They were very patient while the town took ages to approve the construction permits. This was not due to the plans but the town's issues. The building process was scheduled and completed on time. Despite having every feature imaginable including a keypad, automatic open sensors and wifi, the price was reasonable. Overall very impressed with the quality and again the features. I recommend them for any of your gate or fencing needs.

A review can help consumers who are undecided, and it can provide valuable feedback to a business. I struggled with Jan Fence. They come highly recommended from many different sources. The craftsmanship and quality of work was excellent. The builders who came onsite to do the job were mostly great. But a business is more than the products it sells or services it delivers. There is discovery and scoping of the original project. There is communication. There is the paper process. A lot of things can contribute to a poor experience, even when the end result is pretty good. This is what brings me to my review of Jan Fence. For starters, communication was less than optimal to say the least. They delayed my project by at least two weeks by giving me two year-old, outdated financial information and then continued to placate me about waiting another day here, another day there, for my payment to process. Many times my emails, voicemails, and text messages have gone unanswered or delayed. I even had an email bounce back from an address provided on the site. One of the managers even called me and asked me about my experience, and I explained the shortcomings and how they could be improved. Yet, the one component of my fence build that is faulty, is arguably the most important: the gate and latch. The latch auto catches about 45-60% of the time (rough estimate). The reason we put up our new fence and new gate, was for the dog's and children's safety. A gate that will not close reliably poses a significant security risk. Getting a response on this one little item right after dropping a not-insignificant pile of cash has proven a Herculean effort. Given that my voice has mostly gone unheard by the business, I felt it warranted a fair review of my experience.
