She responded to each person in such a calming and understanding way making each person feel heard. I knew she would be a great Therapist, and ultimately in my case, a Divorce Coach (yes, there is such a thing). Nancy helped me digest what was coming at me from my now ex-husband. There was a lot to filter through and Nancy truly helped me see "the forrest for the trees" - which is something you've got to do with divorce. I felt like she was my ally at all times. She helped guide me through every step of the divorce process calming me down when I needed it and opening my eyes when I needed that too. She was painfully correct regarding a lot of issues which I was unwilling to see at the time. Never was I made to feel like there was something wrong with me because I couldn't see clearly. She was incredibly helpful with creating a Parenting Plan and helped me with my kids. Not knowing what to say or how to say it you need someone who understands children and the courts to help you do and say what you can to protect them. I can honestly say that there is no way I would have walked away from my divorce with the strength and clarity I had without Nancy. I will be forever grateful to that Divorce Workshop for putting her in my path.

When I was trying to get ahold of Mednikov I'd never hear back: I had to keep calling and calling…read moreto get through to her (I can only imagine how she makes her patients in crisis feel)... I always felt rushed when my then husband and I were seeing her for couple's therapy. The culmination was when she advised me to file for divorce (not such a bad advice, after all), but AN ADVISE from a psychologist who claims to be a professional? Seriously? Is that ethical? After I filed for divorce, a court mediator asked Mednokov to provide her with information about our visits. The information that Mednikov submitted didn't align with the truth, which made me think that she either didn't keep records of our conversations at all (despite the fact that she had my emails to refer to), was too "busy" to refresh her memory, or something else happened... By twisting the truth, a clinical psychologist can really, REALLY damage a person's reputation in court, especially when it comes to a child custody! Luckily, it didn't happen to me, yet Mednikov's "mistake" cost me a few thousand dollars in attorney fees. I wanted to warn EVERYONE against seeing this so-called "professional".
