the audacity to say something like, "well your case has some difficult elements to them and that is why we cannot proceed" BUT THEY WILL TAKE ALL OF THE MONEY YOU SENT THEM AND CLAIMED IS TO FINISH YOUR CASE IN ITS ENTIRETY minus a tiny court filing fee. There are MANY good legal firms out there... DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, HIRE THESE PEOPLE. You will 100% regret it especially if you read this review. I would be VERY VERY suspicious of the google reviews on here especially the ones claiming that MADELAINE provided them a good experience and was a good communicator!! It is simply too convenient that the very things they were terrible at are the things that get wrote about in these reviews as them being exceptional. They appear to be cover for what they will do to you and what they did to me. As of the time of me writing this review I am reporting my experience with them to the law society of Ontario among every other relevant body.
