The best place to go to! I came to visit from California about a year ago and I was looking for a good nail shop, I did a few searches and asked around and I came upon this place. They're very professional, friendly, super clean and new, and wonderful staff. The massage chairs are very comfortable and new. Price: Very comparable to other places except this place is much cleaner and newer. Staff are fun to talk to. Parking: It is shared with other stores in the plaza, there's probably about 6 stores. And parking is first come first serve. Quality: They use the best quality tools. The Gel nails are natural and pretty. And the artists who draws pictures on your nails are excellent artists, they're very intuitive and meticulous. read more

We lived in Derby for five years, and this was my go-to place. The staff was friendly and patient, and they always did a flawless job. My husband's job took us out of state in 2012, and when we returned to Derby last summer, I was really excited to get back to my favorite nail salon and I made an appointment with a friend and came in. When we got to the salon, I was pleased to see it had been remodeled and was really nice inside. Our names were called by an unsmiling tech named Jade. The first sign of trouble was that, despite the place being empty aside from us, our request to sit next to one another was met with tight-lipped silence. She accommodated us, though, and we proceeded to explain what we wanted (yellow and black ombré for a WSU game). She seemed very confused and about what we wanted, and rushed us as we deliberated over colors. As she got started, it took about 2 nails in to realize that the ombré she was attempting looked awful. My friend, who is braver than me, spoke up, saying we didn't like how it looked. At that point, we asked her to just wipe off the black ombré layer, so we could just go with the yellow. She put down her tools and rolled her eyes (!), and finished us up with the yellow, which looked fine. Feeling guilty about frustrating her, we tipped big, but that, too, failed to earn a smile. I don't know if it's under new ownership or what, but as we got in the car, we agreed we didn't deserve that treatment, and vowed to never go back. Since then, I've spoken to other women in Derby who felt rushed or like they were on an "assembly line." I'm really disappointed, and am now going to LV Nails, just north of Panera. read more

Bad experience today. I went with a friend so they put us in chairs next to each other. We were there for pedicures. My chair's tub didn't bubble up. The water movement was equivalent to someone swirling the water with their finger. I tried to communicate that I wanted the bubbles and real water movement like my friend but my technician just ignored me. I tried again to tell her that my water was on the verge of being cold and once again, she ignored me. We finally got my friend's technician to listen and were told that it was broke. Another lady comes by, we explain to her and she drops a bath bomb in my water and says "bubbles". Bad attitude to a paying customer. Once complete, I tried to pay with my gift certificates. I was told no. To be honest, they were past a year since issued. I explained that I had major ankle surgery and was nonweight bearing for months and then covid happened so there was no way for me to come in. They didnt care. This is the second time I have had a bad experience here. I will not be back. read more

this is my 1st review ever so sorry if it's not a good quality one okok to be fair i've only been here twice but my 2 experiences loved it. i did a walk in the first time for a full set (from Quy) originally i wanted them white, we tried it and the white was pretty see through and she helped me pick out a color i really liked. the second time i went in i had a nail that popped off (which for me is really common also going to note other nail salons normally give me a little trouble when i go in to get it fixed and will charge quite a bit just to replace one nail) here it was easy to just go in and ask them to fix it the service was fast but i forgot what color i had on my other nails but i think the match was found. that was lengthy but so far i love it here read more

Do NOT waste your time and money here. They messed up on both pedicures and didn't make it right when given the chance. And the owner has poorly trained employees, and it's dirty. There are far better options in Derby- go ANYWHERE but here!! read more

TERRIBLE customer service. I have been here several times over the past couple years and until recently was pleased with the service. The last time I went the nail tech barely spoke to me. I am a runner so my toes take a beating and when I addressed my concerns she didn't even acknowledge my request. After she was done the toe I was telling her about looked like a 5 year old painted it. With all the competition in this town you would think they would at least act like they want your business. BEWARE!!! They are not honest with pricing. Took a family member to our nails done for our birthday and was VERY disappointed about their deceptive practices. We showed them a picture of what we wanted and was quoted a price. When came time pay the price was WAY more than quoted. There is NO price list anywhere in the store so they make up prices as they go along. It is a shame that they felt the need to try to steal from me because I really liked their salon and was referring lots of people to them.
