It's tough to find a decent nail salon, but I have been coming here for a couple of years now and as long as Jennifer is there I will be a loyal customer. They offer all kinds of services from nails, pedicures and waxing. Their price point is comparable to other salons but the quality you get here is the absolute best. It is located in the Deland Publix plaza so there is plenty of parking. You can chance it and do walk ins but they get very busy so I highly recommend making an appointment and I highly recommend asking for Jennifer. Went in expecting a relaxing pedicure, but unfortunately the experience was disrupted by a patron nearby who talked loudly on the phone the entire time, shared personal life stories, and even began crying. It made it very difficult to relax. I politely suggested to the owner that having a designated quiet or no-talking area might be helpful, especially since many customers come in specifically to unwind. At $50+ per service, it's reasonable to expect a calm environment. The concern wasn't really addressed, which was disappointing. A simple quiet-area sign would go a long way in improving the overall experience for guests who are there to relax. read more

The facilities always clean, The staff is sweet and nice and the product lasts a lot longer than any other place I've ever been. I usually NEVER leave bad reviews but the nail tech I got upon walk-in did me soooo dirty. Pros: the place is huge and has a ton of employees. I was able to be seated right away on a Saturday! Cons: Nail tech made me bleed. Polish was applied in THICK layers and rushed, so it dried extremely "wrinkly" on literally every single nail. Polish job was also pretty sloppy in general, I had to ask him to clean off the polish that got on my skin. Nails are all different lengths. I could go on. First, this salon was BEAUTIFUL and spacious. I loved the atmosphere. They got me in right away, without an appointment. I asked to have my acrylics cut and filled. Once we began, I mentioned that the last salon I went to didn't cut my cuticles. The technician said its $10 extra, so I went ahead and got that done too. Since when did that cost extra? My bill came to $35. Reasons why I gave 3 instead of 5 stars is because the technician was way too pushy about me getting a pedicure while I was there. After I said, "no thank you," he made comments about how I should have a lot of money since I don't have kids and I can afford it. I told him I didn't have money and he asked what bills I had to pay. Not sure if the man doing my pedicure was having a really bad day, or if he is just in the wrong business. But he was not polite, made me uncomfortable- mentally and physically. I called ahead to check availability and was given a time to come in and who to see. I got there 10 mins early. At the scheduled time, another client walked in and said they had an appointment with the same person I was supposed to be seeing. The gentleman up front apologized and asked if I could wait about 10 minutes more. I agreed. At that time, he mentioned that I would need to soak my nails off. I thought he would get me started since that would save time. He didn't. I waited almost an hour before being seated at a station with a young lady. She left me soaking for 45 minutes and never came back. Then a different tech came and asked me to move and she did my nails. All in all, I was there for 3 hours and I didn't get a pedicure or any other service. Unfortunately I was not satisfied with the outcome of my nails but I had been there so long I just wanted to go home. The service and expertise of the staff was lacking during my visit. January 12th: This was the closest nail salon near me. I've always had bad luck with nail salons except for 1 but that was over 5 years ago. I hadn't made an appointment so I was one of their walk-ins for the day. No one greeted us when we walked in so I went to sit down. No one had told me that I had to sign in on a piece of paper. I didn't realize that until the lady next to me got called before us when we had gotten there first. But anyways, when I had finally been sat down, I decided to give this 'almond' look a try. While I was there the guy working on my nails had to redo a good amount of them, so not only did I have to wait a long time, but I had to wait it out even longer since he messed up. I didn't think it was too big of a deal, but decided that it was fine so I didn't say anything. January 15: I work in food and beverage right, and I'm not sure if that's why they got ruined so easily... but within 3 days, all 3 of these nails were chipped. I didn't even want to go back to get it fixed because the extension for acrylic nails just felt so cheap compared to the other salons I've been to! I wish I could give this place two stars for trying to fix what was wrong with the polish all over my skin but I can't. I went in for a regular pedicure , gel polish and a flower design. Nothing insane. The girl that did my pedicure did a very sloppy job. I had polish all over my skin. She could not do a flower design to save her life. She was giving me nothing but excuses. Saying that it's the shape of my nails. That's why she couldn't do the design. I let the design go and just told her to take it off and finish the polish. When she finished I had GEL POLISH all over my toes. I tried to let it roll off my back. I paid and left. I'm sitting in my car and I'm looking at it and it's just really getting to me. I called and the sweet front desk girl told me to come back in. When I walk back in the nail tech came up to me and started to get defensive and hostile. She brought me back to the pedicure bowl and asked me what's wrong with it. That she didn't understand what was wrong with it. I told her that there is polish all over my toes and that is sloppy. I asked if someone else could fix it and she ignored me. I was really trying hard not to be rude because I was at my limit. I had to pull my foot away from her before she acknowledge the fact that I didn't want her to fix it. The owner left his client to come fix it. He tried to make a excuse that my toe nails are curved that's why I had polish on my skin. He did fix it and he himself even acknowledged that it looked like "shit". His words not mine. I took my daughter here for a mother daughter spa sort of thing. It was a bad experience from the beginning. The lady doing my daughters feet was so rough another person stepped in to "help." We ended up having our nails done on opposite sides of the salon. That was ok. She ended up getting done way before me. She told her nail tech that she had sensitive fingers. She said she wanted tips and have dip with gel polish. The lady insisted she couldn't do that. She then said something in another language and proceeded to do acrylic. My daughter was ready to cry but the lady was so aggressive she was afraid to say anything. After she was done she came and sat by me. She showed me several places the lady made her bleed and hurt her. I was so shocked and told her that shouldn't have happened. Her nail tech was listening to us and came over and yelled at us. She finally left and I told my daughter we'd leave. But I also told her to take pictures of her hands and I was so sorry. I wanted to have a nice time with her. The lady came back for round two and my daughter had to ask her to leave us alone. We both left very upset. I had already told the nail tech doing my nails that she could do a couple of other services. At this point we just wanted to get out of there and I changed my mind and we left. We see David and Henry and have always had AMAZING experiences. Well, tonight 03/13/18, I made a last minute appointment for a fill and my nail technician was Philip.. Ladies - if you get Philip RUNNNNN! Not only did he burn me MULTIPLE time throughout my visit (and didn't even apologize when I was wincing and saying "ow") but he didn't even do what I asked him for.. My previous nail set were pink and whites. I was just doing black polish this time around. While he was filing my nails, he asked if I wanted to do a gel top coat for $5 more (which I always do because it makes them shinier) and I replied yes. Well, after the fill, he decided to JUST apply the gel coat, and when I was dissatisfied and said that I wanted the black polish (which was right next to his hand the entire visit) -- he responded to me that this looked "better and more natural". At this point, multiple people who were sitting around were laughing and staring. It was actually kind of humiliating, and i didn't want to make a scene about it. So, not only do I now have extremely grown out french nails -- but I had pink and whites originally, and they were filled with a basic color acrylic - so now my nails are 2 toned on the bottom.. You get what you pay for! My $45 Aroma Signature Pedicure was worth EVERY PENNY. First time being exfoliated with fresh lemon slices. Hot towel steam and a 30 minutes leg and foot massage was on point. Kyle spent extra time focusing on foot reflexology - he knew my feet needed it. Then we moved onto the Hot Stones. Can you say HEAVEN? The whole pedicure took about an hour and 40 minutes. Henry seems to be the salon favorite, but I had Kyle as my technician and he was thorough, gentle and gave a great firm massage. They offered complimentary water or soda, and didn't try to pressure sell you add-on services. Their chairs of course are new, but the remote was easy to use as I like to focus the massage chair on my lower back. I've visited many nail salons and this by far is the best in the area. I went here to get a simple gel manicure and it's safe to say I will never be returning.... After two days, two of my nails chipped and three of them started lifting. My gel manicures from every other salon I have been to have lasted me a week at the very least! On top of that it took my nail tech almost two hours to do my nails (no acrylics, just a plain gel mani). A complete waste of time for my nails to be ruined in two days. On top of that, my nail tech was very rude, I asked her questions about my nails and she didn't even bother to look up and answer me. I have been to this salon several times now, always as a walk-in. Even when I've waited (which has never been more than 30-35 minutes...and most of that was from the comfort of a massage chair before my pedicure) it has been a pleasant experience. Hannah #2 (there are two Hannahs, she literally says to ask for her this way! ) did a phenomenal job. My nails are short and brittle right now, and she still made them look wonderful! My gel nail polish looks perfect and my feet feel sooooo soft. Thank you for making me feel so at home. I have my new go-to salon and artist!!! read more
