One of the worst and most expensive mani/pedis I have ever received. I had read the reviews so knew it might be subpar but really needed my nails done before a wedding and most of the other nail salons in the area were closed for the season. Sheri be charged me $115 (pre-tip) for a gel manicure and a normal pedicure. Other people who were in the shop seemed to pay $30-45 for a gel manicure so agree with the other comments that prices don't seem to be set and you should ask for the price before you come in. Beyond the price it is definitely one of the worst mani/pedis I have had aesthetically and from a care perspective. Sherine said she believes that trimming cuticles or doing anything to the skin makes them grow back more so she doesn't do it. So she pretty much just literally paints your nails. Sherine was a nice lady which is what holds me back from giving it one star. I had a pleasant enough experience and had she not charged so much I might have just moved on from the bad work. But it's the combo of the price and bad job that left it feeling like an experience to avoid. read more

What a Refreshing experience at this charming boutique and nail salon. The owner Sherine is very pleasant and gave a wonderful pedicure the fashions in the boutique are reasonably price and of fine quality. The salon is very clean well-kept. It seemed to me that Sherine has a sliding scale for what she charges on her nail care and products that she sells at her store. My pedicure ended up costing $45, for a subpar job. I will say, she did paint them up nicely. Maybe I'm used to a higher standard of service but for that price, she should have delivered. I also felt like she was really pushing her skin care line that she sells. I also tried on a few dresses and found two that I liked. When I asked her what they cost, because none of her items have price tags on them, very sketchy. She quickly said, $150. Seriously? I ended up googling the dress designers when I got home and the dresses on average sold for $40. I was shocked at what she was up pricing her items for. Needless to say, if I had gotten a fair price and service, I would have been happy to return. But I felt like I was being taken advantage of. read more

My mom and I went to get manicures and pedicures at Nails by Sherine, we went in on a Sunday to make appointments, we came back in not even two days later for our appointments and she didn't even remember who we were, nor that we had two appointments for that day! She told us on the first day we could get both pedicures at once but now they were 45 minutes apart. That was the first kicker! Throughout the whole 2 hours we were there, multiple women came in for their appointments, making everyone else feel rushed and uncomfortable. On top of being uncomfortable with the service, Sherine's conversations with her other clients were beyond inappropriate and simply rude. At the end of each of our appointments and as were paying, the other girl working in the store asked her what the total was for both, as we looked over, Sherine just came up with a total off the top of her head? Unbelievable! Our nails look like we did them at home and the polish was so thick that some of the nail polish smeared hours later throughout the day. She fit us in for mani/pedis on a Sunday afternoon--just in time for our event. Our pedicures look great -- especially on my mom. She was very happy with the outcome of her toes. I had a shellac manicure and it seemed to be fine. We had a good experience, but I felt a little awkward at the plugs to buy or try on one of the dresses in the shop (I'm sure they look great on but they seemed really overpriced). Sherine had availability last minute for a shellac manicure when all the other places in town were booked. Sherine did a good job of painting my nails, that is all. The overall experience was terrible. My nails were not soaked first, I left with a divot in one of my nails (that I later had to file down), and most hang nails still intact, which I did not realize until after my hands had dried from the copious amount of lotion Sherine put on me at the end of the rushed service and charging $45. During the appointment that lasted a mere 20 minutes, when cutting a hangnail on my pinky finger, I bled (no big deal) and immediately Sherine exclaimed, "I cut you! Just like the Asians do!" I explained that it's no big deal and she went on to ask if "there are a lot of Asian shops" where I'm from. I responded that yes, there are several Vietnamese owned salons...her response, "they are taking over!" Not worth $45 or your time to correct racism; you are better off doing your own nails. read more

This is my favorite place to shop in ketchum. She has the cutest cloths and accessories that are actually affordable. Sherine(the owner) is such a sweet sales person. She goes out of her way to help you and make sure you are happy with your purchases. And she has new merchandise for every season read more

Sherine was amazing- kind, compassionate, caring and so accommodating. My mom and I went in on a Sunday afternoon, she fit us in, made us feel extremely comfortable and we had the best time. I loved her so much we went back to our hotel and made sure they recommend her to other guests. Our toes and nails look great- we loved the products she used ( a lot of all natural) for the pedicure. Also while we were there a lot of people came in without appointments but she managed to schedule them all and is even staying late for another client. I recommend calling ahead - but if you're just walking by, stop In bc she'll try to get you in. I wish we had a Sherine in Philadelphia! read more

Technician never showed up for my appointment. The owner was very nice and tried to squeeze me into her schedule. But, the manicure was awful. No hand massage and it started peeling immediately. I don't blame her for trying to help, but it was not worth $30.00 read more

Besides enjoying fun conversation with Sherine who is so nice , she is always punctual, professional, and does a great job. Plus she has clothing now that is jumping out the door. Very cute and cozy place to stop in and get a manicure while you are in Sun Valley. This shop is not your typical nail salon- no bad smells and very lodge-like in atmosphere. Right across the street from Atkinson's market. Sherine is very friendly. $25.00 for a manicure and $10 for a polish change. Not too bad. read more

We were in town for a fun filled wedding weekend and my daughter made appointments for us to have manis and pedis with Sherine. We were both very happy with the results and Sherine was so friendly! Don't do business with this irresponsible woman, and do be careful even walking by her salon! Her two vicious dogs attacked my dog a few days ago, and tried to kill it! We were walking down the sidewalk and her dogs bolted out the open salon door at my dog (who was on a leash). The St. Bernard grabbed her by the neck and the other retriever grabbed her by the back leg and tried to take her down. My husband was eventually able to get them off of her, and was lucky he wasn't bitten! It was a brutal attack, and we had to take her to the vet for treatment. Stay away, she's an idiot. read more

I walked in and felt lucky to get to have a manicure. She is a very nice person. However, this is possibly the worst manicure I've ever had. She used a gel product that did not call for lamp to cure. I didn't know that because she didn't tell me until I went back in fairly quickly with 2 ruined nails. We did allow time for them to dry. She did not massage my hands or use any lotion whatsoever. On the second try for the 2 ruined nails, she put only a light coat on and a topcoat. They look different from the other nails. I sat in my car for 30 minutes to let them dry. They still dent when tapped lightly. One of the nails is sticky. This is after 30 minutes by the clock! The cuticles have polish on them beside 2 nails. Come on. She said to come back if I wasn't satisfied. I've never seen such a slap-dash operation in my life. I've had manicures all over the world. Unfortunately, I am a visitor here and have no nail tools with me. I am hoping against hope that putting a few coats of hard as nails product will keep them from denting at a party tonight. I am really disgusted. I will try to repair the polish left on my skin by using an emery board. BTW, I have never written a bad review on anyone. This is a first. BIG MISTAKE going in there.
