We just left this place and NEVER again, I originally had 2 pedicures, 1 manicure and 1 fill booked for my daughter and I. We came here because we seen they had kid pedicure chairs. We arrived at our appointment time to a very dirty salon... I sat down first and the nail tech was too busy watching a movie on his phone with an AirPod in while doing my nails and cut my cuticles multiple times. He asked me "coffin shape" I said yes and definitely have square nails. My daughter (4) picked her nail colors ,pink and red, and asked for a little heart as well. Her nails ended up all pink with rainbow hearts, which is not what she asked for. When we left there was nail polish on the sides of my fingers. I wish I would have stuck to my gut on going somewhere with a low rating. if I could give 0 stars I would. the gentleman who was doing my pedicure didn't seem to know what he was doing and was on his phone a lot. the water in the tub was cold he left old polish on my toes didn't cut the cuticles but did the actions as if he were. did only one coat of paint and didn't even paint my whole nail on a few of my toes and the bottoms of my heals are all cut up and look horrible. word of advice DO NOT GO HERE. waste of money and they new I was unhappy and did nothing to fix it. read more

started going to this nail shop last year. I was new to the area when I found it online. My first couple times coming I let a guy do my nails. He was ok but quick to refer you to someone else. Ivy was who he referred me to. I liked the first fill in she provided. So the next 6 months I went to her faithfully every 4 wks. After about the 3rd time she did my fill in I decided to get a soak off and start over with my nails. When she did my new set I had 4 nails break. I was tempted to go somewhere else but decided to give her another chance. This time I asked her to make ny nails thicker because the last time they were to thin. ( I wear my nails long) She said ok and made my nails too thick. During that time I had nails lifting off my finger not breaking off but falling off, the whole nail. I even brought the nail with me to show this isn't normal. She stated because water was getting under ny nails that's why they were popping off. She stated I could of came in I got a repair but at this point I was loosing my patience. I told her that i had been getting my nails done for 25 plus years and i know certain things about nails too. She became really offended and began to argue with me as she did my fill in. Needless to say after that i took my money somewhere else. When I get to the new shop I notice this black discoloration on my nails. The nail tech removed the overlay and we were both MORTIFIED!! I HAVE FUNGI ON 2 OF MY NAILS!! It came from moisture getting under my nails and instead of Ivy taking the overlay off she kept refilling my nails. I could of lost my FINGERS!! This place is a joke. They change their prices all the time. They make them up as you go. The people there that does the pedicures LAZY!! The techs there try and force you to get No Chip because they don't know how to work with regular polish. If you get a basic pedicure they do the bare minimum. I mean one girl said they don't clean under your toenail unless you need it. KEEP YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! How are they still in business doing this. read more

Everyone was courteous & professional. It was a last minute decision to get a pedicure & then changed to a mani/pedi. There are so many options if you really want to treat yourself. I had the Royal Bliss Pedi that included a sea salt scrub of legs & feet to remove dead cells & dry skin. This is followed by massage, paraffin & hot towel treatments. It's not your average pedicure & well worth the $35. I pay that for basic pedicures elsewhere. There's a tropical paradise option that sounded just like that & also a milk & honey option. I was serviced very well by Shay & Bianca - These ladies get down to business & get you in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. I love my 24 Karat Gold polish! I had my no chip manicure not even 24 hours ago and as you can see they have already chipped on 6 of my 10 nails. I have never had this happen at any other salon. We waited over an hour to get our manicures and I felt the time or care was not provided as should have been. I decided to stop there today and show them my nails and asked for a refund. I was denied instantly, advised to sit down, and they would be with me shortly. Not even an apology. They were obviously annoyed. Being there were 5 ladies ahead of me today, I knew I did not have another hour to waste, and politely asked if I could either have a refund or a gift certificate to come at a time more suitable for me. I wish I could give this place negative stars, that's how bad it was. I stopped in here after a horrible day, to treat myself. I wanted to pamper myself a bit, so I signed in for a pedi and full set of acrylics. Although the pedi was great and the young lady who did it was lovely, the acyrlics are where things got ugly. The staff traded me off to a young man who tried to persuade me to do a full set of gel nails (roughly double the price). When I politely said no thank you, but thanks for offering he was VERY rude and told me that "acrylics are outdated and cheap." I also politely (i am a friendly person!) asked him to apply them thin and trim them short, he said, verbatim, "Oh you want them short and thin? Okay, I can do that, but don't come back and complain when they break in two days!" Again, I had a terrible day and when all this happened, I must have looked like I was going to start bawling, as he started back peddling hardcore. He then asked if I was a first time customer (yeah, first and last) and feigned, congeniality in a fashion I would describe as Montgomery Burns-esque, when I said yes. I Stopped in twice as a walk-in customer to get a no chip manicure. Tam and V were the two young ladies who attended me and they are both great! I'm very satisfied with the quality of work and speed of service. They were both very courteous and friendly and offered good suggestions in regards to choosing a nail color and design that fit best to my liking. The salon is huge and very clean. Both times I went was on a Friday night and it was full of customers, which says they are doing something right. I only waited 15mins both times and if you don't want to wait go before 4pm on a Friday :) I Found out Business is under new management and I plan on coming back! read more

Only Giving it a 2 star for V for deserves 5 stars tho. I didn't have much of an issue with this salon up until the last time I went in to get a fill in. To give some back story I've gone here roughly around 20/30 times since I've moved to this area of Hobart. Each time my nails aren't ever done with any wow factor. I bring in designs or pick colors and they're just done with mediocre work tbh. Nothing special at all about. Girls here seem eh nice enough but obviously had attitudes in certain situations. The last woman who did my nails didn't have any tools, nail polishes, or anything of her own like the other girls I've been too. I would even dare to say she doesn't have a real nail license. She did honestly a terrible job but she was obviously a struggling mother and I felt for her and let it go. I had gotten ombré nails from her that literally turned fucking YELLOW 3 days after getting them done. No I don't tan and I don't take any medications or anything it was the polish she used and her poor work. But again I let it go even tho she charged for 60 bucks plus I gave her a tip for basic ombré nails at normal length something I've paid 35 bucks for at this very salon. Again I let it go and decided she would just never do my nails again. Now coming to why I'm just over this place all together. The last I went in I called at 430 asking if they closed at 5 like on the website or what. Since sometimes they're wrong. The manager spoke to me she said yes but for me to come in. I said oh no I can come first thing in the morning I don't want to trouble anyone my nails aren't for anything special. The MANAGER insisted I come she said she didn't usually leave until 6. So I drove arrive at about 4:50. I walked in to be greeted extremely rude and I quote " oh no girl you need to leave we are closed" and I responded "the manager told me to come in, but if she isn't available that's cool" I stood there with no response until the woman who I doubt has a license who did my nails last time says to the girl who said they're closed " I don't like that bitch" which was extremely ignorant I have MANY issues first off IM THE CUSTOMER, SECOND OFF YOURE THE FUCKING EMPLOYEE AND A TERRIBLE ONE AT THAT. 3rd YOU ENJOYED MY TIP "BITCH" so stfu. And lastly I did not inconvenience her or any other employee since the manager did my nails and had planned on doing my nails. So what the issue was idk but to be treated so damn ignorantly is unreal. Not to mention when I was there one of the employees yelled at a little girl for grabbing paper towels resulting in making the child cry. Give this child was NOT her child! It was a very hostile, awkward and just all around not great environments However V was terrific she apologized for her girls assuming she heard there commotion when I came in not sure if she heard what was said to me. She was polite, Time efficient, did above average job which I didn't think was possible for the salon, and was funny. So for that I give 2 stars even tho V deserve 5. If I even return she will be the only one to touch my nails. Also the one woman who was there who had glasses and sandy blonde hair ( not Angel) she was the one yelled at the little girl the other one. She even commented on the other employees an their ignorance and lack of good work ethic to the manger. I assume whoever she is that she is a good employee. Also to note she was with the other two woman who had an issue when I came in and she is the only one who got up and got V and wasn't rude to me for no reason. Everyone had bad days understandably so but when you already do shitty work your attitude can't lack. They really need to fire some of these woman and get better nail techs in here it would turn the salon around drastically! read more

I was in the area and needed my nails done quickly. First off it took a ridiculously long time to get my nails done. Everyone was super sweet and rose told me she had to fix my nails because the fill in wasn't done very well and would get water in. She chopped random chunks of nail off and then just put acrylic on top. By the time I got home and got ready for my Halloween party I had two nails completely chip off (there was no fake nail on it anymore just my nail with acrylic) and three nails the paint rubbed off. I feel bad because they were very sweet people but to pay $45 for a fill in and a polish change on my toes and then have it all chip off within five hours?!? That's not ok. And now I have to pay someone else to fix these broken nails! read more

The nail tech with her broken English had the nerve to get an attitude in her language because I asked how do they clean their tools. I asked if they use auto claves and she couldn't even respond. Apparently, they do, but her husband just didn't know the term for the machine. I asked if she could do my nails and she said come back in two or three hours. There was no one waiting and both nail techs were tending to customers, which would not require a two to three hour wait. The husband told me to do some shopping and pick up my kids , take them to my husband and come back. Well that was a compliment because my kids are grown. It sucks that Asians come to this country and take over the nail business, but have horrible attitudes. There are too many viruses out here and people have a right to know how their tools are cleaned. read more

YELP -- Why can't we give ZERO STARS?? As in, Ain't no way that's ever happening to me again! WARNING!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! It was AWFUL!!! The place should be called Spa from Hell. My sister and I were in from out of town attending a wedding. We had an early appointment for a mani-pedi, and the place wasn't busy. Pedicure was too rough, but okay, and the guy was very gentle with my recently broken toe. However, when I asked for a French No Chip Manicure...well, let's just say I entered the gates of Hell. After some confusion as to who was available to do a French manicure, I was seated in front of a man (not the pedicurist) who was visibly annoyed. He immediately started working on my nails very hurriedly. Long story short...he did not do as I asked even though I tried to clarify that I did NOT want stark white tips - 3 times! He would only nod his head and say, "French, yeah, yeah." and wave his hand dismissively. I got the distinct impression that he was either angry or disgusted. My sister was sitting next to me and witnessed it all. I looked at her manicurist for help, but she immediately put her head down and pretended not to hear. (If it was a language problem, he sure didn't make an effort to find out what I wanted, even though there are native English speakers working there.) At this point, I didn't want him even touching me, but we were halfway through the ordeal so I stuck it out, assuming he'd do something at the end to soften it up. Wrong! He threw on a clear topcoat, wrapped up his tools and disappeared. I was even angrier when I was charged a premium for this terrible lack of respect, never mind "service." Afterwards, my sister and I had business at the bank across the parking lot and, as I was trying to decide whether I should go back and complain to the manager, who did we spot a few people ahead of us in line? The very same jerk, withdrawing a bunch of money out of his account. I now assume he's the owner, so there's no use complaining to him, right? So don't go here. Don't let that man touch your nails. IT WAS AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Please note that I've never given a bad review. I try to see the positive in every experience. And, judging from what I've just read from others, this has been going on for YEARS! How are they still in business? My question now is...What's their real business?? Worst nail salon I have EVER been to. Stopped in today to get a fill and no chip manicure. The male technician that did my fill was obnoxious, didn't listen to what I wanted and looked at me like I grew a 3rd eye when I told him I wanted the no chip on top of the fill. He said he couldn't do it, a female tech came by as I got up to leave and said he would do it. I sat back down and he again said he couldn't. He did a terrible fill, also. The whole place is filthy and they just sit around and play with their cell phones or smoke in the doorway. I will never go back there again! This place is decently new. It's close to the mall so I stopped in for a mani-pedi and fell in love! Everyone is so friendly and the shop is beautiful and clean! There are tons of types of pedicures and ways to do the nails. The massage chairs are to die for and my nails came out beautiful.
