The best place to go in Troy! My husband and I agree they give the best pedicures hands down. They cater to clients and ensure you get the best/quality service. They genuinely care that you get what suits your lifestyle as far as nails. I love acrylics and having long nails but I want to attempt growing my natural nail but they break-dip starts to dull since I have my hands in product all day. After searching all through yelp, I settled on this place as I really just wanted my eyebrows waxed. I arrived and felt a little dread because of the reviews. I walked in and wasn't greeted by either nail tech that was seated 2 my right as the female worked on a clients nails and the other tech sat right next to her showing off what was on his phone. After a small wait she asked what did I need and I just said eyebrows and she called a young lady from the back who was a breath of fresh air considering the lack of customer service by the other two. The waxer gave me small talk and was friendly enough, she made the trip worthwhile. If not for her I'd of given this place possibly a 1 star. Also it's kind of pricy for the eyebrow waxing. I went here today and was a little worried after reading the previous reviews. But, I had a babysitter for my peanut and I had a limited amount of time, so I risked it. I had the express pedicure and Neeli (sp) talked me into a lip and eyebrow wax. I was pleasantly surprised. First of all, she did a great no nonsense pedi. She was fast, clean and my toes look great! Also, her waxing skills were awesome. My brows and lip look great and the price was right. I agree that the place decor is a little different, but I felt safe and comfortable. This place!!! I read the reviews and did not want to go but needed a pedicure quickly, so I went! And I'm so very glad I did!! I was greeted the second I approached the front counter by a sweet woman doing someone's nails. She said it would be 15 mins and it didn't even take that long to get me back and soaking. My tech came not long after and was super awesome from start to finish! His name was Chad! He was funny and very sweet! The other two technicians beside us joined our conversation and we all had a great time! They spoke English the entire time and made everyone feel very comfortable! They must have regulars because everyone seemed to know each other! I will go back every time for all my nail needs! read more

When I go it's usually a hit or miss. The staff is very nice and helpful. I haven't had any major issues with this place. Every once in a while one of my nails will not be even but to me that isn't a big deal. I always go here and I love it. read more

BI, the nail tech was very rude. I came in for SNS and after my nails were filed I asked if it was too late for a manicure also? He said, Yes. I was shocked. I've never been denied an additional service. I asked him to shape my nails to sqoval (square oval) he said it was either one or the other. Then he told me that it would be an additional fee for the top coat. He was not a professional and he was unkind in his speech and attitude. When I called and asked how much for a full set they didn't even know what price to tell me. Sounded like they had a little kid working their phones for them. Then when I came in, they told me 45$... I wanted French at first and she said it was only extra 5$ so then she told me I should try ombré nails which would only be 2 more dollars which would put me at 7$ for the style. I ended up paying 70$ for nails that arent even cute. My left thumb is crooked and turns to the right. Same with the middle finger on the same hand. The shape is inconsistent. And when the lady was doing my manicure... she was rushing them and throwing my hands around and being really rough. Like she just wanted to get it over with. Do not recommend. read more

I asked for a set of nails. And then I showed the tech the french manicure ombre that i wanted. She did not give me a set of nails. She just did gel polish. I figured because she didn't understand English, I would just roll with it. The gel nails with the cash discount was $38.00. I tipped $22.00 because I felt so bad for the lady since she was upset and still didn't understand what I wanted even after showing her the picture. The very next day, my polish came off two nails. That was Sunday. It is now Tuesday and and I have four out of the 10 nails with polish still on them. I work in an office. If I wanted a manicure like this, I could have used the gel polish that I have at home and saved myself $60.00. I am so upset. $60.00 for my nails to last one day. Don't go here. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I went here for a fill in a pinch because my normal salon was closed. They had been recently renovated and the inside was bougie but the service was terrible. The tech, savanah, made my nails so short and I'm extra mad because they're my nails with an overlay. The normal polish selection sucked so you could tell they pushed for gel. My nails are sloppy and uneven thicknesses and the polish was on my skin and also uneven. The file and drill bit used were not new and the while drilling the nail got so hot I physically pulled my hand away from her. Also the owners kid was running around the whole place the entire time and repeated stood at the station talking back and forth with the tech. I will never go back and learned my lesson to stick to my normal salon read more

Went in for a pedicure, originally has gel on my toes. The male tech used the drill to take off the first layer and then tried to scrape the rest of the gel polish off. He did not want to let them soak at all. I had tell him to stop, the scrapping and drilling of the gel polish without the use of acetone was terrible. My real nails are so very thin after all that unnecessary scrapping. Absolutely terrible... they just want to get you in and get you out... no quality involved. I have been to several nail salons... this is by far the WORST. I would not recommend it his salon to anyone. Terrible Terrible Terrible Don't waste your money!!!!! I went there 2 days ago before I went in I called and made sure how much it was for a basic manicure and mentioned I had previous acrylics on and he said "okay it will be $14 plus tax" so I made an appointment and went there on time. I walked in and no one greeted me or anything I had to go to where they were sitting and say I had an appointment, the daughter of the owner said "go and sign in" so I did as she asked. For about 5 minutes I waited for them to sit me down and they kept on speaking Vietnamese to each other. After waiting so long they finally sat me down and he started to soak off my nails. As soon as he's customers came he moved me to a different station and assigned a hairstylist American girl to do my nails. She seemed like she didn't know what to do but acted it cool. She started doing my nails and for a normal manicure you go by steps of hot water, softening gel and Buffy and filing the nails but she only did that on my left hand and forgot to do it on right. I just ignored it because I didn't want to be rude. After she finished polishing my nails, it was time for my check out and she asked how much it was suppose to be to her owner. And the owner said $22 dollars, I was like didn't you guys say it's $14 dollars plus tax before I came and she kept on saying "oh no you had a soak off" which they never mentioned to me that they charged for that even though they knew I had previous acrylics. The owner was super rude and didn't care what I was saying to her. This was the most horrible nail experience I had. After two days my nails started peeling off and it looked like I did it at home or something. Don't ever go here. Customer service sucks and they don't mention how much they charge until they're done with the whole thing and raise the prices according to their head. read more

I'm new to the area so scoping out the nail salons for pedicures and eyebrow "maintenance'. Location is good and easy to find. Family business. The staff was pleasant and I was taken care of promptly. I didn't have an appointment but looked like appointments could be made if you prefer. The pedicure was OK. I've definitely experienced better. The manicurist gave a thorough pedicure. The issue for me was the appearance. It looks like they tried (or are trying) to make it look like a spa; however, it's not very professional looking. Dust and debris all around. The massage chairs are WELL WORN with most of the buttons unreadable. Water pipes visible throughout the back. I'd go back in a pinch but I'll keep searching. read more

I've been here to get my nails done on more than one occasion. I'd say the service is varying depending on the technician you get. But one thing I didn't like is that both times I went my techs literally used their nail files, the automatic ones and really scratched up my cuticles and the sides of my nails like my skin and such because I just have fat hands I guess. Other than all that I thought it was a great visit and the way they remodeled looks gorgeous. read more

Me and my boyfriend flew into Dayton on business but I didn't have time for my regular mani and pedi back at home. The manicure was fine but the pedicure was horrible. He didn't even let my feet soak in the water. He immediately started working on my feet and it was super quick. The quality was terrible. I am new to the Dayton area and I was looking for a nail salon that was convenient. The staff here was friendly, they spoke perfect English and made sure I was comfortable. My pedicure was done efficiently and I also got my eyebrows and lip waxed.. The price was about right as well. I can definitely see myself going back there. read more

I came into this place wanting a manicure and saw that most of their reviews were five stars. I called and asked the price for a manicure and was told it would cost $15.00. I came in and signed in stating I wanted a manicure on the sign in sheet. A young woman who is the daughter of the manager started my nails believing that I wanted a gel. She spent a large part of the time removing the previous gel off my nails (her fault), plus nail tech never mentioned how much it would cost to remove gel. When she was about to re-gel my nails, I stopped her and told her that I was here for a manicure; she became frustrated because of her mistake and spoke to her management/mother who suggested to send me out without the manicure because my nails looked clean enough (sigh). I wanted a manicure, and that is what I requested. The manager's daughter did a great job, but she rushes through toward the end because she had another customer waiting and then told me that someone was going to handle my payment and she left to see about her other client. When I finished drying, I went up to the desk to pay and was met by the mother/manager and she then told me that to remove the gel would be $7.00, (granted I pay $3.00 at a more luxury nail establishment). I told the manager that I was surprised that it cost so much and that it should have said from the start how much they were charging to remove my gel because I would have liked the opportunity to accept or gone somewhere else. The manager then proceeded to get loud with me after I asked her not too. At that point, I felt disrespected and talked loud back at her. After a few insulting presumptions about my character, I promise never to come back and to share my story. The manager was the most unprofessional and ratchet person I have met in a long time. Just left from this place. Had an appointment at 12:30 but apparently that didn't matter. They let people with appointments at 1:00 go before me. When I finally did get seated it was a rushed service. Didn't even finish my toes by the time I left. I sat in the back in a chair for 30 minutes without the person finishing. She had moved on to someone else's nails in the front of the store! Totally just left me and who knows when she was coming back. I left at 2:30 and I won't be returning. HORRIBLE! I paid 60 dollars for a mani an pedi on saturday and today is Wednesday and they are already chipping on my nails and toes! fyi i got shellac on my nails and those (if done professionally and correctly) can last up to three weeks. smh service was horrible technicians didn't even know how to work the massage chairs. technicians are running through the store having their own personal conversations. Technicians are sharing items, they dont have their own. I was told I had to wait until another technician was finished using the base nail polish before he could base my nails. I have see through spots in my nail polish as well! I wonder if they are all licensed! Equipment is outdated. I go to a spa to relax and get beautified and this was the most unsettling experience. I got my eyebrows waxed an there was hair all over the bed she had me lay on and im missing a patch in one of my eyebrows b/c she was obviously rushing! Absolutely LOVED Amy who was helping out today. She doesn't work at this salon but she was asked if she would be willing to fill in on a busy day. If I had to rate Amy (and the other technicians), they would get 10 stars hands down! All very friendly & more than accommodating. So you are probably wondering why then am I giving this place a 2.....it's because of the owner. We arrived for our 11:30 appt. & after waiting 20 mins we finally asked how long it would be. "Only a couple of mins." We were there for 2 hrs & the whole time she was running people in & out like a herd of cattle...ordering the technicians to hurry up & move on to the next. After I paid the owner, she looked at Amy and told her to hurry up & go do someone else! (Oh course she said it in her native tongue thinking we had no clue what she was saying--wrong). Luckily Amy didn't operate that way. She took her time with me & did a fantastic job. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her: The pedicure chairs (armrests were disgusting--doubt they have ever been wiped off). My girlfriend & I picked out the same gel color for our nails only to find out when time to apply it, they were out....or couldn't find it. No organization whatsoever. I truly felt like her clients were a herd of cattle! The heck with customer service, move them in & move them out! I think next time I will follow Amy to her salon! read more
