The owner, May, was absolutely horrific when dealing with an issue I had where one of her techs drilled into my nail bed and left an open wound on my finger. First she tried to charge me for the service to fix the issue, when I told her that I did not expect to pay for her fixing the problem she became extremely rude toward me in front of all the other customers and staff. The only apologies I received were from the other guests who witnessed this interaction. I am now at another salon that had to book multiple appointments to safely work on my nails due to the extent of the damage. I won't ever be coming here again. I asked for a deep French tip and showed a picture and you can clearly see the length and shape in that picture from Google. You can see that my toes look nothing like the picture at all. Not to mention gel is $20 extra???!!! In what world. DO NOT GO HERE! This was hands down the worst customer experience I've ever had. Not only did the staff (Sophia) completely damage my nail and even my fingertip, but they were also shockingly rude when I tried to address the issue. When I asked to speak to the owner, they told me to leave in the most disrespectful way possible! To make matters worse, when I was waiting at the counter to speak with the owner, one of the ladies falsely claimed to be the owner and came up to me to check the damage they caused to my hand. She then rudely pushed my arm away! Unbelievable behavior for a customer-facing role. Sophia and this other lady absolutely has no place working with people. I felt extremely disrespected and humiliated. No one should ever have to go through this kind of treatment. Adding insult to injury, both Sophia and the other lady had the audacity to accuse me of fabricating the situation to avoid payment. This baseless claim is utterly absurd, especially considering I didn't even receive any completed service from them. I halted the process immediately after they damaged my first finger--see the attached picture for evidence. This is not a review out of spite--this is a genuine recall of everything that happened. If the owner cannot uphold proper behavior from their employees, I can't imagine how this place even serves the public. They clearly have no understanding of customer service basics and showed no remorse for ruining my nail, my finger, and my entire day. I left feeling insulted, hurt, and completely disappointed. I was seen right away, the nail tech was really friendly and listened to what I wanted and I was pretty happy with the results compared to how much I paid. The acrylic itself was a little on the thicker side but nothing too crazy. I was a little grossed out with some of the procedures though (at the end oil is in a bottle and the same brush is used for everyone, I can only imagine how much bacteria probably is living in that ) All was good until it was time to soak them off ... girl ... I am pretty sure this place uses MMA ((I did soak off myself, not sure what they do at the salon itself)) They were sticky, had a really gross smell, and impossible to soak off ... my nail plates are DEAD. Made an appointment for when getting into town from out of state. Thought I gave myself plenty of time but I sadly didn't. I rushed to this place as fast as I could from the airport but still arrived almost 20minutes late. They were super nice here and understood. Everyone was so friendly, great staff! The business was super clean and calm, relaxing. They had plenty of pedicure stations and a couple nail stations, as well as waxing. It's not the biggest place but they make it work for the size! Prices are decent. I got rid of my acrylics and did gel instead and it cost $35. They do have a minimum charge if you're using a card for payment, just an FYI! And tips are preferred in cash of course. May did my nails. She's great! She really tries to make your nails perfect and the way you want. I even come when May is on vacation and just go to another associate working there. Welllllllllllll. It's not often I go with my fiancé to get a pedicure because my feet are naturally beautiful. We were the last appointment at 7:00pm so they said to arrive 15-20mins early so they could close on time at 7:30pm. We came early at 6:30 with a full staff and no one waiting ahead of us. It wasn't what you would call busy. They finally acknowledged us at 7:20pm. At that point we were told to hang out in the massage chairs - just hang out, chillin. The tubs were not filled with foot soak water or anything, no one talked to us again, nothing. At 7:30 the tubs were filled. At 7:45 the pedicure began. Like I said before, I'm not exactly a regular, but this definitely seemed like the crappiest service and experience I've had to say the least. We came here because of the good reviews. I found this place on a Groupon. This is a very small operation. I went in on a Thursday night and there were two technicians. It seemed to me that they were mother and daughter. The Groupon said to make an appointment, so I called and left a message and got a call back within 20 minutes or so. They worked very well with my availability. The night I was there, they were completely booked and could not accommodate any walkins, so I would recommend calling ahead for an appointment. They started with the pedicures and I quickly realized these women are all about the details and making sure you are having a relaxing experience. No one was rushing or pushing. They took their time to do things the right way. They were also very interested in your opinions and how you wanted your nails, which was very refreshing compared to other nail places I have been. My daughter and I decided to get our nails done at the last minute. We usually go to another place, but we decided to try something new as it's closer to our house. I regret my decision. I asked for a gel manicure. As you see by the picture, the manicure is splotchy, uneven and my nails weren't even cut or filed evenly! One nail is completely longer and a different shape than the other. My daughter, who is almost 13, was asked if she would Like a black or white decal. She pulled out hello kitty and Disney stickers. She declined those, of course. The girl then pulled out flower stickers. My daughter is a people pleaser so she agreed, thinking they would be on one nail. She put them on all of them, which looks silly. The decals were falling off before we were even leaving and I mentioned something but the girl touched it and said they were fine. I didn't even realize how horrible my nails were until we got into the car and drove away. I don't even want to go back there to have them fix them- my nails are jagged and there is even nail polish on my skin! This was my first visit to the salon & it was fantastic. It's clean, nicely decorated and parking was easy. I had my acrylics filled and gel polished. May was my tech & she is A-MAY-ZING!!! My nails are so beautiful, that I cannot even stop admiring them long enough to do my damn job! The length and shape are precise & uniform amongst all the nails, which is a common complaint I have abt other salons. They even have an illustrated shape guide to help you choose!!! My acrylic nails are perfectly thin & very natural looking, despite how pointy I wanted them. The salon has a ton of regular & gel polishes to choose from. Needed to get a gel manicure before going out to dinner with girlfriends. I have been to this nail salon once before and they had done an OK job. I decided to go back today and the girl not only CUT me once but twice. Overall, I did not have a great experience due to several reasons. I scheduled an appointment a day in advance but I ended up waiting for an hour before I am seated. Afterwards, I had to wait another 30 mins before an associate begin the pedicure process. During the pedicure, she rushed through the process so I had to fix the shaping of my toe nails when I got home. THE WORST NAIL SALON EVER. I called and asked if I can come for a gel pedicure the woman on the phone told me to come at 5:30. I came in at 5:25 and nobody greets you at the door. You have to walk to the ladies and tell them you have an appointment. After telling them they say "ok" and ignore you. You have to make your way back to the front and take a seat. I waited an ENTIRE hour until they seated me. An hour is ridiculous especially because they told me to come in at a specific time... I have an appointment. Two women walked in that they know and they were greeted and seated immediately. After finally getting seated I asked how much longer until someone starts with me because the woman who seated me left a customer just to seat me. She said she's finishing up with it her customer and will start in two minutes. Not only was that already a terrible experience, she messed my nails up!! I had acrylic on my toes that needed to soak off. They were also grown out and very long. I asked her to cut them down a little and she cut them so short it it almost hurt. My toe nails are short slanted and round... I came in with long square toe nails. I saw her cut down my big toe and she yanked it causing the side to rip. She tried to blame the acrylic and how it broke. I literally watched her be aggressive with my toes and purposely rip the side off. At this point I asked to leave and I didn't want her to continue. She did remove acrylic off my toes so it was $10 but she charged me $40 because she gave me a "pedicure". I don't understand why they're so busy because they definitely don't deserve it. read more
