I didn't make an appointment and they were able to take me in right away. It's a clean little spa and the prices are affordable. I don't need all the glam and glitz love the simplicity about this place. The workers here are super friendly and made me feel so relaxed during my pedicure. The lady that did my pedicure was so nice. She paid attention to detail and really took the time to get me right. It was a simple and quick process. They have a nice little area for extra drying time thats right in front of their TV which makes sitting and waiting for my nails to dry even better. I'll make a visit back to this place if i need the basics done. Otherwise Id have to find somehwere else that does better quailty work. They are very basic and do a basic job but it's not expensive. I had my first pedicure there recently. I am suspicious that they don't clean the tools in between pedicures. For sure they put used toe separators on my feet! Although they advertise their sanitation methods they don't seem to use them. read more

Do NOT waste your money here. It is the worst place I have ever been. I went to get a no chip manicure and pedicure and, although I was the ONLY customer other than one person, they told me I had to pick only one. Should've known them to walk, but I stuck with it and went with a pedicure. What a joke. All she did was put my feet in water and paint my toenails. $35 down the drain as I now have to go somewhere else to get an actual pedicure, where my poor, beat up feet can get some love and get the dead skin off. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in with my sister and the woman scraped our cuticles so hard we were left bleeding. My fingers are all bleeding and throbbing and the woman was less than friendly anyways. Paid $35 for gel nails and she did an awful job at even the painting part of the appointment. My nails are clumpy, uneven, and bleeding. DO NOT GO HERE. I promise it's not worth the pain. read more

Wonderful manicure! My coworker and I made an appointment and went during lunch and they were quick and did a great job. The salon was clean and very modern with a very large selection of polishes. $15 manicure is very standard in the area and I think it was worth the price. Try also had a water cooler with hot water and packets of green tea, which I drank while I waited. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Omg! Rude!!!! I called to make a nail appointment. The woman who answered the phone didn't announce the name of her business and acted as if I was bothering her. Snotty! Unreal! She hung up on me when I asked her if that is how she addresses the public and potential customers. Do yourself a favor and do not patronize this place. I went in a spur of the moment and got enticed into trying the long-lasting regular (non-gel) manicure. The nail tech was nice and thorough and smiled often which I liked. As advertised, the polish lasted almost a full 2 weeks! I was impressed! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I didn't get a neck massage afterwards which I always enjoy after a mani. read more

Downgraded. In a MAJOR way. Eyebrow waxes are considered a success when the following happens: 1. You are pleased with the shape of the eyebrows 2. You don't feel the need to bust out the tweezers and re-shape your 'brows/pluck stray hairs immediately 3. You don't sense hesitation/fear in the waxer Yeah, the above three things did NOT happen to me after my eyebrow wax. In fact, I spent my drive home plucking and re-shaping (at stoplights, of course!). Ugh. $20 for lip + eyebrow wax. Waste of money! I'm seriously disappointed as I had such a fantastic experience last time. Sadness. read more

I guess if you don't mind paying $45 for mani/pedi that lasts less than 40 minutes, than this is your place. If not, I would suggest going elsewhere. I walked in and was greeted with a "well, i guess we can take you" attitude. I was sent to over to the pedicure station where the water was SCALDING hot and the pedicure was far below par. I am pretty sure that my nail technician (if you can even call her that) could've won an olympic gold medal for the speed at which she scrapped my feet, applied a coat of polish and whisked me off to the manicure station. Went in for a no chip. The woman did a horrible job removing my current no chip. Had to point out three spots that still had nail polish on them. Her response "oh you found more". Since she did such a poor job removing my no chip I told her I'd rather get a clear manicure, didn't want to risk a bad no chip. Her response when I said I wanted a regular clear manicure "great the no chip color you picked was ugly." Even with the clear manicure I still found no chip polish from before. Wish I could give no stars. They also had a limited amount of colors to choose from for a regular manicure. I've only had two bad experiences at other nail salons but this one by far took the gold! read more

Very negative experience today. Came in with my mom and 12 year old niece for manicures + pedicures. The staff barely say hello or have an expression when you walk in. They did not help my niece up out of the chair when she was done with her pedicure, or any of us. It's very easy to slip and fall in your sandals. Next, I felt they rushed my nails and toes because I was finished much faster than the others. When I went to pay in cash and tipped in cash, they didn't even say thank you to any of us. I will not be coming back when you can't even thank the customer for leaving a tip. Next, they didn't bring my niece's purse and jacket to the drying station. I don't believe I am being too picky, as so many other nail salons have no problem going above and beyond to help the customer with the little things. Here's when we got really upset: we noticed when we sat down at the drying station how dirty and dusty the floor was where you put your bare feet, including old nail clippings. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND GROSS! One of the workers noticed us all bending down and applying drying drops to our nails and toes. Every other nail salon I frequent always gets up and offers to do this for the customer. The place was empty and the workers were just sitting around completely oblivious. No manager or owner around, so nobody cared at all about our concerns. My mom asked one of the workers to please come over for a minute. She voiced her concerns, and the young woman working there looked at us like she could care less and pointed out she is not the owner and the owner is not here. My mom told them how out of it they are, nobody getting up to help out, how dirty the floors were - and the woman said to my mother "I am not your servant." OMG!!!! My mom and I stormed out and said that's it. We will be contacting the owner and will never come back again. Clearly with no owner or manager there, nobody even flinched or cared. Literally nobody else turned around. So many nicer and more professional salons to choose from within 5 min drive or walk!!! Forget this place!!!! just to follow up: the oblivious salon worker randomly texted my mom on her cell hours later - she must have got her number from the salons caller ID and matched it up to the credit card info. harassing my mom about what was said and labeling us rude customers. my mom said do not text me again. this needs to be reported to management ASAP as she should be fired! read more

We really like Nails by Design. My daughters and I have been coming here for several years. The staff is very nice and friendly. They can usually get us in with pretty short notice which is very convenient. The salon is clean and well maintained. I love the massage chair--it really relaxes me while I am getting a pedicure. Free wifi--TV with entertainment--good magazines--what else could you ask for? I highly recommend Nails By Design! read more

I needed a quick eyebrow wax so I decided to go to Nails by Design because it's literally one minute away from my house. As for my brows,The girl ripped off skin and burned me. I told myself not to go back, but was lazy and ended up going back there last week because they are so close to me.They have a" walk in" sign, So I walked in and asked to get a manicure and my no-chip polish taken off. They told me they didn't have time, and the place wasn't even busy! Sooooo annoying, I finally learned my lesson and will never go back. Plus their nail services are a little overpriced. read more

This place is the WORST!!!! I would rather NEVER get my nails done ever again than come back to this horrible place! The rudest, unfriendly, unhelpful staff at any nail salon I've ever been! To add to that, the nail drying station was so filthy, dusty and the icing on the cake was the nail clippings all on the floor at the drying station. When brought to the nail tech's attention they were incredibly rude. I will never be giving this place my business again. Only giving 1 star as unfortunately 0 is not an option. It was Christmas Eve and I literally had the Grinch do my nails- her name was Grace. I had to drop my sister off first since she had foot surgery (so she was 10 mins early) and the parking lot was a madhouse. I still came 5 minutes early. As I was parking she asked my sister three times very angry where I was. Then, when I walked in she shouted at me "Pick a Color!!" So I quickly picked a color. As she was filing my nails, the file kept hitting my skin and she was digging her nails into the bottom of my fingers the whole time she was filing, which hurt and seemed purposeful. While letting my hands soak she walked away somewhere else. The whole time, you could just tell how angry she was and was very upset. This made it a very unpleasant nail experience, even though it's not something I get to do all the time (but my mom comes here weekly). She sighed heavily before massaging my hands very briefly and then sent me to the drying station, never said thank you for payment. Put me at the drying station and never came back to do the quick dry finish coat. I definitely would not recommend coming back here, namely with Grace. This was a nice present for my mom but instead ruined my mood on Christmas Eve. read more
