I was immediately seated and started on. They could use more color selections but they had all the best colors available. The pedicure was very detailed. I got to choose my scent for the scrub. I chose the citrus one. I don't think my nails or feet have ever looked so perfect. Even my fiancé noticed how nice my normally messed up cuticles looked. Helen greeted me at the door with a smile, but the moment I calmly explained the situation, her attitude shifted to irritation. I told her this was my first time using that particular gel brand, and something clearly went wrong. When I asked to switch to a different brand in a similar color to avoid the same issue again, she acted annoyed and flatly told me it would cost $33. To be clear, this wasn't a "I don't like the color" situation. The product failed. Yet she insisted she could only redo the two damaged nails using the same brand unless I paid extra. After spending so much money, and after months of being a loyal, easygoing client who never complains, that response was unacceptable.
