I ordered a upgraded sympathy bouquet after the death of a family member. James called me prior to pick up and let me know that they were low on a certain color. He also guaranteed me that there would be the other 2 main flowers in the color that I ordered. Upon arrival, none of the 3 main flowers were in the bouquet. It was filled with mostly filler flowers of lesser value, and in a completely different vase than the one that was ordered. It looked decent, but was nothing like the bouquet I paid for. I did not appreciate being lied to you, especially after they had 1 out of 3 main flowers that were needed in the fridge. He offered me only 1. The photo of the upgraded bouquet I paid for had at least 5 of them. No thank you! Still waiting on my $87 refund. Decent looking flowers if you can actually get what you paid for. Customer service definitely lacking. If you don't have what we paid for, please be honest with your customers so they can look elsewhere. Especially while in mourning. A little sympathy goes a long way. So disappointing. Luckily, we found exactly what we were looking for with another local florist. read more

My daughter ordered flowers (not sure where). She sent me a pic and we got a totally different arrangement. Blake took my call, showed me the order form his designers got (vague, no flowers listed except "roses". The pictures show the story. He immediately offered a new arrangement delivered immediately. Blake's staff made the drive 30 mins to bring me the new gorgeous, very fresh, beautiful bouquet and gave incredible service to make me happy. I'm not from Nacogdoches and chose Nacogdoches Floral completely at random. I request a funeral arrangement in a specific color scheme and with a specific flower included. The only other instruction was to make it pretty. They fulfilled all my requests and the arrangement was beautiful. I would recommend Nacogdoches Floral and use them again. read more

I'm torn regarding this review. I'm giving three stars because the customer service was very good. I ordered a specific arrangement for my mother's birthday and confirmed that they did in fact have the flowers, vase, etc to create the arrangement because I have had issues before with florists just sending random arrangements that look nothing like the photos. This particular arrangement was a Zen arrangement so it included orchids and was supposed to be modern and delicate. First problem, they called the day it was to be delivered and the orchids were not available. Their shipment included the wrong orchids. OK, well it's for a birthday delivery on that day...so they offered to send an alternate arrangement and send the one I chose the following day not great but what else could I do?! I'm in another city and there weren't a lot of options. Fine. So they sent some azaleas which my mother says she will re-plant. But, I have to explain to my mother this isn't what I really sent you, you'll get that tomorrow! Ugh! Day 2, the actual arrangement arrives and my mother sends me a picture...seriously?! You know the feeling when you take a photo to a hair stylist and they proceed to do something completely different? Yep, only with a florist you pay in advance! With a stylist you can maybe speak to the manager if it's not too much of a hack job and have it re-cut by someone with some skill before you pay! How hard is it to look at a photo and recreate it?! Apparently it's nearly impossible. Oh, and they put the orchids totally under water!!! Not sure why...they sent no care instructions probably because they'll die from drowning. Orchids should be in a humid environment not a pond. read more

James is the nicest manager, and will do everything within his power to make sure you leave with a positive experience!! Something that I think more businesses should take to heart!! I currently live in Austin and my fiance is a student at SFA. I wanted to surprise her with some flowers and from the very beginning James made sure he got every detail in order to make the surprise happen just the way I needed to. I went into Nacogdoches Floral to get a small nosegay done for my daughter who is getting married Friday. Yes, it was short notice and this weekend is mother's day and apparently prom. However they would not give me the time of day there. I was told they "won't" because of the above reasons and gave me the brush off. What they failed to realize it that my son will be getting married next year and my daughter will be having a larger wedding after her soon to be husband returns from deployment overseas. Ordered what I thought was a beautiful pink flowering plant for $86 online from Proflowers.com for my aunts funeral. What was delivered was NOT what was advertised! What this florist delivered was a cheap ivy looking plant with four, maybe five white dying daisies! Very, very disappointed and will NEVER use this florist or proflowers.com again! If I could figure out how on my phone I would post the pictures! Very sad this florist took advantage of my out of state stays and sent a shoddy, at best, ivy! Shame! read more
