Nail Spa - Summer Fun!! Thank you Nail Spa!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Pekin, Illinois

I went to this nail salon previously in the past for a dip manicure, the nails lasted less than a week then started chipping. After going to a few other places and talking to experienced nail techs, I realized it was because nail spa does not use base coat for dip. Recently, I thought I'd give it another try because it is closer to my home. I went back for a dip manicure. The manager tried to say it didn't matter to use the base coat, people only do that to use less dip color. She blamed my nails not lasting on the fact they may not have dried all the way, whatever. Well, I ended up getting them done. I spent $56 plus a $7 tip. My nails started chipping in about a week with six of my ten nails. By the time I arranged to go back, it was on day 10. She said that it was because I use my fingers and dip only lasts 2 weeks. I was frustrated, and just had them soak my nails off and I left. A WASTE of 63$ Mind you, I have had dip on my nails for years without this problem. The past two times, she kept asking me why I'm coming there if other places do better. Well, now I will be sure not to come back. I knew better than to give that place another chance. Highly do NOT recommend if you are looking for a longer lasting dip manicure!!! read more

I'm here right now and I'm sorry I came here. Granted my nails are very short, but they look terrible! Also, they talk their language the whole time when they speak English! The lady who did my toes was rough, didn't smile or even look at me once! She shoved my legs around like I was a piece of machinery! The paraphin wax was a complete joke! I've been there a few times and usually it's fine but the last time was terrible. The gentleman cut both of my big toes and never said anything! I got home and noticed they were burning horrifically. Then today I don't know why but all of a sudden my corners are terribly hurting. Usually they work on the ingrown toenail and give it space or something but it's so tight it hurts and it just feels like I wasted my money :( I just can't get past my cuts! Such a great experience. This is a family ran business, that truly cares about their clients. My friend has a surgical repaired toe and many salons are hesitant to give her a pedicure. This salon asked questions about it, cared about her cautionary feelings and gave her a great pedicure. An amazing place that I will defy return to when in Pekin. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE my nails. Dennis did such an amazing job and he was super friendly and quick. I was just passing through town and found them on google and I was not disappointed at all.
